I'm going to exercise tonight because I haven't done it since before I went on my trip last week...so it's been a good two weeks. I constantly feel like crap and what my DH is doing to me seems like it's going to kill me. So darn it, I'm going downstairs tonight rather then reading a stupid self help book and running my a$$ off!
Because I exercise every day, no ifs, ands, or buts.
Because it's several hours during which I won't be eating (I stop eating one to two hours before I hit the gym, then no eating while I'm at the gym).
Because it's time that I have to myself, during which no one can make any demands of me and I am doing something just for myself.
Because I have such cool songs on my iPod and the only time I get to listen to them is when I work out.
Because I like the way all my muscles look.
Because I like the way I feel about myself when I've completed my workout for the day.
Thank you, BlueToBlue. I am going to step AWAY from the computer and go exercise right now for all of the above reasons! (I don't really like the way my muscles look, but maybe soon.)
I am going to exercise tomorrow - because even though I did not make my timed goal today - I still did over 3 miles (3.13 to be exact)! I am so excited about that !
Now, I just have to keep it up so I can make my February goal.
I exercised today because I was looking forward to my Body Pump class, a great way to kick off the day! And because I only need a few more stars on my calendar for a reward (little gold stars for each day I work out ).
I am exercising today because I always feel fabulous after I do!
Maybe you're not doing the right activity for you. There are so many ways to exercise beyond the basic. Think about what you like to do physically that makes you lose track of time. What atmosphere do you like to be in? Do you like it quiet or noisy? Walking is great, but I hate walking a track in circles. So, I walk a treadmill, walk around a neighborhood or lake, hike etc.
Just think that everyday you do it, you are toning your muscles to burn calories for you so that you are going to lose that weight faster!

I will excercise today because I need to rev up my metabolism if I want to lose my extra weight. One day off will lead to a few days off and that will be the end.
Today is a Great Day for a Run, {on the threadmill, that is..} maybe I will challenge myself, see if I can beat my time, and increase my distance, from my Tuesday Run!! Hey, that will mean 4 solid weeks of smiling stickers for you!
