  • okay so, im not changing my ticker, i have been eating like crazy for the last couple of days. today, i will buckle down, again- and hopefully will have a solid idea of where i'm at for the weekend.
  • Hey everyone!
    I had a pretty good weekend. I took an exercise break on Saturday, but I got back on the treadmill Sunday and I plan to walk every weekday this week. My cough is still sticking around, so I’m finally going to see the doctor this week. Not sure if there’s anything she can do, but I’ve had it for over a month and I really want to get back to normal. Hope everyone has a great week!
  • I want to report a NSV even though it's not Friday yet! As I had reported when I came back home to 3FC, I had gotten back up into a size 16 (tight) after having reached size 10 previously. Well, today I put on a pair of size 14 button and zip pants and they fit - go out in public fit! I haven't worn them since right after Christmas 2010, so I'm super excited! Hopefully they'll be sagging before long!

    AND positive side? You'll have properly fitting clothes all the way to a size 10 before you have to buy!! That's a great feat.


    My victory? I weighed this morning, 175.2- i'll take it. i've had dessert every day since sunday, and i'm having a beavertail for dinner after skating tonight - google image it. it's amazing, and totally a canadian thing lol

  • Hola chicas! Its been a minute since Ive checked in but I havent forgotten about you all & this challenge.. Its been rough but Ive stuck to pretty much all of my goals.. no soda so far & Im loving the way I feel. I might not see any loss this challenge, but Im gitting my NSGs like crazy.. Ill check in again later this week.. keep up the good work ladies.

    Things have been going pretty good around here. I keep fluctuating between 149 and 151, but that's progress. Before it was 150 and 152. I've been keeping up with my exercising and running. I have successfully added .25 mile at speed on run days for 3.25 and then I slow it down for another quarter of a mile while still jogging. My goal is to get to 4 miles of straight running. I've also increased my kettlebell intensity a little bit. I'm feeling it in my legs and arms!
    Food's been good. I increased my daily intake to 1550 from 1400. Most days during the week I've been getting between 1500 and 1700. I'd like to keep it to 1550 and then around 1800-2000 on weekends. We'll see though. I may loose slower, but I feel better.
    I can't believe this challenge is almost over!!!

    tdiprincess - doesn't it feel so much GREATER eating more, and still losing? what a delicate balance, but how delicious!

    as for me, i did my yoga, and then went skating last night!! had a beer and a half, went to bed late, and woke up at 172.2 HELLO?? I'm going to go ahead and call it goal. my goal for this challenge was 175-172. 5 more days, if i see 171, i might actually implode.

    nsv thursday? im so happy.

    like, if you ask me what emotion i'm feeling lately, IM SO FREAKING HAPPY. It's like i've been petting ponies for weeks, so many endorphins, its so phenomenal. (okay i did play with a very CUTE dog for a fairly long time last night- so that might be correlated) ha ha.

    also, i've lost like, 97 lbs? when on earth did that happen? i think i've reached the point where it's almost become surreal- i don't even work too hard at it at this point, monster metabolism maybe? or am i just SUPER duper active?
  • Hi Everyone! I just wanted to check-in while I can. I've been getting a lot of errors while trying to post the last few days. Hopefully, that's clearing up....anywho....

    I am so excited for everyone in our challenge. We've all come such a long way and still have a few days left!


    I am still hanging out at my ticker weight but am under a 35 inch waist now which brings me into proportions closer to size charts! My hips were smaller too which is strange since I had calorie overages several days last week. I am down almost a size since I started the challenge.

  • Good morning!!! It's NSV Friday!!! I got something!! We went walking around the mall last night and we went into the Cache store and I can fit a 12 in their label!!! That's 5 so far!!

    Susie - I think that is pretty good. You are rocking and rolling. Congrats!!
    TDI - sounds like things are going great. I think loosing slower is a good plan as well because it's not just getting the weight off it's about feeling good as well!
    Stimkovs - Keep doing whatever you are doing to keep those happy feelings going!!
  • Oh, that's right Jiggle. It IS NSV Friday!!! That's awesome on your size 12! And you're in a Cache size 12 so it's a little smaller than other size 12 brands. I am excited for you! You've so gotta post some links to what you buy!

    Stimkovs- on goal! I have noticed that even when I am not actively cutting calories I still have some gradual weight loss b/c of my fitness improving. Once you get your body fired up it really does turn into a fat burning machine. Gotta love it!

    Susie- on the 14! You've had a lot of NSV's this challenge!

    My NSV is getting my waist below 35 inches and losing almost an inch on my hips! I am this close to a 14 but not quite there yet. I've lost a lot off my waist and hips this week but my scale has not changed at all. I am hardly surprised. Most of my weight in the beginning was matched 1 inch off my body for 1 pound lost. It's a bit strange but I still get to change sizes while the scale catches up so it's not so bad.

    i have NOT been clean alll weeekk pretty much.

    now my knee cap is over-extended and hurting quite a bit, so today is a yoga off day.

  • Hope everyone is having a good weekend! I way over did on salt yesterday so I am up this morning. But my calories are good so everything should be fine in the morning.
