Staying on plan! I have got to find time today to get some fresh fruit and produce. Almost out around here. I have promised pizza for dinner tonight, as we have to be at the funeral home early. (my sister-in-law's father passed). So, I need to make sure I have all the fixins for a good salad. Sounds like everyone is super-motivated. This is a good thread to be on!
Hope everyone has an awesome day!

I did it! 199.4 this morning! Helloooooo One-derland! It's been almost 2 years since I've seen you! I weighed about 180 12 years ago and then I quit smoking...gained like 40 lb.s in what seemed like overnight! Slowly put the rest on. About 2 years ago I got down to 198 but began quickly to regain. I'm not going to do that again! I'm going to crush the 198 by the end of October!

Down a half pound today -- I will be happy if I can keep this rate of loss!

SW: 152.6
GW: 144.6

10/01: 152.6
10/02: 152.2 (-.4)
10/03: 151.7 (-.5)

congratulations Cincorn!!! What a great accomplishment, keep up the amazing work!!

Thanks for the reminder, Tuscany, it has been a while since I've looked at the chart. This is great motivation. As is this forum and thread specifically. Its great to be among such a determined group!!

Minneey, I'm in the same boat as you with two planned dinners out this weekend and a big cooked dinner planned at home on Sunday. I'm looking at it as a challenge to not go overboard as I normally do on the weekends. Lets report back on our success on this weekend challenge?!

Way to go on a 1lb loss today, Jacqui_D - awesome!

10/2: 202.8 (1620)
10/3: 200.2

This has been a very stressful two weeks for me personally. I'm proud that I haven't binged! It's what I need to focus on most with my eating.

Leah, have fun when your family comes to visit! Taking it one day at a time is a great way to look at things.

183, yes, weighing can seem like such an exercise in science. I weigh myself as soon as I wake up, pee, and strip off my clothes for a shower!

Daisy,

Hoopty, it's great that the weight is coming off slowly because that's how it is supposed to happen. Doing it the healthy way is the best way. Great job and outlook on weight loss!

marymo,

boatingmommy, I'm sorry to hear about your SIL's father. Way to plan ahead and get some fruit, produce and salad throughout the day. And if you have to eat a piece of pizza, it's not going to make you gain a pound of fat.

cincorn, I'm so happy for you!!

woodstock, way to go with the weight loss!

Jacqui, that scale really loves you! Great job!

Thanks Tuscany for my weekend mantra. Will be testing it out after work tomorrow night. Another favourite one of mine is:

"I am not hungry, I am thirsty"

Makes me laugh because I normally am actually very hungry! At least it makes me smile though!

Woodstock, lets hope it's not confession time on Monday. See you here. I'm going to try to stay below 2000 calories on each day but we'll see. A big drop at tomorrow's weigh in would certainly motivate me ;-)

Woodstock, Thanks! And congrats on the half-pound down!

Emme, I hope things get better for you. And it's huge that you haven't binged if that's one of your issues with eating! I'm so proud of you!!! Keep it up!

DaisyBelle, you're getting closer to Onederland all the time! Woohoo!

Minneey, keeping my fingers crossed for you on a big motivational drop! Love the mantras, lol!

Slight (¼ lb) drop for me this morning:

SW: 143.50
GW: 139.00

10/1: 143.50
10/2: 142.75
10/3: 142.75
10/4: 142.50

Turtle: Fingers crossed for a whoosh in your near future!

Jacqui: Another pound…way to go!

Emme: Glad to see your recent gain disappeared, and great progress on dealing with the recent stressful weeks.

cincorn: ONEderland…Congratulations!!

Sum: Great progress so far.

SouthernBell: Terrific start to October, and congratulations on the overall 60 lb loss!

Woodstock: I didn’t need to look at the chart, since you and I are the same height and I remember how terrific I felt when the scales fell below 150. October is starting off well for you!

183StGB: Way to stay on plan during your holiday day!

boatingmommy: You’re off to a great start!

Minneey: How about “I’m not hungry, I’m just in the mood to do squats”!

DaisyBelle: Nice loss so far!

Marymo & Campana: Welcome and good luck meeting your October goals!
