jam, the goal is to NOT stray on the weekends...if i go off track i know i can reel myself in, but im better off sticking to plan so that on mondays and tuesdays i dont have to play catchup...lori its funny how when you first start losing weight, the shape stays the same, but you get smaller...then when you lose more weight, your body really does start to change shape...jam your workouts are sooo impressive...everyone have a great day

Yes I agree David~

Actually The change is so Cool really that our bodys go through.

I got one last belly role to lose and then I am in there.
I use to have 2 larger than the one I have left LOL~SO I am thrilled I am definetly nearly to My goals as far as my main goals(just 35 lbs left to reach my 150)~For this challenge I will have to see I have 6 more lbs to lose and I still am not totally comfy in switching to a size 10.....We got a few more weeks.....SO I will see then.

Jam~since you are the exercise queen To me!(meant in a good way~I Bow to you~Your so impressive)~What can I do to help me firm up my abs and lose the belly role that I hate so much?
I am all ears.
LET ME KNOW....Or if anyone has any ideas~I can not do a sit up~I know thats pathetic of me But I never could do one LOL! I do try though but I never have did one ever.

HI..I have been MIA for 2 months now...I gained back 13lbs.Im now down to just 10lbs gained. My goal is to be back at my lowest by Labor Day.

I am finally back down to my weight from last week. I had my friend's wedding this past weekend, and I was definitely paying for it for the majority of this week. But it didn't take me as much time this time around to get back down as it did after her 4th of July party or her bachelorette party....so that's good LOL

I just really want to be out of the 190's before school starts up again. *sigh*

Sorry I don't chat much, just not a chatter.

But I finally dropped down below 160 and had to update my numbers.

So far a good 10 lbs lost on this challenge with a couple weeks to go. Hurray!!!

David, glad you are doing great with your eating plan! We've got that catered party today. I'd planned to not worry about the food, but I've had a really good week with the scale, holding in the 165.2 range, and I hate to give that up for some stupid dessert. If I can resist, I may just stick to meat and veggies, if they have them, and try to keep it OP, so I don't have to look at extra pounds on the scale this coming week!

Lori, unfortunately, spot-reducing fat is a total myth, can't be done, despite all the "lose stomach fat" ads and lies out there. Sit-ups are good for you, give you stronger abs, which help support your spine, so they are important, but they won't singe the fat off your stomach or anything like that. The only way to get rid of the stubborn bits is to lean out till your body looks as lean as you want it to. Cardio, weight lifting, or whatever floats your boat, just keep exercising! My stomach is one of my last holdouts, too, so I know where you're coming from!

Hi to Chele and DG, and welcome Lisha! Hope I didn't miss anyone, but I've got to get out the door to the gym now.

ETA: Alright, missed you while I was writing this novel. Congrats on the 10 lbs, woohoo!

Labor day is 3 weeks away (tomorrow) and I had goofed on my tracking. I was already on a 12 week plan and thought it ended that Sunday before, to start my maintenance phase then. But now I have an extra week, so I think I will go ahead and extend my 12 week plan to a 13 week plan. I don't think I'd lose 5 more pounds in 2 weeks, but I can probably lose it in 3 weeks, and I really want to get below 155 before I start my short break phase (eat 2 weeks at maintenance levels.)

It's so neat to know I'm finally losing this weight. Was able to set a small and reasonable goal (this Labor Day Challenge) and then be able to take a break to let my body "get happy" again.

After those 2 weeks at Maintenance I plan to do another 12 weeks of dieting, and hopefully I will be at goal or pretty darn close to it. More likely I'll just be getting close as that last 10 lbs will be much harder to lose, I know that.

Hi!

I haven't been on here in a while I'm down to 123 lbs! That means I've lost almost 50 pounds! I went to my nephew's first birthday party yesterday and there was party food galore, but I managed to stay on track. I had exercised that morning, so everything was good. Exercised 130 minutes this morning as well. Did strength training even though I didn't *have* to! Forgot it was my day off! But I maintained my weight over the party day. At least it didn't go up!

im here and so far I have lost 4 lbs of what i had gained. I am so hoping to have a perfect week. GOt to increase water and keep my calories perfect and healthy choices.
