Good Morning. Yesterday was another successful day. I stayed on plan and I am feeling pretty excited about it. Today is a new day and I'm expecting to be on plan all day again. As long as I can maintain my focus I will be happy with my results.

Hope you all have an awesome day.

I need to join this challenge. I'm finally ready to do something about this weight again. In 2006-07 I was a regular on 3FC and I lost 110 pounds, but I gained 80 back when I was pregnant and now my son is three and I've added 5 more on top of that! I keep losing 20 and then gaining it back, and over the holidays I tacked on 5 more. I was so happy at 165, and I really want to get back there. I started counting calories on Jan 2 and I'm doing well so far. I've even done a workout video each day (which isn't easy with my 3yo son clinging to me all day!) I want to get back to running and feeling good. I hope we can all support and encourage each other on our journeys! I've done this before, so I know how to do it -- I just need to DO IT!

Checking in -- I ate a little high on the calories yesterday (1800), but I also logged 6 miles of walking (which is amazing, because I hardly left my apartment -- I did a lot of walking in place while reading & watching TV). I figure as long as I have a calorie deficit almost every day, I'll lose the pounds.

I would love the company so I am in on this challenge! I would love to be 182lbs on Feb 14th. That is a loss of 13lbs, sounds doable. I am looking forward to the encouragement on here, I dont have a support system for weight loss in my family, so this site is very important to me!!

That's a little over 2 lbs a week -- ambitious, but doable! You'll have to go for a 1,000 calorie deficit every day for six weeks. Don't be too hard on yourself if you fall a little short of that, because it really is an ambitious goal! And you will get there, eventually, if you stick to it. People who have the support system in the family are very lucky, but for those of us who don't, it sure is helpful to have the online community! Keep posting, and good luck!

Oops, I forgot to say what my goal is for Feb 14. I'd like to be at or below 239 when I weigh in on that day. My main goal, however, is to consistently track and count my calories every day and keep them around 1300-1700, and to work out at least three times a week.

I'm sitting here in tears reading how some of you that I became familiar with have been so faithful! Jiggle and Northern I AM SO PROUD OF YOU.

It's been a long time since I've checked in. So much has happened and I have regained so much of my weight. I'll have to go in and truth-ify my picture and tickers which pains me to no end.

The last time I checked in I had regained about 20 ish pounds. Now I have no idea where I'm at, I've been terrified to get on the scale. But I will say this - I need the traveling pants back (not really). I'm back in size 16 jeans and they're tight.

So much has happened. When I last checked in I'd regained more than a bit and was so embarrassed. Now it's huge. My dad got sick in Sept. 10 right around the time I met my size 10 goal. It was a tough year driving back and forth the 3 hours and dealing with the depressing thoughts. He passed away on Aug. 31 and I've piled on more pounds. I know that is no excuse - but that is what brought on my comfort eating again.

I've GOT to get back on board, but I tell you it's so hard to commit now. I got SOOO close to my goal (just 7 pounds away) why?

I feel like the prodigal child here.

Today I went out for lunch. Tracked the whole thing. Ended up not being as bad as I thought, just under 700. I did a teriyaki chicken sandwich (ate only 1/2 the bun) and a salad with ranch dressing (not the best, but better than fries). Still looking good for this week though! Did the 2nd day of week 1 for couch 2 5k! Burned 534 calories.

You are right it is very amibitious, maybe too amibitious. Perhaps 8-10 lbs would be a more realistic goal. I should have done the math, thanks for the heads up.
I just wanted to check in to say that today, my first day, went very well. I tracked what I ate, and scheduled time to exercise!! Really proud of my first day back

Glad to hear that day 1 was successful! I think it is good to have a realistic goal and an ambitious goal. I am very optimistic and think I can challenge myself, but I keep reality right along with it. I think you can do it if you put your mind to it! Keep up thw GREAT work!
