That's great news 4Star!

I've been OP this weekend. I even went to a party last night and stayed within my calorie range!

Looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow morning. I'm anxious to see how much I've lost! My husband told me last night that I already looked like I've lost weight! I can tell myself that alot of the bloat is gone, but I didn't think anyone else could tell yet :O). I believe him, too, because he's not one to really say anything unless he means it!

congrats susie and 4star, those aren't NSV's. those are bull blown, bang on SV's lol.

as for me, i ate a lot this weekend. not bingey a lot- but off plan, no counting just "ate" - although my mother is a very slight woman, and i just mirrored my portions off of her.

then, last night- i ended things with my long term "whatever" (it's complicated), it feels like there is a heard of elephants stomping around my rib cage, it sucks, so i went to yoga, then ate a pint of half baked by ben and jerrys. THE WHOLE PINT (although it was instead of dinner), and after a healthy breakfast/lunch.

this morning i was sitting at a firm 177.6 although i will probably gain tomorrow- BUT UNDER 179. WOOOHOOOOOOO.

i also had a pretyt high cal breakfast today, so going to be good for the rest of the day and REALLY back on track tomorrow.

does anybody find that really counting your calories and intake messes with your hormones sometimes? its so annoying i feel like a waste-case right now

but you know what? keep on pushing.

also did you know that today is blue monday? statistically the most depressing day of the year? fun fact.

I am sorry to hear that! That sucks!

I don't think you did much damage to your diet. You work out a good bit on moderate calories so it might have a recharging effect for you, like a little carb-loading. I doubt you'll see any damage done on the scale. You should be fine.

Yes, I have heard that if you run deficits for a while you can drag down your hormones and some people recommend a full week or two, no calorie restriction and no work outs to help your body mend itself and metabolism.

Hey all!
My weekend was allright, but I ate more than usual. Today is back on track though. I did exercise this morning, I got new running shoes that apparently STINK, so I couldn't complete the full 3 miles. I'll probably end up taking those ones back.
Later chickies!

Hello ladies!

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement...I will get these 3 lbs off eventually!

Congrats to everyone who is sticking OP and meeting their exercise goals, way to go!

Looking back on last week (my first "real" week being OP since I was sick the 1st week in January), I did OK overall. I stuck to my calorie goals but fell 1 day short on my exercise goal. This weekend wasn't the best...we were out of town for a friend's birthday. I didn't count and I'm sure I was high, but I did make the best choices I could (i.e., I had carne asada tacos at the Mexican place instead of something loaded with gobs of cheese, I had adult beverages with diet mixers to cut back on the sugar, etc.) This week (*including* the weekend), I am striving to meet both my calorie AND exercise goals.

I lost 4 pounds this first week. So I've got two more to go for the challenge. I know I set my goal low, but I mentally "need" to reach or exceed this first goal back on track!

I'm staying on track for my exercise, water and vitamin goals as well. I am feeling so much better after just one week on plan!

Hope you all are having a good Monday and it's not too blue for you :O)

Hello everyone, I realize I'm starting late but hopefully I can still get this goal of 10 pounds out of the way, I've really bailed on myself the past couple of months and I need this support to keep on going!

Okay so I have yet to lose anything... I am contributing this to a couple of things, but mostly because I am having a hard time getting into exercising...excuses excuses!!! Anyway, I did work out today, I am looking at this as a new week, and a new beginning in the exercise area.
