Mel ~ Ah sweetie , you are beautiful. I carry all my weight in my gut and my legs. I hate that when I sit down it looks like I have a tire around me, but hey, that's what we are here for...to get healthy and fit! We can do it together Mel. You keep that chin up and stay focused.

Jacque ~ Hurry up girlfriend. I can't handle all these good lookin' men on my own.

That goes for all of you. Hurry up and get those minutes in...I'm lonely at the beach. No fun gettin' drunk by myself.

I'm moving along on my exercise too I think I can definitely get there in the next couple of days. I think I'm going to go mow my yard, I've been on the phone for the last hour dealing with my younger brother.... he gets me all stressed out. No point in eating, much better to sweat it out.

I hear you...I used to be pretty evenly distributed, and after I had my daughter it seems like it is all concentrated around my stomach area. I hate sitting down and seeing all of it...but when it really looks bad is when I try to get up and it is all in the way is when I really hate it.

But I've finished day #1 of doing what I need to do to get rid of it, and I'm 90 miles closer to the beach after today! I will be there before you know it....I want to get in on some swimming...I am sure I will have a few drinks...but I really want to get in on the big bonfire after sunset....watch some fireworks and make some smores.....of course they are magic calorie free smores

sprklemajik ~ That's right! When in doubt, exercise it out. No need to go off plan when things get you stressed.

Mel ~ Good for you! You will be there before you know it. Hang on to the positive and DO NOT let anything stand in your way of the goals you seek.

Delphi - Thanks...I sure hope I get there some day!!!

So, starting day #2 today. I got up this morning and tried to go for a walk cause the weather was nice.....but half way around the block I got kinda dizzy feeling. I guess it was cause I hadn't eaten yet and I was still really sleepy....soooo I guess I will have to get my extra exercise in doing some swimming....sure hate that....just kidding....I love to go swimming.

I'm PM'ing Eny my weigh in because I forgot to yesterday, and I want to weigh in on Mondays for now since that is what I'm doing for the biggest loser challenge...

Well...guess that is about it for now. Talk to you all later

Mel ~ You don't want to eat a full blown breakfast that early in the morning before your workout, but you need to put something in your body before early morning workouts. Remember, your body will feed off of muscle for energy if you don't put fuel in it, every three to four hours. So you sleep all night, without food and get up and exercise with still no food, is a very bad idea. I usually eat some carbs and protein to get me going. Like a nutrigrain bar or half a banana with peanut butter on it. Then, something with a lot of potassium and sugar about 15 to 30 minutes after a workout to speed up the repair process. At any rate, hope that helps. But good job on getting up and walking. That is a step in the right direction..indeed!

At any rate, you ladies have a great day.

Hi everyone just reporting in. Food is on plan, I'm a little light on the exercise today, but I decided to cook this afternoon. I made low cal chocolate biscotti. I didn't have the cranberries they called for, but it was still sooo good. Now I just have to try and limit my portions.

Cook yourself thin chocolate biscotti

Anyways, off again. Everyone keep working on plan!! Weigh-Ins are fast approaching.

Tessa - Thanks for the that biscotti recipe. I love biscotti AND coffee!!! Trying to nix so much sugar though...

divinechaos - I think your goal is VERY achievable.....I actually think I will lose 8-9 pounds by the end of the month (15th - 30th)

Pretty good day here...just finished logging my exercise minutes in my ticker....I'm almost half way to the beach...I'll bet there...See you all in the morning!
