Hmmm no my coach didn't say anything, did your coach give a reason why?

I am doing so much more cooking/prep than I ever have. I need a sous chef!

Kellimomo3 thank you for the 411; this is awesome and I'm happy to hear it's Phase I friendly - BONUS! Looking forward to trying the deviled eggs especially. Thanks for the share, glad you enjoyed it.

The buffalo chicken dip I got from here. There were no measurements so I winged it and it was a bit too spicy but good. Just sugar free wing sauce, IP chicken patty pack, WF bleu cheese dressing, garlic power, sea salt, splash of apple cider vinegar heated on stove till bubbling and served with veggies!!

You know, she may have at the time but I don't recall. I will have to ask again. It helps me to spread the meals out sometimes.

I've not started a thread before, but I believe you go to the IP forum main page (where you see all the thread topics) in the right hand corner is says forum tools (i think) and there you will see start a new thread click on that , name your thread and make your first post and give it time and others who started in september will follow!

Just be cautious of the fact that the Veggie Cheese is not on IP protocol sheet.

It has been discussed on several threads and concensus among those willing to eat off protocol suggest only a very small amount be used to add a little flavor to say an omelette (small meaning 1 T). So I don't know if making a taco shell would use more (I assume it would.)

Default So excited - 10lbs so far! yay!!!

It was so overwhelming at first...I've been taking it one day at a time and I can't believe I've just started my fourth week already with great success: 10 lbs so far.

My only real challenge so far has been the big "C" which I hope I can resolve quickly

It's been so great reading everyone's contributions to this thread, it has really made my road easier. Thanks!!!

Now I know I can get through the wedding we are going to next weekend!!!! Excited for my weigh in tomorrow. Scale here at home says I'm down another 4 pounds!!
Congrats on your success you should be so proud of yourself for not giving into temptation...

I'm in my 4th week too and felt the same way at first. It's turning out to be much easier than I thought it would be! Some cravings are starting to hit now though, even more so than in the beginning, so I recommit each day to stay 100% OP because I know it works!

Good for you! And good luck on your weigh in! I'm also feeling quite proud that I got through a dinner at my neighbor's last night, then had my kids over for dinner tonight and stayed 100% OP for both! The hardest part was not being able to taste-test some of the things I made! But didn't even lick my fingers (bbq sauce! )

Kinda graphic if you have a queasy/weak stomach

On day one of week 5 - feeling very nauseated this am - anyone else experience this feeling - I assumed water would do the trick, but it actually just made it come back up

Oh sweet baby Jesus do I feel terrible this am. I'm exhausted and I woke up at 4 am drenched in sweat. Just started TOM for the time on IP. The cramps are terrible. Ugh. But gotta suck it up and get thru the day.

Yesterday I hosted a watch party for my casino customers. They had the best time ribbing me because I brought cucumbers and peppers to snack on! The restaurant provided food, fried wings, pulled pork, nachos and desserts. I avoided it all and drank water and had my veggies. Several ppl were impressed by my will power and spent the first half of the game asking me about IP. I answered their questions as best I could! Several asked my my centers address, so I emailed my coach their names. John 'awards' us each time a referral comes in with an extra packet or a gift. Last week he gave me one of the IP measuring tapes. Since I'm always sewing /fixing my daughters dancing costumes or making costumes for ppl it will come in handy!

On a positive note according to the home scale I've hit the 20 lb mark! So hopefully by Thursday it will show on the centers scale!
