I have not looked into anything like that, but know it will be needed with maintenance. When I get back to the world of internet faster than this slow dialup, I'll check it out.
Time to pass the laptop to DH. He's a news junkie. Can't go without an hour of reading news topics. It works fine at home where both have our own computers.
OOOo hello lovely ladies....so many posts to catch up on....been busy today...my daughter is coming and should be here in a few more minutes so will have to catch up tomorrow evening!!
thinking about ALL OF YOU!!!! missing my 3fc time!!! had a LOT of posts to respond to!!! so now i better get dressed in the skinniest outfit i have so she can see the new me as she has not seen me since mid july!!! yipeee!!!!
Ok - You ladies who were talking about Downton a couple days ago are in trouble!! RAINBOW...DANA, who was it! I didn't know what it was, so looked it up and have been streaming to my Kindle all day watching season 1. Haven't gotten a thing done today!!
You think Season 1 was good wait until you see 2 and 3. They were AMAZING! Won't give any secrets away but they were good! So sad Season 3 is coming to an end in the UK but the US will be able to watch them all on PBS starting in January. Dont' miss any of them.

LOL I feel that way too. Here I was beating myself up over not having the gumption to do it anymore, and today I was all over it knowing someone would see the little message "Halfagain has completed....." It made a difference for sure.
awww how sweet. I'm a knitter - well used to be. All my stash is stored away hoping someday I'll get a hankering to knit again. The great news about loosing weight now is:
All those sweaters I have the lovely yarn to make will take me 1/2 the time to knit them!
Since I didn't get them done, ripping what I did do out and starting over will be easy.
I'm getting colder more, so I would wear the sweaters more
There are more cute patterns written for normal size ladies than plus size ladies - while i can modify a pattern, it's so nice to just knit without doing math to make it work
I have lots of extra yarn purchased for the larger size garmets - which means I have less chance of running out of a hand dyed colorway that I can't find again if the project takes more than expected
I have a good 5 months before i get to goal weight yet, so I can procrastinate starting a new sweater project until I know what size I'll want to knit
During procrastination I can shop for more yarn (ooo hope hubby isn't reading)
Oh hey.. ultimately I will buy less yarn overall because I don't need as much per project...once again IP saves money!
Okay much of that is joking about buying more. My stash of yarn would choke a elephant - or rather if you were in to felting, you could felt an elephant out of it. Hmmm speaking of felting.. that burns a lot of yarn fast for a felted hat. It's a nice big chunky knit to make a monster hat that you wash until it shrinks into a cute little wool cap... and my head shouldn't get smaller.. maybe I'll do that! Hubby would swoon if I made him another.. he loves a felted hat and he's deserving putting up with my stash in his garage.

You sound like a pro! I just have some cheap stuff in rainbow colors to learn with. I love all your great benefits! Definitely do the felt hat. That sounds really clever!

Good morning, all.
Only 2 1/2 more days left here at the cottage. (Boo Hoo) Still have all those leaves to deal with. I raked yesterday from around the trees so it's easy mulching and they don't get missed. That's the most exercise I've had in over a year. Being overweight and a bad foot limits what you do. I did pay for it with my foot though. DH gets to rake today. I just sit on the mower, ride around, and mulch.
I would love to have some accountability friends on MFP. My username there is 3fcFishette. I wanted to be just Fishette, but would you believe that name is already taken! umph!
I sent an invitation to Halfagain and Lizzy63. Anyone else want to join me? Just go to the top tab that says "Community" and then a little tab line under that will appear with Find Members, and then you can search on 3fcFishette in the user name fields.
I'm dzizzyjean on MVP. I'm a newbie there, just joined. I had been on live strong.

Have a wonderful day, rainbow. You are getting skinnier all the time!
Since I'm 49.5, I lurk on your convo here but had to say I spend every July in MI
(Grand Traverse Bay, between Elk Rapids & Charlevoix). I'm also a displaced Michigander (Lansing).
Next summer, plan on an Ip meetup! (Maybe in TC?) I'll be at goal

Oh I just love when I get to see my oldest son, he's 27, how old are your kids? You have a great visit, enjoy every minute!

Lisa, don't tell anyone but I'm only 49 as well, but these ladies are so wonderful and helpful and full of knowledge, and of course you know the bible says to listen to your elders, so I figure we are being blessed for doing what we're supposed to, right?
HAPPY SATURDAY!! All you chicks, I'm off to a craft fair, don't you just love fall, I do. Teena

I knit as well currently working on a thick comfy afghan for my sister. Have not had great luck with sweaters, but have done some socks. I like socks because they are portable. Good luck with your stash only someone who does crafts understands, especially yarn crafts.
