Leaving for NYC this for Easter w-e. I did 2 work out a day to make sure I did as much as possible.. I'll be starting the second half of phase 2 next Monday. I won't be able to workout this w-e but I plan to watch my diet and walk as much as I can. Hope this won't change the outcome of the program :-s.
I understand about Easter w/e my mother and sister are trying to cook all foods that have butter or sugar and just calories calories calories in them. What I think is so funny is after everybody get full and stuff they will make their Monday committment of starting on their diet Monday I don't know what makes Monday different from any other day but I just listen. I am doing the jmr system from the beginning because of a flop last weekend but for flopping I included ripped in 30 days after jm body revolution making a hour of jillian and it's hard and makes me not want to cheat anymore I know a salad will be included in the big dinner and some baked meat so I will stay within my diet plan but i will remember what jillian said while the butter pound cake is being sliced "what you are doing this for and hold on to it"
pray for me because the food is good
last night i was invitied to a birthday party held by a 92 year old woman at a steak house before going i did jillian work out 2 and the cardio 1 plus that morning i did a hour on the treadmill and ate low carbs all day to my surprise all that working out made me more committed to not eat wrong because it was hard and i ate bake chicken, sweet potatoe, and spinach yea!!!! i can do this thing
Finished wrkout 6 2day. I'm still not fully recovered from being sick but I'm alot better so instead of doin a dble wrkout 2day. I'm just guna do cardio 2 2mrw. Then do my new wrkouts startin Mon.
Just ordered body revolution! Can't wait for it to arrive - I've been doing Ripped in 30 for about 2 months (alternating workouts after making it to week 4). Ready for something new.
I'm going to be moving in about 3 weeks - it better arrive before then (shipping to Canada). Perhaps not the best planning on my part... haha.
From July 2011 until January 2012, I have been on Nutrisystem faithfully and lost over 70 pounds. I credit losing that much weight because of Jillian Michaels. I started off with her 30 Day Shred and got through all 3 levels. I was so proud of myself. Then, I decided to purchase some of her other DVD's and wasn't dissappointed. I also incorporated weight training 3x a week and did JM's 4x week.
The last several months I have been encountering some of the most stressful times of my life. I have also allowed myself to gain 25 pounds, which I'm not happy about, but as of today I am restarting my workouts and eating plan.
I just ordered Body Revolution last week and I am expecting delivery by the end of the week. A couple of questions:
1. What does her food plan look like? How many calories? Can you give me a sample day along with quantities of what you are eating?
2. I keep reading about AM/PM workouts. Is this every day? And how long for each workout? 1/2 hour?
3. Does she rotate cardio days with weight training days?
I'm really looking forward to receiving this program. Thanks in advance
JerseyPAGirl: I am not following the meal plan closely. If you look at the meal plan when you get it the breakdown is roughly 1200-1300 calories daily: 250 for breakfast 400 for lunch and dinner & 150 for your snack. The snack is to be eaten between lunch & dinner. I do more calories for breakfast but less for dinner but still stay at the total for the day. The am/pm workouts are optional. The rotation when you start is workout 1 Monday workout 2 Tuesday cardio on Wednesday then repeat. Each one is 1/2 hour. You can do the cardio everyday if you wanted in addition to the regular workouts. (you have one rest day per week). I hope this helps. I'm sure you will love the workouts. They go by quick and you don't feel like you are doing them alone. (I used to hate working out and with BR now I love it!)
ASUDS: Thanks so much for the quick break down. Much appreciated
My concern about Jillian's meal plan is that right now, I currently eat 6 times a day (small meals). Breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack, dinner and evening snack. It keeps me from being hungry as well. I consume 1400-1500 calories daily. I averaged a total of 12 pounds loss per month; doing Jillian's other DVD's 4x week and weight training 3x week. I really enjoy Jillians DVD's because they challenge you. I feel if you are going to work out, you need to continually challenge the body for continued weight loss and muscle growth.
