Ellen, 2 lbs is awesome.

Crystle, great job on the walking and mowing. That is great exercise. It will all come together for you. Just keep plugging away.

Yeah! my ticker is finnaly right again.

Toni, I am really starting to like Darus. I can't wait to see hime made over. Isn't that soon that they do that?

Solly 04-29-2010 08:37 AM

Just wanted to check in quickly, we are leaving for the track in a couple hours. Sure hope I win a little money. It is going to be a long and busy weekend. The weather is looking horrible for Derby Day. What can you do. I am off tomorrow so I will try to check in on Sunday. Have a great rest of the week and weekend.

CountryMom4Him 04-29-2010 09:15 AM

Good morning

I've been up a bit but I'm not moving yet. Coffee just finished brewing. Thinking of sitting on the porch and enjoying it while I watch all all the critters start there day. There are a couple of mocking birds that are quite the pair as they chase each other. The humming birds are coming around more and more also.

Yesterday was a pretty good eating day. Lunch was a little heavy in calories but good calories. I had a large portion of guacamole with my burrito. At dinner last night I passed on the chicken. I had a few bites of it and that was enough. I added cauliflower to the mashed potatoes to cut down on the calories.

Solly...hope you have a fantastic time at the Derby and that you win. Praying the weather won't be too poor.

Ellen..awesome on losing two pounds. Your sugar numbers will start to come down soon.

Toni...hope you are having a great day. Are you able to get out on that deck yet?

Mercee..you out there enjoying that trail?

Time to get a cup of that coffee.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Mercee 04-29-2010 10:36 AM

Toni- Congrats on your great loss. 1.5 lbs. Are you enjoying your deck yet.

Solly- Hope you enjoy your trip abd have agreat weekend. Congrats to you on 1 lb.

Ellen- Congrats on your loss of 2lbs. Hope your blood sugars start to come down soon.

Crystle- Wow walking and mowing great job. Hope you enjoyed the little critters this morning.

Toni- Hope you are having a great day.

I had a great walk in the woods yesterday. Have a great day everyone.

Toni48 04-29-2010 01:43 PM

Afternoon Buster Buddies. Getting around late today. I stayed up last night till about 3 this morning. So I slept in. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, 1/2 piece toast and some peach mango juice. We're having a break in the weather today so its warm and breezy here.

Solly- I'm sending you a warm day. Hope it helps with the Derby stuff.

Mercee- Loving my new deck. We're using it everyday.

Ellen- I love you're working in the clay again. Sounds like the old you. I'm sitting here having some good Constant Comment tea in the cup you gave me.

Crystle- Sitting here in my chair with a cup of tea and watching the hummingbirds out the window. Hope you're doing good.

Guess I need to get dressed and make a run into town. Have a great day...

Toni48 04-29-2010 06:14 PM

Oh boy I just had a smoothie as an afternoon snack. Yum it was good.

CountryMom4Him 04-30-2010 02:19 PM

Good afternoon

Howdy ya'll. How is your day going so far. Here, so far so good. Kinda being lazy with the cloudy weather. I did do my counter push-ups. I've pulled a muscle that I call my chicken wing..the one between the arm pit and chest. Talk about hurt...oh man. But only while I'm doing the push-ups. I tried a couple of real ones but it way to sore for that. Not sure if I'm gonna try to walk later.

((Everybody))

Toni...aren't they just the greatest? I love my hummers.

Mercee...I never made it outside but did have a super day with my precious grand son and daughter. She made her first loaf of friendship bread and I did eat a piece and a half. I'm weak. :)

Ellen...I love all the recipes you are sharing at facebook. I'm really hoping to try some soon.

Solly...hope you are having a lovely weekend despite the weather.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Toni48 04-30-2010 05:45 PM

Been kind of busy today. Just had a smoothie and will have to go make some spraggetti soon. Since I didn't get it made yesterday.

Crystle- Sorry you hurt your muscle. I need to do those counter push ups.

Have a nice Friday evening everyone.

Ellen 04-30-2010 11:33 PM

Hopping on to say hello! I had Kaeleb today. I went to a Pampered Chef party...of course there was nothing there I could eat, which was probably good. I ordered two kitchen gadgets. I LOVE kitchen gadgets.

Tonight, I made tacos. The filling for mine was made with garbanzo beans and avocado. Sounds weird, but it was actually pretty good!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Toni48 05-01-2010 12:13 PM

Hi Ladies. We had a heck of a storm last night and are expecting more today and tonight. Hope its not ruining Solly's Derby Day. I'm watching my hummers out the window. I've only got a couple but hopefully more will come. I got lots of herbs to plant and stuff but this wet weather is stopping me. Wish I had more of a garden. Guess I'll take out fish for tonight. Maybe tomorrow we can barbecue.

Ellen-I love to hear about your food. You make me want to try different things. I love pampered chef's stuff. I'm a gadget person too.

Hope everyone else is doing fine. Hi Solly, Chystal and Mercee!

Toni48 05-02-2010 09:56 AM

Good Sunday morning everyone. The rain has stopped and I think we're going to have a beautiful day. Sure had a big storm again last night.

CountryMom4Him 05-02-2010 12:48 PM

Good morning

Not a lot going on this weekend. Ate WAY too much yesterday but back on track today. Debating on taking a walk.

((Everybody))

God bless,
Crystle

Ellen 05-02-2010 05:36 PM

Its hot and humid. Tom tried to talk me into going for a walk, but I resisted. I should have, but I was just hot, tired and feeling very lazy. I made sambar and idlies again today. The idlies turned out better this time. It really was a tasty dinner!

The big news is that I am actually firing the kiln! First time in over a year! :o

We need to head out to church, but I wanted to stop by and say hello!

Solly 05-03-2010 09:27 AM

Monday already. Hope everyone is back into the swing of things today.
Weekend was fun, but exhausting. I did not have any winners. My DD did but that was it. Still the company was good, the food was good, and that is important.

It rained all day yesterday and most of Saturday. After dinner it broke a bit and I took the dog for a walk. I got a block away from home and it started raining again. Today is nice and it should be nice for the next 4 days. I had the baby Friday night so that made my weekend. I think I have him one night for the next 2 weekends. I love it.

Ellen, I love PC. Their stuff is such good quality. I think my DD has every thing they make. Dosen't use half of it. Glad to you are firing up the kiln again. I still have my pot you made me right in the kitchen. I think of you all the time.

Toni, I can't believe you didn't have rain yesterday. Glad you are enjoying your deck.

Crystle, hope your pulled muscle is better. That muscle always gets sore when I go to the gym and it hurts when you try to use it.

Mercee, You are going to walk around the world soon. You do such a great job. I hope to start again tonight walking.

Off to get some work going here. I brought my gym clothes and I hope to get to the gym tonight. Have a great day.

CountryMom4Him 05-03-2010 11:30 AM

Good morning

Just finished a fried egg sandwich, delicious. A nice reward for a great walk this morning. Jess and I put in two really hard miles. And before that I had already done 20 of my counter push-ups. I tried some real ones but still not there yet.

This weekend was a bust when it came to eating but the scales were kind to me this morning. Still holding steady.

Solly...sorry you didn't win big but glad you had a super time. How old is your precious grand baby now?

Ellen...awesome on firing up the kiln. There is nothing like going back to something you really love. A couple of weeks ago I went back to shooting my bow and it is so rewarding.

Toni..so glad you had great weather yesterday. We were suppose to get rain but didn't. My garden really needs it. We got a ton in the winter but not a lot so far this spring. Not good with summer coming up.

Mercee..hope you had a lovely weekend.

((Everybody))

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Toni48 05-03-2010 12:20 PM

Howdy ho! Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood. I slept in this morning and still haven't made breakfast. I didn't eat well this week end and have to get to eating good today. Had to much wine. But today is another day.

Solly- Sounds like you had a great week end despite the rain. It will be nice to have a few days without it. Maybe I can get my plants in pots after all. We grilled baby back ribs last night and they were so good.

Crystle- Good for you with that walk and push ups. You're doing great with the exercise. Keep up the good work. I want your egg sandwich. LOL

Better get off my lazy butt and cook some breakfast/lunch.

Ellen 05-03-2010 12:46 PM

Hello everyone! Kiln is cooling... I am anxious to open it. I am afraid there might be a structure crack on a piece for an order that I MUST get done by next week. Praying it came through ok... I have a few more hours before I can check.

Went to water aerobics this morning...I went to the early class which was nice. I need to get into the habit of going at 8...I feel like I have more time if I go early!

Its raining heavily here. Lots of storms last night...got woken up several times by really loud thunder. I have not seen one of my cats today...he is terrified of thunder so I am guessing he is hiding in the garage.

I had a bowl of gluten free O's this morning with almond milk. Just finished up lunch- gluten free English muffin with peanut butter and no sugar added cherry jam, and a bowl of sauteed eggplants and onions. I need to head over to the Indian grocery store to try and find an ingredient I need, then I am making Mulligatawny Soup for Tom for dinner. Not sure what I will have....

COUNTRY: I need to pull my bow out and shoot some too! I think my nice target is ruined from being left out too long...and I need a new face for it.

Toni48 05-03-2010 02:18 PM

Made me a great omelet with baby spinach, mushrooms and green onions, 1/2 piece dry wheat toast and a small glass of OJ. It really hit the spot.

Ellen- I hope everything comes out of the kiln good. Food sounds great. LOL our dogs and cat are scared of the thunder too. Our little boston terrier gets under the covers. We even have to bring the outside dog in. And the cat runs off. I think she gets under our shed. That was great you got to exercise so early. I need to walk on my treadmill earlier.

Time for my soap opera....

Solly 05-04-2010 09:32 AM

Good morning ladies. It is bright and sunny here. Such an upper. I made it to the gym last night. Did about 10 minutes on the bike and then about 25 minutes of upper body weights. Then after dinner, DD & I took the dog for about a mile walk. Won't make it to the gym unless I go late. Baby will be at my house when I get home. I will take a walk after he leaves.

Crystle, my GS will be 10 months this Saturday. He is crawling and pulling up now. I kept him Friday night and Saturday morning about 5:30 am my DH woke me up and he was just standing up in the bed. Not saying a peep. Not sure how long he had been standing there. I'm not sure he knows how to get back down once he is up. Good job on the great walk and pushups. Hope your sore muscle is better today.

Toni, Yum, ribs are my favorite thing. We had tortalini with pesto sauce. It was yummy, but very rich. Tonight is chicken on the grill. Which soap o you watch.

Ellen, hoping your piece turns out ok. You amaze me on finding foods you can eat. I would be so stuck. Good ob on getting to water aerobics. I love working out early.

Mercee. hope you are having a good day.

Better run. Have a great day.

Toni48 05-04-2010 11:35 AM

Good morning. Just had a light breakfast of a piece of pumpernickle toast and a small OJ. Going to lunch with a friend in a bit so I didn't want to over do.

Solly- I watch Days of Our Lives. Have been watching it for years. Can't wait till the Biggest Loser tonight. I want to see those make overs. Your GS sounds adorable. He sounds like he brings you so much joy.

Hello Crystle, Ellen and Mercee.....

CountryMom4Him 05-04-2010 01:32 PM

Good afternoon

Just finished the last sip of my chocolate almond breeze and last bite of Almond fiber bar. That was breakfast/lunch today. I will probably grab a snack later. Maybe some guacamole or avocado. I walked two miles and then mowed for 30 minutes today so I'm very happy with my activity level.

Toni...I am a HUGE Days fan. I've watched since I was a little girl. I took about a one year break but came back. :D I won't get to watch biggest loser until tomorrow but I'm very excited about seeing the changes. Hope you have a great lunch with your friend.

Solly...ten months is such an awesome age. And what a sweet little fella just standing there without crying. So glad you are getting some better weather today. Good job at the gym.

Ellen...how did that piece come out? How cool, I forgot that you shot also.

Mercee...hope you are having a good week.

((Everybody))

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Mercee 05-04-2010 01:48 PM

Hi Ladies:

Just wanted to [pop in we are crazy busy at work this week. All is well with me thanks for asking. When I get time I will go back and catch up on the post. Sorry I can't really talk. Have a great day. I am still walking. I refuse to let anything interfere.

Solly 05-04-2010 02:50 PM

Toni, I watch All My Children. I have watched since almost the beginning. We stay in for luch so we watch it during our lunch hour.

Mercee, hope things slow down for you soon. But I actually would rather be busy than slow. It makes the days go faster.

Crystle, you are doing great with the exercise. I knew you would get back in the swing of things.

As you can tell, it is slow here today. Off to find something else to do.

Ellen 05-04-2010 05:17 PM

Just a quick pass through fly by to let you all know I am thinking about you! I had lunch with a friend down at the market today. Lunch is always an adventure there...lots of weird, and international dishes on the cafeteria line!

Tonight is oil painting. I LOVE Tuesdays. I unloaded the kiln last night. Nothing broke! Now I need to glaze and fire again. Still keeping the ol' fingers crossed there are not any disasters.

 Tomorrow is water aerobics, early, then silk guild, then working on the kiln load...will try and check in sometime though!

Toni48 05-04-2010 05:46 PM

Well I went out to lunch and we tried a new little place that opened in town. There was nothing there to eat healthy. I was disappointed but not surprised. Missouri thinks everything has to be fried or dipped in oil. I did the best I could. Tonight I'm makeing fish so hopefully that will make up for it. I'll just have a salad with it.

Ellen- You are flying with all you're doing. How wonderful. And you're eating so well. I don't know how I could do those great meals you make. That lady was right you need to make a cookbook of all this wonderful stuff you're making. I would be first in line to buy a copy.

Solly- I used to watch All My Children too. But its been a long time. Have a good evening.

Mercee- You're doing great and you are an inspiration on the walking.

Crystle-Wow you did wonderful today. You're really back on track.... Keep up the good work. Did I tell you I love the picture of you and the GS on here.

Off I go. Maybe tea time before I cook dinner.

Solly 05-05-2010 09:04 AM

Good morning ladies. It is another beautiful sunny day here. Hope everyone has good luck on the scale today. It finds me at the same. I'll take tha considering all the eating and drinking since last Thursday. If I can stay the same, just think how much I could lose if I would stay on track!

I did get a mile walk in last night. DD didn't want to go and I almost didn't, but I had a phone call to make to a friend so I did that and walked and the time flew by.

Today is my new doctor's visit. I am looking forward to it.

Toni, it is a shame the new restaurant didn't have anything helathy to eat. Maybe you should suggest it. Boy what a change in Darus last night. Didn't look like the same person. But I don't like his hair when he doesn't style it. That fob in the front when he was working out was ridiculous looking. Michael looked really good also.

Ellen, glad your piece was not broken on the first go around. Hoping it turns out ok. Sounds like you had a busy day and evening.

Crystle, hope you had a good day.

Mercee, you are inspiring me to walk.

If I get back intime, I will check in later.

Toni48 05-05-2010 10:55 AM

Good morning all you buster buddies. Its supposed to be 84 here today. Jumped on the scale and I had gained. But think alot of it is water weight my hands are swollen this morning so I'll take a couple water pills today and see what happens tomorrow. Going to get a hair permanet this afternoon. Had fish last night. This morning is oatmeal.

Solly- Good for you staying the same. I'll be thinking of you today with your new doctor. I hope he does good for you and you like him. They all looked so good after the make over but I hate they cut Sunny's hair. And you're right about Darius's poof. Michael's hair looked so much better. I hated to see Sam go but think it was the right choice.

Hey to the rest of you ladies. Good luck on Weigh in Wed.

Mercee 05-05-2010 12:40 PM

Good Morning Ladies!

I am looking forward to my walk today outside. It looks like rain outside. Maybe by the evening It will clear up. If not I will have to hit the treadmill. I stayed the same this week. I will just keep walking and I will keep monitoring what I eat. Have a great day everyone. I will try to get later.

Congrats to all the losers today. Keep up the good work.

Solly 05-06-2010 09:18 AM

Good morning ladies,
Another beautiful day here. Afraid it is the last though Rain tomorrow and very cool for the weekend.

I really liked the doctor. She thinks alot of my problem is my meds. She wants to me get off the Lyrica and she put me on Cymbalta. She said it is good for neuropathies and can also help you lose wt. She gave me 2 diets to follow, I can pick. One is a low carb-low fat plan and the other is a 1300 calories flexible diet. She also said she thinks I have sleep apenea :fr: Since I snore, and very fatigued, and she could not see down my throat. She said that was a sign. I will go to the consult but I am not 100% sure of doing the sleep study. I haven't decided on which diet to follow. I like the idea of drinking protein shakes for meals as I hate to find things (healthy) to eat for breakfast and lunch. But I hate to totally give up fruit and dairy & pasta. My friend did the low carb and she has lost a lot of wt. I just keep thinking of Atkins. I may try it for ahwile and switch after a month or 2.

Toni, I agree, I really liked Sam but is was the right choice. Michael has so far to go. Hope that water weight is gone today. I totally know where you re coming from.

Mercee, I hope you got your walk in before the rain. I was going last night but the baby stayed until 8:30 and then I had to run to get a bunch of cards and then it was dark and my DD did not want to walk and I did not want to walk by myself.

Crystle and Ellen, hope you are having a super day.

Heading to the gym tonight. Don't have a clue what's for dinner.
Have a great day.

Toni48 05-06-2010 11:33 AM

Good morning. Just had a peanut butter and sugar free apricot jam sand. on a bread round. Tasted good for breakfast for a change.

Solly- I'm so happy you liked your doctor. It will be a nice change to change the way you're eating. It sounds so hard to give up dairy, fruit and pasta. But maybe for the short term. I'm with you I have no idea what to cook for dinner.

I'll check back later.

Ellen 05-06-2010 01:05 PM

Hello, Ladies! I actually did remember to weigh yesterday..but never got the chance to come here and post. I gained a pound. I am not discouraged.....yet. :) I will give it another week and see what happens. I think I need to be a bit more vigilant to the low fat idea. Other than that, I don't think I am doing any bad eating. Or even too much. My appetite is just not as voracious as it used to be. Most of my cravings are gone too.

I have the glaze kiln cracked and will go down in about an hour and unload it. I peeked inside, and the top shelf looks ok. Its hard to tell until you pull the stuff out and handle it and see the bottoms.

SOLLY: Why don't you try a vegan diet? :) You can eat gluten so it would be easy. Its really not that hard! And you can fix a pot full of a dish and have leftovers for another meal. Seriously...a salad with garbanzo beans, or chili, or hummus..or wrap the mashed beans in a tortilla, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, etc. .... I did Atkins, and honestly, I think it screwed up my metabolism. Research is showing that intracellular fat causes insulin resistance, which leads to diabetes, so be careful of the fats. Anyway, don't hesitate to go for the sleep study. Its a pain for one night...and if you are not sleeping well, and you use a cpap, the difference is amazing. I was waking up four and five times a night and going potty. Come to find out, that is not normal!!! Now I might wake up briefly at 4, but I go right back to sleep. I am slowly feeling more energetic, and rested. I am just worried I waited too long to go for the study. Tom nagged me for years, and if your oxygen levels drop too much at night, brain cells can die. Supposedly the first to go are those that control blood pressure from the spikes the apneas cause. Not sure if the ones I lost will ever be replaced. My O2 levels were very very low at night...like 70's instead of high 90's. My blood pressure has improved a little, but not as significantly as I had hoped.

TONI: You are sweet to say I should write a cookbook. As far as I know, there is only one vegan gluten free one out..so maybe there is a need.

MERCEE: What an inspiration you are! I love your attitude about just keeping on and results will follow! I think that is key to be successful. In the past, I would get discouraged, and then fall off the wagon for a few days, then try and get back on track. I need to get back to walking on the days I am not swimming. Once we get the pool opened, I will be able to swim every day.

COUNTRY: Good for you shooting! I need to. It would be good for my upper body muscles...especially my shoulders and back. Guess I will go looking for my stuff as soon as I get passed the next week and all the stuff I have to do! I have an order for cookies on sticks! :yikes:

Solly 05-07-2010 12:42 PM

Good morning ladies. That goodness it is Friday. We have a busy weekend ahead. I have to go to Lexington for my great niece's birthday tomorrow and can only stay a short time as we have a graduation party at 6:00 and we are keeping the baby since it is my DD's anniversary. Not sure of our plans for Mother's day yet. I am sure it will involve eating out or me grilling out. My oldest usually plans it but this is her first Mother's day also so I don't feel like she should have to fool with it.

We have to start looking for a car. My lease is out in June and I am not sure I want to lease again and I don't know what we can afford. Nothing worse than car shopping, maybe insurance shopping.

Toni, your breakfast sounds yummy. Hope you enjoy your Mother's Day. Is your son still in Iraq?

Ellen, I actually think most people have sleep apenea if they snore. But I don't think mine is that bad. I guess I will go to thye consult and see from there. I'm not sure what you can't eat on a vegan diet other than meat. What about fish? I can't wait for the pool season either. I am more than ready for it. Have a great Mother's day.

Crystle, a Happy Mother's Day to you also. I am counting my blessings for sure. I have been blessed with wonderful children and a beautiful grandson.

Mercee, I can't seem to remember if you have children, but if not, have a happy Mothers Day just b/c you are a special woman and such an inspiration.

Oh, I did make it to the gym last night and then walked for 30 minutes with the dog. I can hardly get up and down today. My rear is so sore from the squats and lunges.

Have a great weekend everyone.

CountryMom4Him 05-07-2010 12:57 PM

Hey Hey....((hugzzz))

Happy Mother's Day ladies. I have been crazy busy visiting my family this week. We have really enjoyed catching up and even made some bibles study time last night. I feel so full and so blessed. The fullness besides joy may be all the goodies we've had together. :dizzy: I'm up a couple of pounds but I'll get back on track after this weekend.

((Everybody))

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Toni48 05-07-2010 01:17 PM

DH got me up early and we went out to breakfast. That was so fun. Eating wasn't that great but it was my choice so I'll deal with it. We're going out for Chinese on Mother's Day. Enough said. LOL

Solly- You're doing good with the exercise. Sounds like a busy week end for you. Enjoy your Mother's Day.

Crystle- I'm with you I'll deal with it after this week end is over. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.

Ellen- That's good about your appetite is better, I've noticed that in me too. Bet you'll have a good Mother's Day. Enjoy your day.

Mercee- Enjoy Mother's Day. Hope you're doing fine.

Toni48 05-09-2010 09:24 AM

Happy Mother's Day.... Hubby is taking me out to lunch. Hope everyone has a great day...

Ellen 05-10-2010 12:52 AM

I should be in bed, but I have a large cookie order for Tuesday and remembered after I got in bed I had to refrigerate the dough, so I got back up and mixed it up. Then I got to thinking....

SOLLY: Don't you have RLS? That is another symptom of sleep apnea. I only get it now when I don't sleep well, which is not very often - in fact, I had it Friday night after I could not fall asleep and only got 5 hours of sleep, but that is the first time since I got the cpap machine that I have had it. Something to think about...

I had a nice day. Tom made me breakfast in bed, a nice mug of espresso, he warmed up the leftovers from last night's meal (Indian stuff we had with friends) for lunch, and cleaned the kitchen. My one daughter text messaged me, the other called and my son called tonight. It was a nice quiet day.

Tomorrow will be crazy busy, and I will stay that way until Thursday morning, so if I am not around until then, I apologize in advance!! :)

Solly 05-10-2010 08:55 AM

Hope everyonehad a wonderful Mother's Day. The girls and I ran errands all day. We went to breakfast after church. Later in the evening we went to dinner.

I have something every nght this week. It is going to be busy and non stop. I know I won't make it to the gym unless I can get up at 5:00 and go which hasn't been happening. There won't even be time for evening walks. I believe theya re calling for a lot of rain this week so I probably don't have to worry about walking outside anyway. We have a rehearsal dinner which are helping work on Thursday and then a wedding on Friday and 3 graduation parties on Sat. Plus we will be keeping the baby Sat night.

Ellen, yes, I have RLS. It has been better lately but some nights it is horrible. Hope your cookies turn out wonderful, which I am sure they will.

Crystle, glad you had a nice weekend with your family. That's what it's all about.

Toni, Sounds likeyour DJ pampered you all weekend. How nice. I hear you are supposed to e getting bad storms today. I hope it is not close to you.

Well, I have better get going. All the men hear are moody today. Makes for such a pleasant work place. I have lots to do today. Have a great day.

Mercee 05-10-2010 11:23 AM

Good morning ladies!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! I had the busiest weekend of my life I think. Friday after work, I had to go with my husband to his graduation reception and Staurday was his graduation and a dinner party I gave for him afterwards.( He received his second Masters Degree) Sunday I got some wonderful gifts and cards. I was to tired to go for dinner so we went for breakfast after church, I am going for my dinner next Sunday. I was to tired to wait for 2 hours at my favorite resturant.

I can't wait to walk his evening after work I need to relieve this stress. Walking really calms me and makes me feel refreshed.

Solly- Try not to overdo it even though you will be busy. Please take care of yourself. Sometimes as women we just go and go and go.I am glad you enjoyed your day yesterday.

Hi eveyone. I had a horrible night sleeping and on top of it all we had a storm. So I slept in this morning. I'm still having a nice cup of morning coffee that DH made. Mother's Day was so nice. I ate from the buffet so it wasn't legal eating. Also stopped and got a nice big tomato plant at the garden center. That makes me three tomatoes in containers so I'm all set along with my herb plants. This rain will make them all happy.

Ellen- My goodness what a busy week you have going for you. So good you had a nice peaceful Mother's Day. My kids all called too.

Solly- Well I hate to say but we're getting lots of rain. Its just pouring now. Wow are you going to be busy too. Hope you get a little break in between. But it is fun to have lots to do. Sorry the men are moody. That makes it so uncomfortable.

Mercee-Congrads to your husband on getting his second Master Degree. Get that walk in..... May try for my treadmill today.

Crystle- Where are you? Did you have a good week end?

Well with everyone so busy its hard to think about your weight. But be sure and take a little you time.

Good morning ladies.

Anyone take Cymbalta? I started it yesterday and boy am I nausus. Don't ko if it is that or the potassium but I wouldn't think that would make me sick. I normally have an iron stomach and nothing bothers it. I was a little quesey on Sunday before I started it, so maybe I have some type of bug. I really wanted it to work for my neuropathies so I could get off the Lyrica. I think I will try taking it at bedtime tonight to see if that helps.

I did get about a 1/2 mile walk last night. Before we left I took the dog for a short walk. Better than nothing. Tonight we hae to meet with the leasing agent on my car. Still don't know what we will do.

Toni, I heard you had some bad storms your way. It is raining here today and cool. I am so ready for warm weather and no rain. I didn't sleep well last night either. Actually I slept well, just took me forever to go to sleep.

Mercee, Congratulations to your DH. That is a nice accomplishment. My oldest has 2 masters. I keep wanting her to get her doctorette but she says it won't bring here more money so she is done.

Crystle, don't make me come looking for you on FB.

Ellen, How did your cookies turn out?

Got to run, we have a presentation on Friday and of course, no one is working on it yet. URGH!!! So frustrating. Have a great day
