Emme - I hear you on the fluctuations, I have been bouncing up and down a lot lately so it is hard to get excited when the scale goes down, since you know there is a possibility of it going right back up again.

Oops - moderation won out for most of the weekend but cooking Sunday dinner last night with friends and wine etc. and I'm up 1.4 lbs today. Time to face the music at the gym!!

Im happy to post some progress on this challenge as of this morning I weigh 215. When I began this challenge last week I was at 217. My goal is 209 by Holloween. Good luck yall

Campana and Ook Ook! Way to go on progress so far... Halloween is a great day to set yourself a target for...! Sure there is a spooky analogy there but can't think of anything witty to say! :-)

Tuscany - good luck on your trip! See you when your back.., hopefully you'll get a nice surprise on those scales...!!!

Rhiko - that sounds like a brownie disaster! So hard not to eat home baked treats!

Woodstock - my fellow weekender! I wasnt too pleased with my will power this weekend ! Here's hoping for a good week ahead and lots of good workouts... Did a 10K tonight too and my legs felt like lead the whole route. Ouch!

Im back down today which is good but had a feeling yesterday's roast lunch made me a bit heavy yesterday...

Really determined to get close to my goal this month...

I've only lost 2.2 lbs. so far this month! I'm really going to have to step up my game to meet my goal of 7.4 lbs. for October! I crushed my 7 lb. goal in August and September. October is giving me fits!!!

Um, I'm thinking my goal of six pounds for October was a bit too lofty seeing as I'm 8 days in and technically I should be down 1.5 pounds by now. Oh well. Some days I feel like stopping because it just takes so much work, but I've done this before and I know how to do it. I just have to stay focused.

I haven't been able to exercise very much and that really stinks. I used to be able to work out every single day before I had my daughter and I loved it! Now, when 8:00 rolls around and she's in bed, I just collapse. I do have a rec center at work, though, so I should really start taking advantage of it over lunch. That's my own lazy fault for not doing that. I used to go a lot over the summer, but then I stopped.

Probably because of hormones, I am up to 190 this morning. I was hoping the 190's were gone for good, but apparently not. I haven't been off plan so that's not it. I'm going to focus on drinking green tea and water today and see if that helps any. I had 3 glasses of water in a row last night and wasn't running to the bathroom so obviously my body's holding onto it.

BFR, good job on the 2 lbs down!

Emme, hang in there! I was on plan all last month and yet it took me to day 18 to finally stop going around in circles between 195 and 197. By the end of the month, however, I dropped to 189.

Joy, Onward to goal!

Day eight of insanity... cant feel my legs but it seems to be working. Dreading my seven am 'Pure cardio' workout tomorrow morning. Then will have to navigate a 'team lunch' at work - we're ordering pizza. Taking soup with me. Who will win? Soup or pizza...
