I myself had a dilemma this weekend when I realized I had no clothes to do agility, being in a barn for 2 days it was hard to find something that fit, (which none of my coats or hoodies did) ended up wearing my one pair of yoga pants an old too big t-shirt, a long sleeved running shirt (too big) a Hoodie (yep too big) and my club coat... I looked like someone wearing someone elses clothing... but I made it through that is all that counts. I hope I can get to my goal before too long... thanks for the inspiration.
Not sure if I wrote this so sorry if I confused anyone. I'm in Phase 2 right now... I will swap to Phase 3 soon... I'm actually sort of doing Phase 2.5 while traveling. I had some yogurt, strawberries, and blueberries this morning. No muesli or anything with grains, but I did have some fruit.

Sounds like it's time to go shopping, Joanne! You have inspired me too...

I like you are kind of tired of shopping... and I must admit a little scared to go into real stores..but I did buy new panties as I coudln't wear my old ones. right now it is a money issue as well, so will make do with goodwill and value village and my friend... tried going through my sister's closet but still too big for her clothes... I also have to find some long pants as I tried a pair on today and they were way too baggy... I never really liked shopping and now it seems like work, having to try on everything... maybe I am just a little bummed because of a bad wi. I think i just don't know what else I can do to progress to my goal. I was so excited that I was 14 lbs away from my goal last week and was looking forward to be even less this week... so now I am 18 lbs away. I know it is water retention but that really doesn't make me feel any better. and now it is getting close to my TOM so I will have another slow week. Okay enough whining... I will struggle on.

I had a look at your maintenance sheet challenge... I can't wait to join you all on it... hopefully soon.

Have a great night..

Wow! All the new pictures are fabulous! Look at you wonderful women! So inspiring.

Pxlkitty..congrats on hitting goal! Absolutely a fabulous feeling! I'm excited to hear how you do in maintenance!

I promised Mamarix that I would post some pics of me and my girls. I'm only announcing here, that they are up in my Progress pic thread. Last post. I'll prolly delete it in a while, but I'll give those of you that have supported and loved me through this and want to see my beautiful babies can have a chance!

I'm doing a few weeks of phase 1 again..and then phasing off correctly. That's my plan anyway.

Man I have missed you... I can't wait to see the pics, unfortunately can't at work... will try tonight.

Hope everything is good with you. I am thinking of going back to phase 1 too as I had another sucky week. can't figure out what is going on neither can my coach... we will see next week. Not sure if I will ever see my goal but am trying my darnest. Now that it is getting cold I have to shop for long pants, boots, coats and lots of gloves as it is still warm and I need gloves every day... Love being thinner not so much liking being cold ALL the time.
2 more days of the month Cleanse, can't wait it is hard enough to remember the supplements and to add 4 extra pills in... and strict times to take them... sigh... this weekend is finally a free weekend, going to meet friends at the off leash and just spend the day doing what I want. Then Sunday going to clean behind my shed where my "wonderful" brother hoarded a bunch of stuff and I am afraid to see what is there. I want to be prepared this year for winter. Like I ever will be... cold snow not my thing... but neither is hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, draughts... etc.

Have a great day all... off to reboot some computer equip.

You will be in maintenance in no time. I know it seems like forever now... Hang in there. It's just one week and it might be a little stall. You'll be moving again in no time.

Thanks I am hoping but I don't know maybe I am at my ideal weight too... I guess we will see what the Regional Coach will say after my coach contacts her as my coach has never seen this... oh well, still liking phase 2, like having meat at lunch, at least most times.

OMG - what a beautiful bunch of ladies! Your girls are precious - and you are looking goooood!! First day of school is always so bitter sweet. I love to see them off but they always look so grown up. Mine are in 3rd, 4th & 5th grade this year. Don't know where the years have gone.

I DID IT!! I'm 3 lbs under goal and will move to Phase III tomorrow. Thanks to your willingness to share & encourage, I think I'm well prepared to tackle this new chapter. I can't tell you how much I depend on this forum for your shared experiences. It has made this journey much easier.

I don't own a winter coat that fits. I tried to shop for one while in NY, but I didn't find anything that I really liked. Granted, I didn't have much time. Grrr. I do have one nice fleece... This will have to be no. 1 shopping priority until solved.

Oh, I updated my ticker today. I weighed 145.0 this morning... I am declaring today as goal day. I will now do official WIs using my scale, which is always within a pound of my coach's goal. I will weigh in the morning without clothes.
Wow!! Well done, I'm so proud of you!

Sorry I haven't been around for a while...this is a really busy time of year for me at work and home...so I've checked in occassionally, but haven't really had time to post.
I'm still maintaining....haven't been as good as I should have with the water consumption. I have my TOM this week and hit 140 on the scale this morning...which is the highest I have been since I started maintenance - I've been holding pretty steady somewhere between 136 and 137.
I'm starting to feel chubby again (I was doing really well...but I don't know if it's a hormone thing because of TOM, or if I really am losing my mind!). I'm tempted to start phase 1 again and try to lose another 10, but my mind goes back to why I phased out in the first place (gaunt face)...maybe in the new year. Last year, I never ever would have believed that I would have felt chubby at 140#'s...
Hope everyone had a fantastic summer season!

You look fantastic!!!!! Congratulations, you and the girls are beautiful. What a complete difference from the first picture in that post of you sitting at the bench...you look like a completely different person!

I know what you mean! I can SO totally relate.

I got TOM yesterday and have been traveling. End of day today and I got home. Weighed myself with clothes on after drinking a ton of perrier on the train. 150! ARGH!!! I need to calm down and weight tomorrow morning. I know that my body freaks out with TOM, but it's hard to see that number of the scale.

Hang in there. Things will improve soon...

Ok. Crisis averted. I'm only 146.0 this morning, even with TOM. I realized that I was planning to do Phase 2 for a week and then move to Phase 3. My calendar came up and reminded me to start Phase 3 today. WHAT? I guess my week has flown by. Of course, I don't have any of the right stuff for a Phase 3 breakfast, so I will shop today and start tomorrow. Time is flying by!!

Default Phase 2 length??

Hey Everyone! I want to say right off that I am a lurker and get great inspiration from reading about all these wonderful journeys. Thank you all so much for sharing your experience! I have lost 23 lbs on Ip (33 lbs total) and am 3 pounds away from starting Phase 2. I want to lose 40 lbs total and maintain there. My question is: how long do most people end up staying on Phase 2? Do most of you do it to goal (like the sheet says) or for a set amount of time? Should i go a little past goal since i will probably gain 2 or 3 lbs back when i reintroduce carbs? I'm really looking forward to Phase 3 and eating more real food, so I'm just curious as to everyone's experience with Phase 2. Thank you!!
