Hi All,
Great ideas I am seeing from everyone.. I had my second weigh in today and was down 2 lbs.. I know that is good but was really hoping for more.. My body certainly doesn't want to give up my fat easily.. lol..
My coach always reviews my food log carefully and made a few suggestions I will try.. I have been using a lot of the flavouring for my water.. so I will cut down on that, one night I had tomato sauce and he said that has quite a bit of sugar..
I will just keep trucking along. and know I have lost 7.5 in two weeks..
Happy Friday everyone!

I'm a little late to join this thread but I also started in August, on my daughter's birthday - so I won't be forgetting that date!
I'm down 13.2 pounds so far (and that includes going on vacation and a conference for two weeks). So overall, I'm satisfied that I still lost a little while on vacation and am hoping that now I'm back home and on IP 100% that the losses will pick up.
Good luck everyone, we can do this!!

Ok this concerns TOM - slight overshare warning.
I should have started about a week ago - started today and it is very spotty and light. hmmm, not my usual M.O. at all. I guess it does mess with your cycle. interesting. Anyone else have a variation from routine in this area?

Same here! Every morning I put 6 oz icy cold water in my shaker, add 1 heaping tsp instant coffee crystals, IP choc drink mix - shake that up. Pour into my smoothie maker/blender, add 1 c fresh spinach leaves and several ice cubes (the key is to get the right amount of ice to make it thick and smooth just like a milkshake). It is DELICIOUS! I've done the same at night, substituting decaf coffee. Your husband is right cole22. You absolutely do not taste the spinach AT ALL. You must try it!! I swear - it could be a milkshake from McDonalds (I know - that's a bad word!!!) But what a treat - especially when you are craving something sweet.
PS - I pour it into one of those insulated tumblers that includes the thick, hard plastic straw. Perfect! Keeps it cold, and it's not too thick for the straw.

If anyone is looking to buy a blender/smoothie maker, Target has a Hamilton Beach Smoothie Maker/blender that has all the regular blender settings, but also has a timed smoothie setting that automatically pulses a few times, then blends, then turns itself off. It works GREAT! Also has a pour spout, which is perfect for my morning smoothies!

Yay! There it is! I decided to track the # lbs lost and 'to go' rather than my weight on the tracker since I have my weight status in my profile 'status' on the side. I like being able to 'count down' to my goal!

Same thing happened to me! Much lighter than usual and didn't last as long and I am on the pill so it usually is the exact same each month. Interesting...

Scroll all the way to the top left, to where it says "User CP" in the purple bar. If you see "Edit Signature" that means you finally have access to your signature and you can set up your tracker there. Just be sure after you 'design' your tracker, to copy and paste it (you'll see where you do that) into the "Signature" text box, then be sure to "Save Signature". Your next post should have your signature/tracker!

That's so exciting @slownstead, yay! I need to back track and read how I can get a tracker too. I think I remember reading it takes so many posts.
Tomorrow will be my 2nd WI however, I started on a Wednesday and changed my WI days to Saturday AMs as I'd like to WI early. So, really, my 3rd wk started on Wed. Anyway, I'm happy to WI tomorrow and also pick up my new food for the wk (variety).
Does anyone have any problems with feeling a bit flat? I still feel tired and flat at times (not as energetic as wk 1), not sure why?? Hmm..

You have to give it 20 days, and must have 20 posts, before your "Edit Signature" will show up.
Actually, today is my 18th day on IP (but started on this forum a few days earlier, so reached my 20 days today!), and I kind of got a 'second wind' and am starting to feel MORE energetic than week 1! Are you getting your water and salt in?
