Barre sounds so good! I'd never heard of it, though I know what a barre is. Looks like fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJTI0Ms2NdY

As a mother who breastfed three children, I'm curious as to how you manage to lose weight? I always took pregnancy and breastfeeding as a license to eat, and was up to 230 pounds or so at one point!

Hungerwerks- I actually am not sure, LOL! During pregnancy I gained about 30 pounds (and I live in Japan where that was considered almost too much!) but stayed active walking, and the day after birth I lost 10 pounds, and within a week another 10... All the while eating whatever I wanted basically but making sure to get in my veggies and healthy natural food for a healthy baby! I guess breastfeeding plus having not a lot of time to eat Is why I'm slowly losing weight now...not trying too hard, that's for sure!

I gained a HUGE amount of weight with the 2nd pg. About 30 with the first. But was able to lose up to a certain amount with calorie counting (higher amount) along with bf'ing. I'm still trying to work off those last 15 pounds, 4 yrs later!
I can't say my OB/GYN didn't warn me about overeating....but I was totally out of control! Like some foreign being took over (His name was Luke)

128 today....hoping these couple of pounds from the last few days drop off quickly!

I love the time before the vacation almost as much as the vacation itself! The anticipation is delicious - and non-fattening. Keep up the good work, Skittles!

129 been hanging there for a while so I'm moving to this thread. I really just want to be here and I'll be good so I can stay here.

I want to take up some sort of exercise because when I was at goal weight before I was heavy into dancing and my muscles were all toned up.

The closest gym is 15 miles away and I can't get there in bad weather. I could buy a second hand treadmill but I really don't have room for it. There is a place here in town that has equipment with those pull cords. I do have some hand weights at home. I'm just not sure what to do. Or, what I can do?

@Dynxagain - I sometimes do FitnessBlender workout videos @ home. They are free. Just look at them online. You could listen to your own music. I purchased the 8 week fat loss program videos...still inexpensive. Just a thought.

Dynxagain, I'm glad you're here. Sometimes I wonder if I am welcome on some of the threads, but, from what I understand, we can go anywhere we want on here. You add a lot of sunshine to a thread!

Been stuck at 124.
Weather has been crazy.
Stuck indoors. No motivation to workout in my apartment.
But keeping busy with home projects.

Kifli Thanks for the Fitness Blender tip There were so many listed there. I still haven't picked out the one I want yet.

Hungerwerks-Your pix are why I decided to start doing exercise. "You add a lot of sunshine to a thread!" Thank you, for the kind words.

I have been reading a lot of stuff on here. You have a group of diabetes and an over 50 group, phooey, my kids are in their 50's

I'm not real sure I will be able to find some exercise that I can do. I have a handicap plates on my car from COPD. But I did quit smoking and I can breathe a little better unless it's an allergy problem day. I can't stand or walk real good yet either. But, I think exercise will help me to be able to do more.

I was just wondering how you were doing, after seeing another post of yours. I consider the scale not going up a triumph!

I'm not exercising either, at least today. But I did realize one shocking truth: I like exercising more than house/office work! I think I've actually changed somewhat, because I used to hate it.

Hope your weather clears up soon!
