Howdy
Good afternoon ya'll. We have been busy busy busy. But I did get a chance to weight and I am down three pounds. Just water weight but still happy to change my ticker. Looking forward to being out of the 190's soon. I only walked on the treadmill once so far but I did walk outside. Outside doesn't seem so bad now that I have a choice, funny how that works.
I apologize for not having time for replies but I will try really hard to get on tomorrow or Sunday. ((Everybody)) Love and hugs, Crystle |
Chopped some bell peppers up for the freezer today. Have to put up some zucchini today to. I may make some pasta sauce too. I'm getting over run with tomatoes and don't want them to go to waste. Its hot hot here today as usual.
Crystle- Congrads on the weight loss. Even if it is water weight thats great. I would love to be out of the 190's. Mercee- Great going on the blood pressure. What a nice friend to bring you tomatoes and squash. |
Confession time: Tom and I went to an all you can eat Indian buffet. The restaurant is owned by the brother of a lady he works with. The food was really good...we were about the only non-Indians there! I ate WAY too much. Most Indian recipes are overboard on oils or fat, especially ghee or clarified butter. I know I got way more fat than usual. I tasted a couple chicken dishes too, and had some yogurt. So not entirely vegan, but delicious, and I am stuffed to the point of feeling sick!
Its very hot and humid here. If I ever get to feeling better I am going to go get in the pool for a bit.... MERCEE: My sister lives in Oak Park and she has been telling me how horribly hot it is up there! Good thing you can walk on a treadmill and stay out of the brutal heat! TONI: Make gazpacho! I am really enjoying it. Its so easy to make! It makes about three quarts, and is just a perfect snack or cool accompaniment to a meal! |
Howdy
Hello my SB buddies. Working on figs and okra again today. One of my mom's friend has a tiny but very productive fig tree. Eating has been decent. The scales are just mean. Sometimes they are up...sometimes they are down. The plan is to walk on the treadmill later today. The guys put some car mats under the wheels.
Ellen...so glad you had a nice time at the restaurant. I think that a treat once in a while helps us to stay OP. Toni..awesome on your harvest. You can always freeze your tomatoes whole if you have way to many. When you defrost them they slip out of the skins and you can make sauces with them. Solly...congratulations on your weight loss. I bet the scales are right. Mercee...hope you aren't working too hard. ((hugzz)) ((Everybody)) Hope you are having a fantastic Monday. We are already one day closer to the weekend. :dizzy: Love and hugs, Crystle |
Hello- Went shopping and got me a new pair of pants for the wedding we have to go to in Aug. And DH a new pair of jeans. Its surpriseing to find a pair of dress pants around this small town. I was so excited. Eating hasn't been to good and I blame it on my poor choices and the need to grocery shop.
Crystle- Thanks for letting me know about freezeing tomatoes to make sauce. I usually freeze them and throw them in soup. This time I used my Victorio tomato strainer and just made pulp and juice with them. Then cooked it down into pasta sauce. Ellen- Still have to get my stuff for gazpacho, not the tomatoes but the rest of the stuff. The Indian buffet sounds wonderful. |
hi ladies, have to type this in lower case as my DD computer is doing stange things. The party was nicefor awhile. I noticed my knee was stiff around 1:00, to make a long story short, it got to the point where I could not walk at all. They had to carry me to a chair. I wanted to go home and i t took 30 minutes to gt me to my car aftr they moved all the cars and backed it up to me. I went to the ER and they thought I had a blood clot. I had an ultra sound and they gave me a blood thinner in my stomach. It ended up not being a bloode clot but theythink it is a Baker's cyst that ruptured. I have been sitting in the chair all day. But the pain pills are making me sick. I can't eat anything w/o throwing up. If it is not beter tomorrow, I will get a MRI on my knee, Is there anything else that can happen to me?? Yes, I tell you more tomorrow. It is unfortable typing like this.
Crystle, no the scale was not right. I weighed 9 poundd more at the dr. But my DH thought he weighed the same at home as at work on a calaborated scale. Ellen your buffet was a perk. You will be fine. Toni, hope you made it to the grocery. I haven't ate in 2 days and I just tried some saltines. Hope they stay down. Mercee, good job walkin onthe treamill. More tomorrow. |
Today was a frustrating day. I made more gazpacho, and an interesting eggplant curry for dinner. I tried to throw today, but I had a terrible time. I only got one jar done and three lids. Tomorrow, I will try and do a few more jars to go with the lids.
We have to vote tomorrow. I am so sick of all the political groups calling.... SOLLY: Oh, dear! I hope the MRI shows clearly what is wrong and they can fix it easily. You sure have had it rough! Praying for you.... COUNTRY: Thank you for that tip about freezing tomatoes. My counter is full...AFTER making the gazpacho and putting two large tomatoes in the curry! I did not even venture out to look today... TONI: You can put just about anything in your gazpacho! I made another batch today, and left off the celery. I have heard of putting corn in it too! I get organic tomato juice at Publix here. My mom used to use both tomato juice and V-8 juice. Ok, time for bed! Night everyone! |
Hello, folks! Today I have a lunch date with a friend. We are going to Sweet Tomatoes, and all you can eat salad place, so I ought to be ok! :)
I have not tried the new batch of gazpacho yet, but I think it will be my afternoon snack! :) I threw one jar yesterday...I never did get back down there to work again. I was too frustrated. I hope the trimming goes ok today, and I may call my friend who offered to teach me Spanish swear words and ask her to come over and tutor me some! ;) |
Hi Ladies:
Ellen- Your sald lunch bueffet sounds wonderful. I hope you enjoy your date. Solly- Sorry to hear about your knee. I hope it is better today!!! Toni- I can't imagine living ina small town. I sure bet it is peaceful. Country- How's that garden of yours coming along? Well yesterday I worked out with a personal trainer at the gym. It is to hot here to walk outside so I went back to the gym. I was bored walking on my treadmill at home. Usually when I get bored that means trouble. So off to the gym I went and met with a personal trainer. Yesterday we did weights and my upper body and cardio. Today I am going in and walk on the treamill and the eliptical machine. I decided to try something new. I really felt tired but great. Have a great day everyone. |
Hi ladies, still sitting in my chair. I can put some wt on my leg as long as I can hold on to things. I am so bored. If I could do somethingit would be ok, but from bed to chair is so boring. Daytime tv is horrible. My dd and gs stayed with me today. He was in to everything and I was ready for them to go home. I needed a nap. I may try to go to work tomorrow. I figure I can sit in a chair there as well as here I guess.
When I met with my oncologist she thinks I either have a hietel (sp) hernia or gallbladder problems. Is there anything else?? Mercee, it is great that you realize when you are bored with your routine. Getting a trainer is a great idea. I am sure he will work you hard and mix it up for you. Ellen, You lunch buffet sounds good. I may have to get you to teach me those spanish words. Off to explore gallbladder symptons on the net. |
We went grocery shopping today. It was good to stock up on some healthy food things. Then we went to work in the garden of our friends house. I got nice fresh tomatoes, zucchini and cucumbers.
Solly- You must be a very strong woman to go through all you have. I can't believe your knees are keeping you down. And now the rest of it. I'm thinking of you and hopeing you get better soon. Ellen- How was lunch? The salad place sounds wonderful. Hopefully tomorrow will be better with throwing stuff. Mercee- Oh boy a personal trainer sounds great. Hope you do good. I'll sure be glad when its cooler but thats a long way off. |
Good evening
This computer is being a bit of a pain today. I was hoping as the day wore on it would get better but it is being SO slow. Good news is I can at least facebook with the phone. *smile* Walking was fairly good today. We didn't hit the hay until after 3:30 last night so I felt a little worn out most of the day. By the time my niece drug me out for our second walk I was lacking motivation. I did get in almost 3 miles total today so no complaints. The best part of my day was teaching my Niece to make bread. We made sourdough with a little cheater yeast. Adding the yeast allows it to rise in about an hour and is a lighter version that my hubby likes better. It also makes great toast. She also helped me to pick the okra. I made sure to leave a little on the plants so there would be more tomorrow. We'll pick deeper tomorrow so I an skip the next day. We were suppose to plant but I couldn't make myself get it done.
Solly..I am so sorry about your knees and overall health. Praying that you are feeling better soon. ((hugzz)) Hubby and I started on a new blend of oils that are suppose to be good for joints, heart, help with RA, women's issues ect. It is a blend of fish oil, flax seed oil, primrose oil, black current oil and borage oil. Hubby found at Sam's of all places. It is your omega 3's, 6's, and 9's. Mercee...how totally cool to have a trainer. My daughter was using a trainer and they were kicking her young tootie all over the place. I truly don't believe I could do it. Ellen..How did the lunch date go? Toni...super on loading up on the good things to eat. It makes a huge difference. Especially when you get the munchies. I tend to get them when it is past time to eat. I'm working on that but I'm not quite there yet. ((Everybody)) I'm starting to nod off. See ya'll in the morning. God bless, Crystle |
Good morning! I have had my grandson since yesterday late afternoon. Its the end of the semester and both his parents are taking online classes and had finals due last night. I have been throwing ping pong balls for him to play puppy fetching now for an hour! :) I just got him interested in Curious George for a bit. I want him to do something quiet so he has some energy when folks get here for Pool time.
I had a good time at lunch. The restaurant is pricey, but they have great variety. I was able to stick to plan...I think! Well, except for the chocolate brownie square I ate! I know..eggs, sugar, white flour...all things I really should avoid. I weighed this morning. I am down half a pound. After my two all you can eat buffet meals this week, I will take it! I need to go check on the boy. He gets into trouble if he gets bored with the TV show! |
Well I'm sick and sorry I've gained 1.5 lbs. I'm so out of control and having a time of it getting back on. Hopefully this is it and made me so ashamed I'll do good this week. I've got the right things to eat now to get going.
Crystle- Yea for you getting in 3 miles. Thats wonderful. Ellen- A half a lb. is good. Congradulations. Solly- I hope you're feeling better today. And are resting. Mercee- Hows the exerciseing going? |
Howdy
Well weigh in was okay. I stayed the same this week. Ticker is accurate. I got in another day of walking this morning so that makes me happy. About 140 minutes of walking so far this week.
Toni..hang in there. We all struggle with ups and downs. You'll be back on track before you know it. YOU CAN DO IT. ((hugzz)) You and I are close in weight if not the same so we can lose together. :carrot::carrot: Our only option because we want to be healthy. Ellen...awesome on the loss. Half a pound is half a pound closer to goal and you were also able to enjoy yourself some this week. Can't ask for more than that. Wishing everyone else a super weigh in. Love and hugs, Crystle |
Good Morning Ladies:
Solly- I hope you feel better soon. I had my gallbladder removed in November of 2008. If you are in pain from it believe me you will feel better. I hope they find ou what is going on with your knee. I am praying for you. Toni- Hope you get better soon. I hope you've been able to get back on track. You can do it. Ellen- Congratulations on youe loss. Great job. Keep up the good work. Country- Great job getting that 3 mile walk in. I love okra. How did you cook yours. Last week I made cabbage with okra. Well ladies I have been to the gym everyday so far and working out a different part of my body after doing the treadmill with my trainer. I am a litle sore but excited. Have a great day everyone. |
Hi ladies, I did weigh but was up about 6 from last week. I'm not very concerned with that right now. My leg is about 98% back so that is good. Feels like I am sore from working out. Ha-ha, we know that is a joke. Just went to the RA dr and she said RA was fine but the rest of me was a mess. The knee was just like fluid on the knee but in the back of the kneed. She said they normally don't burst. I told her I am not normal. Got some more alarming news yesterday, but not ready to talk about it just yet. Please send up some prayers.
Toni, you will be better to get on track now that you have some food in the house. Just think of bad food as poison. Would you eat poison? Have you been watching the Losing it with Jillian? Wish she would come to my house but I don't want to be on TV. Ellen, Glad you enjoyed your GS time. They can be tiring I know. Congrats on your half pound loss. You are getting closer. I get the results of my sleep apenea test tonight. Can't wait to add that to my list. Crystle, you are doing so good on your walking. Sounds like your niece is pushing you. You could work with a trainer. It is amazing what you can do if you try. I know I really enjoyed it even though they do wear you out. Mercee, good job getting to the gym so much. Mixing it up like that does make it fun. I sure miss going and working with a trainer. I have been starving. I ate a bagel Sunday morning and really didn't eat again until Tuesday afternoon and I can't get full. I work up at 2:00 am just starving. Tomorrow I go for my spine therapy. Have no idea what to expect but hope she can tell me some tyope of exercising I can do. Take care. |
Just passing through...I need to run up to Whole Foods and get some Bach Flower remedy my Chiropractor recommended this morning.
SOLLY: I am worried about that statement about alarming news. I am praying for you, and I hope you can tell me more soon. ((hug)) You know we love you and will be thinking and praying for you.... |
Solly- I will be praying for you.
|
Hello- Just got done having a nice breakfast/lunch of sauteed bell pepper, zucchini, onion, tomato and mushrooms with two scrambled eggs mixed in. It was so good and filling. I've got a cantaloupe to slice up and then I'll have some of it. Eating has been good. Thawing out chicken breasts for tonight.
Ellen- Hope you're having a nice day. Mercee- You rock girl, keep up the good work. Solly- I'm praying for you also. My thoughts are with you.... Crystle- Staying the same is sometime a good thing. |
Good evening
Had another day of walking...that makes four. It has been a LONG time since I've gotten in 6 walks in 4 days. I'm proud of that. I even made the extra effort to hold my arms up during the walk today. Eating was really good except for the sourdough bread. I had two fish tacos for supper. Tomato and okra for lunch and coffee milk for breakfast.
Solly..praying and believing for a reversal of your troublesome news. ((hugzz)) Hang in there. Awesome that your leg is almost back to normal. Mercee...I just cooked it down with a little oil and some onions. The other day I fried it whole. Talk about delicious. Toni..thank you. Your breakfast lunch sounds yummmmeeee. Ellen...howdy Everybody ((hugzz)) Love, Crystle |
Is it Friday already....... Not much going on here. Going to make a homemade pizza tonight. I've got some baby spinach and stuff like that to put on it. Tonight we have to go check the garden. I'll be glad when its all over. The people will be back Monday.
Crystle- Your walking is wonderful... I got the stuff to make a sour dough starter yesterday. Now I have to figure out when to start it. Its such a commitment. Hope everyone is doing fine. |
Hello everyone!
The garden is going crazy! I have been freezing whole tomatoes a few at a time, and its working out great! (thanks Crystle!) Still looking for a car. Tom test drove two today. I hate how high pressure the sales people are at dealers. They wanted $600 to tag and title the car...the other car Tom drove this morning they wanted $36! Off to find something for dinner. Its late...but I am a bit hungry and we have been off car shopping for a few hours. |
I'm going to try and do my tomatoes like you girls did. I've got about 15 that I need to do something with. We're done with taking care of the garden for friends they'll be home tonight or tomorrow. I'm so glad. Hope we don't have to do that again. Hope everyone had a good week end. We just grilled little steaks and shrimp.
Ellen- Hope you find a car soon. Lucky you with a garden going crazy. LOL Off to watch Ice Road Truck with DH..... |
Hello! Its been a lazy kind of day. We went to church this morning, just to find that the baby of a friend of ours that Tom was supposed to assist in the baptism of was sick...so we left and went tonight instead! Which is when we usually go.... We visited a different church this morning. It was nice. Much closer to home...
I got to talk to my friend who is out in Washington caring for her mother. It was nice to catch up. There is a lot going on this coming week. I will be glad when school starts, and life calms down to the 'usual' routine. Whatever that is! :) Time for bed...just took a dip in the pool. It feels nice when the sun is down and the water cools off a bit. |
Hi ladies,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was relaxing. I took off Friday and spent the day at my DD's with the baby and in the pool. Yesterday we babysat and got in the pool. My youngest got home from vacation last night. I missed her and was glad to have her home. Seems like this week is filled with dr appts and therapy. Have to eet with a neurosurgeon tomorrow to see about my back. I am not having surgery but wanted to get a second opinion. Toni, I hope you got to keep things out of the garden for watching it for the people . Your breakfast sounds yummy. Wish I had time to do all that in the mornings. Ellen, there is nothing worse than shopping for a car. I hate it. Hope you find one soon. Guess what. I went for the results of my sleep study. I stopped breathing 55 times in an hour and my oxygen was 84. He said 90 was the limit on oxygen. I am skipping the third level of sleep somehow and my brain just puts me in REM sleep. Since they did not get to wake me up and put a mask on me, I have to do the study again an start off with a mask. I couldn't believe it. He said I should be so tired and I have a lot to look forward to when I get a good ight's sleep. I still think it is a racket. Crystle, you are doing so great with your walking. I am so proud of you. I have to get busy, you are going to get skinny without me. Keep up the good work. Don't you feel so much better? Mercee, how's your trainer doing? Is he killing you? Better get some work going here. I liked the 2 day work week. ha-ha. |
Went for a walk. It was getting hot, so I walked fast so I could get home before it was TOO hot. I just made it! I think! Tomorrow, I will try and go earlier.
I am feeling melancholy today. Its my daughter's 29th birthday. I can't believe that was almost 30 years ago! So far, its been a weird day. I play a Scrabble like game with a few friends on my iPhone...well...one of my friends scored a 191 point word against me this morning! Seriously! Scores are usually around 350 to 400 for the winner, so it was quite a shock! NO way I am going to win this one. I am still not sure how she did it, and another friend of ours swears the scoring can be wonky sometimes... SOLLY: I know sleep studies sound like a racket, but people don't usually go for one unless they are experiencing problems. I have heard of folks going and NOT getting a machine. You may notice some of your health issues improve with better sleep. Many folks spontaneously lose weight. Hopefully you caught it soon enough to be able to reverse any damage. I am afraid I did not. My oxygen levels dropped to the low 70's. The brain area that is damaged first by lack of oxygen is the area that controls blood pressure. My blood pressure has not improved much, but I really think the machine has helped me lose the weight I have lost. I do feel more rested, and don't fall asleep all the time now. So it IS helping... |
Hello everyone. Put a loaf of honey wheat bread in the breadmaker. I don't bake it in there. Just do the dough in there. I have a wonderful cast iron pan to bake it in. Also put some tomatoes on a cookie sheet in the freezer. Chopped and froze some bell peppers. And had a banana, strawberry smoothie. So its been a busy day so far. Thawing out some tilipia for dinner.
Solly- I'll be thinking of you this week as you go through all your appointments. I hope the sleep study helps you. Ellen- Good for you getting in a walk. Hope your day gets better. More to do so off I go for now. |
Hi Ladies:
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I am off work this week. I am going in on Wednesday for training on a new system. Other than that I am off. I was so sore this past week. I worked out 5 days last week and will try for 5 days this week. Solly- I wish you the best with your Dr.'s appt. Crystle- Great job walking!!! Toni- Glad you wre able to get back on track with your eating. Ellen- I hope you find a car soon. Have a great day everyone.( or should I say night.) |
We had a horrific storm this afternoon! It rained from about 4:15 until after 7pm. We needed the rain badly! The lightening and thunder were something else though! WOW! The power went out and was off for five hours. Then it came back up for an hour and went out again! It just came back on. Whew! I was worrying about how I would be able to sleep without my autopap machine!
I cooked by candle light and a lantern tonight. Thankfully, I have a gas cooktop, so I just had to light the burners with a flame thing. I reheated a dal I had made on Saturday, and made some of my new favorite green beans...they are an Indian dish made with coconut, and absolutely delicious! TONI: I am excited about the freezing tomatoes whole idea! I have a large bag in the freezer already and a bunch more to do. Its SO easy! I won't have to buy canned tomatoes for a while! MERCEE: That is too bad that you have to go in to learn a new system on your week off! Yay YOU! Five days working out is inspirational! SOLLY: When do you go in for your titration? (that is the tech term for figuring out the correct pressure for you with the cpap machine...I know I sound geeky! I just LOVE medical stuff though. Wish I had gone to med school or picked a medical field to go into to.) I hope it goes well. |
Good morning ladies. I jut got in from yet another dr appt, this time with a neurosurgeon. I needed to get a second opinion on my disc issues. Surprisingly, he said my neck was worse (more erious) than my back. I have very little spinal fluid in my neck and 2 discs are pushing on my spinal cord. Which is not a good thing. If I have a car accident or fall I could be paralyzed from the neck down. He wants me to have the surgery to fix it. Simple where they go in from the front of the neck. Hardly no recovery time. I went in with the attitue I would never have surgery unless could not walk. Now this has scared me. I can't control a car accident. Need some time to think about it.
Mercee, wow 5 days is great, I am so jealous. Enjoy your week off. I hate learning new systems, especially at my age. Ellen, I don't go for the sleep study, part 2 until the 18th of Aug. They were booked until then. Glad your power came back on. I wouldn't go so far as to cook by candles, I would eat out. Toni, I can smell that bread from here. I haven't used my breadmaker for years. Tried to sell it in a yard sale, but no one wants them. Off to eat some cherries, it is close to lunch and I am starving. That oatmeal didn't last long. Lunch is a spinach tortilla with buffalo chicken. Have a great day. |
Not much going on today. Just had some almonds.
Solly- Thats awful about your neck. I sure wouldn't know what to do either. Its good the recovery time is short. I go awhile and don't use my breadmaker but then get back into it. The bread was sure good from it. Ellen- I've got to bag up the tomatoes today. 5 hours without power is awful. That was good you made the best of it. Your veggies are beautiful on facebook. Mercee- Enjoy your time off.... |
Howdy
Sorry I have been MIA lots going on. Plus I've been a tad of a moody rudey...getting over that. :carrot: Hubby always blames the hormones. I keep telling him not yet. :dizzy: I'm happy to say I did walk both days so far this week. Not that I wanted to..it really has been a push. I even put in an extra five minutes today.
Solly...I am so sorry that you got a yucky report on your sleep study. My mom and sister both got bad test results on theirs. I'm not sure about my other sister. Praying that whatever you decide to do about your neck you will be comfortable and it will be what is best for you. I'm not even close to your weight but I am trying to at least walk. And you did make me smile. Ellen...candlelight dinner sounds nice even if it is because the lights are out. :) I'm so glad the freezing thing is working. I ordered a new book today that is all about putting up foods...freezing, canning, drying and even root cellars. Toni...How did the bread turn out? It sounds yummy. I'm getting tired of the plain sourdough. Mercee..hope you enjoy your time off this week. WTG with working out five days!!! Love and hugs, Crystle |
Today is pool day and my grandson is downstairs watching Sesame Street...I hope he is not getting into any trouble!
I forgot to weigh. I will do so in a few...but since I already ate breakfast and had coffee it won't be 'accurate'. :) Later! SOLLY: Yikes on the neck issues! Best to get it fixed and not wait. What is the recovery like? You said hardly any? Are there risks involved? Is there a reason you have spine problems? Were you in an accident or injured in the past? Praying for you.... |
Morning Ladies:
I went to the DR. yesterday only to find out I have lost 3lbs since July 3rd. It may noe seem like much but I am excited. This week so far I am on track to work out 5 times. I have to admit I think I am getting Addicted. Solly- Sorry to hear about your neck. Ihope you make the best deision for you. I will be praying for you. Ellen- I'm glad your electrcity came on in time. I agree with Solly I would have eaten out. You sure are a trooper. Toni- My girlfriend is a yard sale fanatic. She said everyone she goes to there are lots of breadmachines for sale. Most people told her after they got them they gained 10lbs so they had to get rid of them.LOL Country-Great job getting that walking in. Well ladies I am out of here. Tomorrow I am off to see the dietician. I am taking full advantage of my insurance benefits. Have a great day everyone. |
Hello everyone. I'm happy to report I lost a lb. this week. I'm so glad to be going in the right direction. Thawing out shrimp for shrimp salads for dinner tonight.
Crystle- You're doing great with the walking. Keep up the good work. Ellen- Have fun with that Grandson. Mercee- Yippee on the 3 lbs. I'm trying to take it easy on the bread. And do wheat breads. Oh boy we're getting a little rain right now. |
Good afternoon
It is a miracle, I actually walked before 4 in the afternoon. The best part is I walked 42 minutes. I got in two miles under 32 minutes which is an improvement. I found I can walk 5 miles an hour before needing to jog. My daughter and I were talking about how fast before the need to run. She is shorter but real close in how fast. I think she said 4.8 or 4.6. Don't let me fool ya, I don't walk anywhere near that fast. I average 3.7. I change my speed a lot.
Yesterday I picked 13 pounds of okra. I was so surprised. Some was already woody and I set it aside for seeds. I have TONS of seeds if they don't mold before they dry out. I ended up putting up about 2 gallons of chopped okra in the freezer. I should look it again today but I'm going to wait until tomorrow. My belly is screamin' for some lunch. Probably because I had coffee milk for breakfast and basically a salad for dinner last night. Time to fuel the machine..LOL Almost forgot, looks like I lost nothing again this week. Will check again tomorrow and make it official. Mercee...how neat you are have a dietitian. You'll have to let us know how that goes. Maybe you can get some tips that can help us all. Toni..woo hoo on losing a pound!!!!!! Ellen..hope you are enjoying that grand baby today. Solly...hope you are feeling more encouraged today. ((hugzz)) Love and hugs, Crystle |
Hi ladies, getting ready to leave to go to yet antoher dr. Family dr this time. I will have her check a few things. She is not going to be happy that I have not lost any weight Oh well, too much other things going on right now. I have pretty uch decided to do the neck suregery. But I have to wait on another test result. It may change everything.
Crystle, now that is one big okra! Hope your mood is improving. Good job on the walking. My ticker is way off so we are probley close. Toni, congrats on your lb. Keep up the good work. Ellen, no I was not in an accident, it is just degenerate disc problems, and genetics. Who knows for sure. I think it is one night in the hospital and I could come back to work on a Monday if done on a Friday. Mercee, congrats on the 3 lbs. I guess that wt training is helping. Have a great day got to run. |
Solly- I love that no matter what you are going through you still encourage others. Here's a  for you.
|
Pool day was a bit dull. Only one mom came. She arrived late. We had fun with her two kids, but I was surprised no one else showed up! My grandson fell off the diving board twice while we were swimming. He tripped over a noodle trying to straddle it like a hobby horse to jump in with. The second time, he hit his hip and cried and cried. I about drowned trying to get to him and get him safe. He was coughing and crying at the same time as he came up out of the water. The mom that was here is a pediatric nurse, so I was glad for that, and doubly glad we did not need her expertise. It was just a bad hit and he will have a nasty bruise.
SOLLY: Praying for you. Mercee is right..you are always encouraging others. COUNTRY: Oh, I am SO jealous! I  okra! I have a TON of great Indian recipes for it and next year, I am skipping the zucchini and putting in two rows of okra! |
