Sam just inspired me to add up my stats, & being that I've been on program for 5 months and I've moved in to phase 2 (taking a break) I figure it's a good time to sum everything up!
From January 18 - June 18 I have lost the following: Weight: -77.7 Lbs
Inches: -54.5"
Neck: -2.25"
Chest: -9.0"
Thorax: -14.5"
Waist: -11.5"
Hips: -10.0"
Thighs: -5" off each
Arms: -2.25" off each

We don’t measure it for my official weigh in but,I measure these areas too and I have lost 6.5 inches off my ribcage (below bust) and 4.75 inches off my shoulders. So, another 11.25 inches. That makes a grand total of -86.25"!!
Where did it all go? We may have to file a missing person's report...
thank you so much the numbers look small to me sometimes, but to look at where i've come from is really motivating. i only want to lose another 2-3 in my waist and 2 in my hips(AND TONS IN MY ARMS) but whatever, i'm over my whole arm phobia, it's in my genes to have bigger arms, i just have to get over it! you know i always think of those songs with people describing 36,24,36 and honestly i don't know where they can find freaks like that, 24 in waist!! holy be-jezus, i could never
carla, i envy you and your waist!!(and your blue eyes, oh what i would give for blue or green eyes..oh well i can't get contacts in if my life depended on it so i'll settle for my poop-browns-as i like to call them) and your booty! mine has become so small, my husband is second guessing this "diet", he misses the big butt a LOT. you are SO almost there on your goal measurements, you'll be there in no time-no doubt. i absolutely love you
Erin! Too Cute! I am not sure some of us will ever be totally happy with our outward appearance. ( I am always too critical!) Your arms are pretty small and they are proportioned to your upper body. Just think of how strong they have to be to lift and carry those 2 beautiful children you have!
Thanks for the "envy".. now YOU just try and find a pair of pants that fits a 26.75 waist and 39 inch hips... GRR! When I was at my biggest difference, I had to buy mostly dresses and skirts and have all my pants/shorts tailored with darts to bring the waist in. I love the shapeliness but hate shopping like that. Maybe, now that booties are more praised, it won't be as difficult. Lately, I am finding it isn't a waist/behind issue buying clothes but my thighs are getting in the way. Not a surprise. I went through school with the nicknames "bubble butt" and "thunder thighs". I guess if someone were to do a caricature of me it would have to be full length to get the effect!
LOVE your eyes! Some of the most beautiful and expressive eyes in the world are liquid pools of dark chocolate! Brown eyes are gorgeous and offer such great mystery and emotion. (Besides, if you love the sun, brown eyes are a bit less prone to cataracts then blue eyes.)

Isn't it interesting that our coaches have us measure a few different, more or less, body parts. I wonder what makes someone choose what to consistently measure.

The song "Brown Eyed Girl" is coming to my mind. Your eyes are sooo beautiful. It is just another instance of how we are so often unhappy with what we have been given. Some days my eyes are green and some days they are blue, no contacts, they just change, I would LOVE to have a brown eye day! Also a brown hair day and a nice olive skin complection day, and a nice ta ta day...on and on, you see what I'm sayin!!

Ok, I have to admit, that I know I shouldn't be, but I'm a little frustrated with my weight loss. I loose about 3.5 pounds a week. I lost 4.2 the first week and about 2 the second, then nearly exactly 3.5 after that. After 5 weeks, I've only lost 17.2 pounds. Does this seem slow to anyone else, considering what big losses others put up?
Ugh, I know I shouldn't be unhappy with it, considering I've never lost that much before, but I sort of am.
Thoughts?
I only averaged 2.5 pounds per week over 19 1/2 weeks. So I think you're doing great. Plus you're not all that big to start with. You're probably not going to lose as fast as a larger person.
