Default Finally!!

I finally got my JM Body Revolution kit today, I've been trying for about a month now to order it but they were on back order and then I didn't have the right type of card but anyways it's here and I will begin on Monday; kinda fits since it's the beginning of the month
I'm so nervous, I know the hardest part for me will be the diet plan but I have to make these changes in my life or I won't achieve my goals. I've been weening myself off of soda and sweets, my two weaknesses, for the past two weeks but I have to go cold turkey on Monday. Any suggestions for a sweets addict?
Also, I've been drinking more water but I get bored easily with water and I was wondering what everyone else drinks besides water? I like gatorade, I drink the low-calorie kind and it's been helping me get off of sodas.
Thanks!

I was listening to one of Jillian's podcasts the other day and someone asked this question on how to get off soda. She said you have to quit the soda cold turkey but not the caffeine. You can have I think it's 400 mg of caffeine per day so you can get it in coffee or tea. She said to get some unflavored sparkling water and put just a splash of fruit juice in it. This is a struggle for me as well but if you can go one day then shoot for two etc. She said do it for 30 days and you won't even like the taste anymore. But she said DO NOT cut the caffeine cold turkey or your head will split open! I'm starting Phase 2 Monday. Hang in there! It's hard but so worth it!! Also try putting Mio in your water. It has no calories & makes your water taste so good. Also try drinking it very cold. That helps me.

I haven't heard of anyone that has lost that much. I think you lose more inches than pounds in the first phase. On the Facebook page I saw one lady hadn't lost any pounds but lost 17 inches. I have lost 5 lbs and 7.5 inches in the first phase. I have been sticking to the calories that she suggests but not following her diet plan exactly. Some people do 2 workouts in one day and I have not done that either. Im sure you will lose more if you do that. I have an old injury and I was trying not to aggravate it by doing two in 1 day. (I do also remember reading on the FB page that someone said you lose more inches in phase 1 and lose more pounds in phase 2. I don't know if that's true but I hope so.)

Thank you! Yea I can usually go about two days without a soda but then I start to crave it like crazy and get plenty of headaches. As far as caffeine goes, I'll have to figure something else out because I don't like coffee or tea. I look forward to 30 days from now lol! I remember when I stopped drinking regular sodas and started drinking diet a few years ago, now I can't stand the taste of most regular sodas, too much sugar! I do like water, especially ice cold, I just get tired of drinking the same thing everyday.

Hi guys I'm back. This past week I went to Texas and just came back last night. I was able to run, but did not do the DVD's, my laptop cd didn't work I did my best to eat healthy and to stay with in 1200-1500 calories, but there were days that I ate way too much.
I decided to start all over again, so I will be starting phase 1 tomorrow

Some of you were asking how much did we lose in phase 1. I lost 10lbs and pretty much all of them were during the first 2 weeks. I did stick to the calories she suggested but didn't follow her menu 100%. Most of the time exercise twice (her dvds and added some sort of cardio like running and the elliptical) Did not measure myself at the end of phase 1, but did lost 1 size pants
During 1st week of phase 2 did not lose any lbs, however my stomach looked much slimmer and I felt much stronger.

I don't have any vacations or small trips planned now until July or August, so I will be focusing on this and hopefully be able to stick to plan 100%

I'm starting week 4 this week. I lost a total of 5 lbs the first two weeks. I haven't seen much change in the scale since but I have lost some inches. 2 inches in my hips, 1 inch in my belly and then 1/2 inches on my arms, legs, neck. I also lost an inch in my bust.

I was so disappointed last week because I felt like it wasn't working, but after measuring myself and seeing I've lost some inches I'm ready to get back on track!

Thumbs up

Awesome! I started yesterday, April 2nd, also and it was great! It makes me feel more energized throughout the day and I can focus a lot better in my college classes and when I do homework. I honestly feel like a totally different person then I was on Sunday lol.
I'm doing the Kickstart Your Metabolism and trying to follow the meal plan as close as I can within my budget. The cardio really kicks my butt, though that may be because I have asthma and haven't needed to use my inhaler in awhile lol. But so far I'm really satisfied with the program and I can't wait to see the end results!
