Jacqui_D Way to go on your low!!!! Also, i think the analysis you did of the weekly max and min's is a great metric! Good info to have!
Tuscany Thanks for the woosh prediction on my part - you were right on the money. I am predicting that yours is imminent!
Minneey I hear you regarding the Chinese food tonight! I'm sure you will choose well. Try the trick i learned this week to eat some fruit before going out to eat - It helped me control my appetite and enjoy a small amount of the good stuff!
I have two Thanksgiving dinners (1 Saturday and 1 Sunday) to get through this long weekend but am also planning my gym time and running time to minimize any regressing!
Turtle: Dear Pound #161: Get lost! You are not wanted. Go and find a new home with someone who’s looking for a few extra pounds and stop annoying Turtle! Oh yes...AND...Dear Pound #160: You’re next… start looking for a new home…
Jacqui: Good job getting to a new low AND for getting to over 25 lbs in total losses!
Joy: Yeah…but that was just the baby whoosh fairy. The baby needs extra practice, so she needs to visit a few times in a row!
Woodstock: Yippee…the 140’s…I’m so happy for you! All of your exercise and hard work is paying off!
183StGB: I’m glad you’re able to go back to running so soon after having your wisdom teeth removed…and thanks for your kind words!
I have always been apprehensive about daily weights because of the "little" variances, which are not always little at all Funny how I can practically starve myself and the next day show good sized weight gain, and like you and others have mentioned many times, having a "cheat" or slight binge day, expect a big gain the next day but instead are greeted with a good sized loss
Makes us wonder.
I started doing the daily weigh in's on Sum's daily weigh in challenge just for the heck of it and having fun with it. My starting weight for this month was 248, and I hit that again day after the following weeks weigh in of 246, hitting 248 again the very next day.
I have hit a high during these 11 days of 256, which is up 2 lbs from my start weight of 248, and this morning my weigh in on the daily weigh in was a startling low of 240. This evening it is up to 246 again, but I expected that as I always weigh about 6 lbs heavier later in the day. I have three days to go for the weigh in on this challenge.......... Wonder if it will go down further or go back up?? LOL any guesses??

PS ALL of you are doing great And thanks again for that double method Jacqui, I am going to try to use some form of it myself, hope I don't complicate it too much for me to understand it
Down .8 pounds this week. Not much but Ill take it. I now am at 233.9. This last few months I have been noticing a trend. One week I will have a minimal loss/gain and then the next week I will have a huge whoosh. Has anyone seen this before. Im sure I am not the only one that this has happened to. I also now am no longer morbidly obese. I am just obese
Jacqui Awesome numbers!!! You are doing sooooo well!!
Turtle The whoosh fairy should be there soon. I sent her your way after she came to me last week. Hang in there!!
Thanks everyone for sending the whoosh fairy my way. She seems to have visited, I hope she'll stick around for another day!

Hi you guys,
I'm totally lacking self control at the moment, I'm constantly hungry. Although I think I simply enjoy the chewing motion.
I went to a pumpkin exhibition today (Germany's biggest pumpkin)--
Highlight of my year!! It's so easy to get me excited, haha.
Just a quick one today... Feeling a bit guilty after making mac n cheese and apple crumble for dinner. Tomorrow's weigh in is not looking good! The battle for weekend willpower continues!

I was down half a lb today to an even 185! Only 2 more lbs to hit goal this month! Of course, today is cheat day, so those lbs will have to wait just a bit, lol!
Amanda, congrats on moving out of the morbidly obese category!!! What a milestone!
Minneey, don't be discouraged. Look at your overall numbers! Maybe a weekend spurge is working for you!
BFR, I'm so glad you like my method of keeping track and I hope if you use it or a modified version of it, it serves you well! Congrats on the 240!!! Oh, but you shouldn't weigh yourself at night, lol! We always weigh more at night. In fact, have you seen this thread's article? http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weig...st-reason.html We really do lose weight overnight, which is why we weigh less in the morning!
Turtle, I'm so glad the whoosh fairy is paying attention! 159! 159! 159!
Yay, Joy, maintenance is good! Although, c'mon whoosh fairy! We need a 76!
Tuscany, you are always on fire and your weight loss progress never ceases to amaze me! You are an inspiration!
183, I get excited by giant pumpkins too, lol! My town has been holding an annual pumpkin festival for over 100 years, so needless to say everyone here loves pumpkins. Our festival begins on Tuesday, so you can bet I'll be walking downtown to see the giant pumpkins, and on my cheat day next Saturday, I'll be having wonderfully yummy pumpkin delights!
Sum, Dear Sum's scale, stay down! I know she works out way too hard for you to jump upward like you do!
Woodstock, woohoo! A fabulous new decade!!! Congrats!
Jacqui, I do my weigh'ins first thing of a morning, but just tossed that evening weight in to show the 4 lbs up thing. But alas, I only lost one lb of it last night
I did not click onto that site about losing a lb at night, I am sure the reason is expiration of liquid in the breath. For the main part. But I often lose about 4 lbs getting up to go....... to "that" place
Turtle: Woohoo… I REALLY want to see you in the 150’s (no doubt YOU really want to see that too). Fingers crossed…
Jacqui: Look at you go! October is definitely working out to be your month and I hope the month continues the way it started.
Joy: Waiting for Baby Whoosh to visit again…
Minneey: I LOVE apple crumble… now you’re making me hungry! Good luck with tomorrow’s weigh in!
183StGB: Whenever I feel hungry and it’s not mealtime, I try drinking water, which often curbs my appetite. Also, if you think you just like the chewing motion, what about sugar-free gum?
BFR: Good luck with your next weigh in!
SouthernBell: I saw that trend when I first started dieting. I hope your whoosh comes soon.
Sum: Despite the small gain, you’re still doing well so far this month…keep going!
jacqui_D great to hear we share the same Passion for pumpkins, haha! They'll have a live broadcasting of the Europe's Biggest Pumpkin competition on local TV today, but I think that's too much, even for me
Tuscany yeah, chewing gum helps a lot I go through a lot of gum usually, but can't right now due to the wisdom teeth Thing. Although, if I already disregard the Dr.'s advice about not running, I should totally do the same with gum
It's a really nice, sunny fall day over here. I came down with a cold today, unfortunately, but I guess I will still go for a Little walk in the afternoon. Or enjoy Europe's Biggest Pumpkin on TV :P
take care everyone!
