Congrats Everyone~y'all are kicking butt!

I finally had scale movement...188 & 189 has left for now(hope I never see them again) I am now 186.6 So I have about 7 lbs to go for this challenge.
It will be close. I wanna see those 170's sooooooo BAD!

Jam~I so much enjoy reading your post~it's like reading an Awesome "KICK BUTT WORKOUT MAGAZINE"....It's cool you was taking pics~I take pics all the time of my flowers! lol~I am very into my flower gardens.I actually had some mutated flowers this year which was freaky cool.

As far as school~my kids start back on the 24th.
I Love them dearly but need a break~They are ready to go back also~they miss there friends. They see them some but not as often as they would like too.
ANYWAYS~I am back to my full exercises and walking amounts after how sick I was before had ended them for a few days and then made me have to slack off from them a few more days and not get n all I was use to doing. SO THATS GREAT!!! Plus the scale & my clothes are showing the results of being back on track after being ill.
My hair seems to be doing better with the vitamins.
So thats a Plus also.( A BIG PLUS)

Ms Lovett~your so close to your Laborday goal & to main goal also!!! GREAT JOB!

David~ Great Job ~18lbs lost altogether is SUPER!

Jendiet Staying determined Is the key! WAY TO GO!

Alright~Congradulations on 20 lbs~THATS AWESOME

chele~WAY TO GO!

BARB~A HUGE HUG TO THE AMAZING LADY WHO HAS LOST A TOTAL OF 114 LBS IN A YEAR~YOU SO ROCK!

ANYONE I MISSED~Keep up the good work

Well Off to get some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz goodnight all.

David~I was always hungry at first~but they say your stomach shrinks as you shrink~And I think that is proboly true.I feel full most days now and never ever did Even when I was at 259 and ate all day long 3500 or more calories when I didn't know about counting calories to lose weight.....(but couldn't figure out why i was gaining~No wonder at those amounts I was taking in LOL)
Anyways,
Now I am on 1300 to 1400 calories a day.
I had heard to try drinking water when you feel hungry and it will make you feel full ~because alot of times we just need fluids and not food~ and that has really worked out well for me.

Nearly forgot to add,
I have only ate over my calories about 3 to 4 times and it was always been Just a few over(like 100 or 200 calories) Not a major binge. So remember that also...If you cave just do it simple so You do not pay for it...
I have been doing this since November 11th 2008.
My first week I proboly goofed up alot~Since I was new to counting calories And plus it was such a huge adjustment but From then on I have been determined..........And stuck to it.

My hubby says I have extreme Will power~I think my stomach shrank LOL!
Or maybe a little of both.
Hope that helps...

GEESH I Blab & blab & blab To answer a question so please forgive me LOL!

Your welcome ~I eat 3 times a day.plus snack when able.
I eat my largest meal in the morning(I would consider it dinner for breakfast) ~with snack afterwards
Then I eat a normal lunch. and a snack
Then I eat breakfast usually for my last meal of the day.~cereal or oats and it feels like snack time kind to me. because its sweet. And if I have enough calories left I eat a bit of a snack then also.
I walk before I eat in the morning and after I eat in the evening USUALLY
The
before To remind me I wouldn't have had to do this if I wasn't over weight and afterwards to remind me that If I eat anymore I will have to do this Even more in my future........LOL!
If I ate little bits all day It would make me wanna eat LARGE amounts all day proboly personally. But It may work for you.

Hi Gang!!!

David - I'm still figuring out my body and hunger pains. Most of the time I know they aren't real. It appears to be more of an emotional hunger than a physical hunger. I can't always tell the difference and I'm constantly trying to reason with myself. If I'm busy and having fun I typically don't notice the hunger. However, if I'm bored, stressed, sad....I feel like I'm starving and won't make it another moment without something sweet. Clearly that's not the case, but my head and stomach are always in conflict. I am one of those people that eats every few hours. I have 3 small meals and 2-3 snacks depending on my schedule. I eat about 1800 calories a day. I'm typically very hungry after a good weight lifting session and I know then my body needs some fuel. As long as I plan my food and really stick to it I tend to ignore the hunger pains the rest of the time.

Enough rambling out of me. I'm off to put the kiddos to bed.

Catch ya later!

Jams was working, peeps, sorry!

I've been getting some yard work jobs, and taking all I can get, since the bills and expenses are always there waiting. Yesterday I was spreading gravel on a driveway, since the dumptruck couldn't maneuver in the space. It wasn't the worst I've done, but a little over 4 hours of shoveling, raking and wheelbarrow-ing gravel was quite the workout. Today at the gym, our workout was 5 rounds of 15 push-ups, 1 rope climb. Looked all innocent up on the white board, but my shoulders and arms were trashed from all the shoveling yesterday, so I struggled worse than normal with the rope climbs, and the push-ups were torture after the first round.

I'm painting up the strongman log for the boy. So far, so good, though trying to spray paint the inside of the big plastic tube/pipe was a challenge! I'm waiting for the first side to dry so I can flip it over and do the other half.

David, I don't really get hungry now, unless I just have gone too long without eating, or I've eaten the evil carbs . I eat frequently, and also I (usually) avoid the kinds of carbs that make me hungry: oatmeal, cereal, or pretty much any white carbs or grains. High sodium foods are also bad for giving me cravings for more (like anything pre-cooked or packaged), so I avoid those, too, except when I go mental and forget why I don't eat those things! Mainly, I eat meat, fish, good fats, and get all my carbs from veggies, fruit, and the evil yogurt, and do fine with those foods. Not saying you have to change your plan that is working, just putting this out there in case it helps at some point!

Everybody else just gets a . Got to go do something useful, or at least look busy, lol!

Hi everyone!

Sounds like everyone's doing well! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. It's been a busy week with babysitting and stuff! CRAZY! And I've been sick with bronchitis on top of it all

Good news is I'm down to 125.5 lbs! That means I'm just .5 lbs away from my labor day goal weight. Ahead of schedule! I didn't think I'd make it. Now I just have to keep up with my exercise (no problem!) and there was something else that I had as a goal... have to check up on that.

Anyway, it's nice to see everybody! I'll try to check in more often

Wow, everyone's doing really well....super cool, gang.

I'm down another pound, and happy as can be.

I had a couple ladies mention my weightloss tonight when I was out dancing, and I graciously said "Thank you."

Jacque9999,
Thank you!
I DID IT!!! I actually got below my goal weight for this challenge as of today! I'm 124.5 lbs. So excited!!!

What I'm not excited about is that I think I have bronchitis, and it's really slowing me down! It makes me feel extremely cruddy, and not like eating or exercising at all. All I want to do is sleep all day. Crap! Really not good.
