If you all aren't reading the Daily Chat (and why would that be?) then you've missed the fact that JORDANA'S BACK!

I was 165.2 this morning on the fancy hotel scale. Not complaining. Actually intrigued at how close it was to my home scale. I had coffee delivered by room service this morning and requested "a cereal bowl, spoon, and a side of steamed asparagus". I just wrote it on the door hanging card. They did it! I'm in love with this hotel.
Sounds like my type of hotel! I travel a lot for work... Do they have govt perdiem rates??? LOL, enjoy yourself

I use these on the weekend while camping as I drink only water all week They rock, I also enjoy Propel zero... You may have them but like anything with artificial sweetner/color... moderation is key

i made it down to 161 today. i'm hoping to be in the 150s next week!! once i get to 155 i get to go to phase II. 6 more lbs to go! at my rate, that will probably be 3 weeks. i was hoping to be there this week or next week, but my losses have been pretty slow lately. i am still losing lots of inches though, which is fantastic!
Congratulations. I am going to swap to phase 2 while on vacation starting next wednesday. I want to see how I do. The plan is then to move to phase 2 for real when in hit 160. I feel a stall coming on too. I am still weighing in around 165 every morning. the 160s are torture! We are both getting close. Doesnt it feel great?

Oh girl, I feel your pain. I've been at 160 since last Tues. thank you so much for suggesting the "pure protein" vanilla cream. You are so right, it works great in coffee and 1/2 the price of IP. Question, have you tried mixing the powdered version instead of the RTD? It would be a lot cheaper. I'm wondering if it will mix well and be close to the RTD. I put it in my iced coffee for my afternoon snack. I found it at target for 9.95 for 4, and the powder is 19.95 for a huge container.

NSV the past few days. I got back from NY on Thursday. I was bending over doing something and hubby said "wow - your legs look great." He's noticed a lot of things changing in the past week, and keeps giving me compliments... I am still far too critical of myself, but at least I have a sane person in the house who is helping me keep things in perspective. He hugged me this morning and said "keep up the good work, tiny." Awww....

I think all hotels have government rates, but I don't know how much the discount would be... I stay there because it's one of the 5 hotels that gave my company a great deal on room blocks. It's a "mini" room block, so it fills up pretty fast. Hotels in NY are so pricey!! Check out "Hyatt Andaz" on google... I stay at the one on 5th Avenue.

I have not tried mixing the powder. I buy "designer whey" protein for my husband because they make one with Stevia (hubby hates the taste of splenda). I will try that and let you know. I bet if we mixed it with a little coffee first and then mix it with the rest (like making a slurry when you add corn starch to thicken a sauce), I bet it would work really well. I'm still at 165 this morning. GRRR. But TOM arrived early and I'm a total cranky b@#$ch, cramps and all. This diet definitely makes certain girly things worse... On the bright side, I should be done with it before I leave for the beach.

So sorry you're feeling lousy, my hysterectomy was the best operation I've ever had. What a relief! the second best was the breast reduction (2000). Saying that, I will say that this diet has changed my life more than anything else I have experienced.
Thanks for the thoughts on the powder, I wish it came in a smaller container so I can try it before I have to buy it in bulk. I do only use it with iced coffee, so I'll have to try to make the slurry cold also.

Yahoooooooooooooo! BTW, check often at Target. I get the PP Vanilla on sale for $5.99/4 pack. The cookies and cream is AWFUL even in coffee! It tastes like "can" LOL.

Ain't that the truth. Generally my TOM hasn't affected my weight loss too much, but not this month! Was looking forward to a great weigh in this last week, was down 4 lbs, and BAM TOM came the day before weigh in. Gained back 2 lbs. Mother Nature was having a good laugh at my expense this week. No Phase 2 for you!

Note: I know "ain't" ain't a word. Just seemed fitting.

I've seen some brands that do a sampler pack. Spirutein is one of those and they have that at Vitamin Shoppe. I haven't seen designer whey in trial packs, but the small canister isn't too expensive at Trader Joe's.

Congrats! I can't wait to add another dancing cloud guy... BTW, my son saw your swimmers and said "swimming eggs!" He really likes the dancing carrots too.

I am starting to feel better today, but I was 166 this morning which is downright depressing...

I walked into my bed frame the other day, and have a huge bruise on my shin. It was one of those experiences where your brain knows that it's coming and you can feel the world in slow motion as you think "I'm about the slam the crap out of my... OUCH!" Hate that. Wish I could have reacted faster. Oh well... I took advil a few times yesterday and feel generally less terrible today.

I guess I had better get my act together... We have a toddler birthday party this morning. I got a new camera, so I am going to focus on taking pictures of happy kids and not worry about all the junk food.

Then have to get ready to go to Florida for a conference this afternoon. Vacation is almost here!! Can't wait.

Default Chocolate Drink

I'm trying different alternative products this month mainly because I'm broke this month. I bought chocolate premier protein at Sams. It isn't too bad! It also has 30 g of protein, 5 g of carbs, and only 1 sugar. I mixed it with my vanilla cream in my iced coffee and it was like a mocha. I've found that you do have to check the servings per container. Atkins is 4 servings per container, premier protein is 1 serving for 11 oz. I'm going for quantity!

Wish I could find a cheap alternative cereal for breakfast. Going to go with phase 2 strictly this week. 1 lb. to 90% so I might as well get on with life.
