The plan is very easy. It's a 6 days a week plan. You have 3 phases of 4 weeks each. Here is an example of the first week:
Monday: Workout1
Tuesday: Workout2
Wednesday:Cardio1
Thursday: Workout1
Friday: Workout2
Saturday: Cardio 1
Sunday: Rest

All the workouts are 30 minutes and very enjoyable. You also have a meal plan with the program but I don't follow it.

Hope this can be helpfull!

I don't follow the meal plan either unless it may be a snax listed but that about it. So I weighed in this morn since yesterday I completed wk 1 and 2day is my rest day. I'm down 4.6 lbs just from wk 1. Can't wait to see wat wk 2 brings me.

Mahora, I just make sure I eat about 1200 no matter how much I exercise. I might go a bit higher one or two days, but do not exceed 1400 calories.

jmfan317- congrats girl, good luck next week!

I weight in this morning and I'm down a total of 8lbs now I'm moving to week 3.

For example, I start my day with 1200 if I burn 300 calories, my journal says I can eat 1500. My questions is do you eat only 1200 calories no matter how much you exercise? Thanks for the help!
I don't think exercise is a factor because we burn different calories. Your journal says you can eat 1500 because its subtracting the 300 calories from exercise leaving you with 1200. I would not eat only 1200 no matter the exercise. Even 1200 is too low. If you exercised like I did on friday and burned 600 calories, that leaves only 600 for my body to use throughout the day if sticking to 1200 a day calorie allotment.

So this is my first post. I started Jillian's plan yesterday. Workout 1 was a beast. My shoulders are sore, but it feels good to work out. I can't wait to start losing weight and getting healthy.

Default Started Body Revolution Yesterday

Started Jillian's body revolution yesterday and I am feeling pretty good. The diet is hard for me being I'm very picky and don't like much of the food choices, but I'm doing it Anyhow know whether or not you can drink anything besides water?

I missed yesterday's workout. I'm guessing because of recovery time that I can't make up the workout I missed which was workout 1. Tonight I did workout 2 for a calorie burn of 529 calories. I used 8lbs for all moves. Last time I dropped the weight doing the step ups in the last circuit. This time I held them. Cardio day tomorrow!

Heart rate monitor. You set it up with entering your weight and your max heart rate. It calculates 4 zones and tells your heart rate in each zone and the total amount of calories burned. I went on sparkpeople (that's the website I use to log my food/workouts) to see what exercise came close to my calories burned today and 41 minutes aerobics high impact was 479 and if you use 35 minutes for circuit training bootcamp it came to 468. So you could use a site like this and the timeframes to get a guesstimate of your calories burned for your workout.

Tonight was cardio 1 and 476 calories burned. I really pushed through with every circuit. Even the punch outs I held a continuous squat even though it wasn't scripted for that move. My little bonus move.

I think I'm gonna tack on another week of this format before moving to week 3. Mainly because of the weight loss in moving forward.
