Ladies those that have done phase 2, did you find you got hungrier faster? or could it be part of my cleansing? I am starving by 1130 now and my stomach starts growling and girgling about 1 hour before that?

I've done Phase 2 off and on through this whole journey. I'm thinking it's probably the cleanse, cuz I've never had that problem.

My coach suggested it as she said my liver and kidney have been working hard for 7 months. So she told me to get a cleanse that cleanses the liver, kidney and bowels.. it is called "Cleanse Smart". It is a 30 day cleanse you take 2 pills in the morning on an empty stomach 1/2 hour before a meal, and 2 in the evening 3 hours after having a meal and 1/2 hour before eating. Hello all. The toddler birthday cake is underway... My oh my. What work! I am completely insane, but he will love it. He's already helping with the little things here and there. I just made him a cupcake so that he didn't have to wait until Sunday for everything... I'm making all the pieces (trees, pond, grass, railroad tracks, railroad ties, tunnel tiles) today, along with the cake. I will assemble everything tomorrow. Good thing fondant doesn't go bad! I also found a good cake recipe (easy!). I tasted the crumbs off the cake tester and it was good. Of course, I haven't had sugar or flour in 6 months, so I might not be the best tester.

I will post pics to photobucket and send a link when it's finished. For those of you on facebook, friend me and you can see the whole thing unfold in one of my specialty photo albums.

I was STARVING during Phase 2- it was by far the Phase that I disliked the most as it seemed to be kind of the worst of all worlds- I had so gotten used to Phase 1 and the packets & recipes & variety that moving into Phase 2 somehow seemed more restrictive and less satisfying. But you have Phase 3 looming- Carb loading in the morning is awesome!! It makes you so excited for the next day You've done so well- I love your new avatar by the way- I was so excited to read that you've busted out of the 160's!! That decade took forever for me as well but the 150's blew by- it seems that it's the same for you!

I was more hungry during Phase 2. When I was still in Phase 1 and had an occasional Phase 2 day, it never affected me, but when I was on Phase 2 for few days, By mid afternoon most days, I was starving. I would either save my veggies from lunch to have later in the day, or have a couple of pickles as soon as I got home from work.

I don't know if I was more hungry because of not having my packet at lunch, or if it was in my head or what. Sounds like some others experienced the same thing, so I think there is something to it.

Some days during phase 3, i would get hungry in the morning, even with the big breakfast. But I have always thought eating breakfast makes me hungrier through the day. In Phase 4 I keep my breakfasts pretty simple, a shake or a bar and some fruit.

On a personal note, I hit 150 this morning! The weight I gained in Vegas, and the 2 lbs I gained in Phase 3 are gone!

Also Great News! WTG on getting back to 150! And in maintenance no less
I agree with you a bit about breakfast sometimes making me feel hungrier in the morning. I've taken to splitting it up a bit and having yogurt/ berries/ granola together then having a slice of toast with PB an hour or two later. I know it isn't strict Phase 4 OP to do it that way but it has worked well for me. And as cliche as it sounds- Everyone IS different So each of us will need to experiment a bit to find what works best for us...

I'm feeling good! As you may have noticed my pics on FB, I painted my bathroom today! LOL! And got into trouble for it! But I like it! And I'm getting awfully bored! I am hoping to return to work on the 19th!

Funny, cause I didn't have to change my my tickers or anything. I am where I was when I left.

I want to start up again and lose these last 15 pounds! Even though I haven't gained the weight back, I have noticed that my shape has changed. It's amazing how many inches you lose on IP!

Pxlkitty- I know how you feel about having a buffer. Unfortunately...think I'm gonna have to stick it out with whatever I end up with here.
Starting phase 2 on Monday, I believe.

Can you tell me where your shape has changed the most since you started maintenance? Do you feel like you are growing in the middle? or????

I changed my profile pic again. My hubby took this yesterday. It's way overexposed, but I don't care. It's very artistic and I made it sepia to get a little contrast so you can see it.
