Happy Friday Everyone!! I hope everyone is doing well. Do any of you have any fun plans for this weekend? I don't think I do. Though I think I will go out and invest in a belt. I keep telling myself that but I think I will, it's getting to be a pain to keep pulling up my pants! LOL!
Ohhkay- As long as your carbs are coming from fruits, veggies and whole grains, you should be good. Carbs are like gasoline for the body.
Susan- GOOD MORNING!
Well back to the real world, WORK....ugh.. LOL Talk to you guys later!
After being stuck for a week or two and then gaining 2 ish pounds I have now lost 4.6 pounds in the past three days! I almost cried when I saw the number on the scale!! I finally broke the stall
I had a nice big omelette and 1 slice of turkey bacon for breakfast... I did not wash my hands because I like smelling like bacon
Tinky- I had no idea it was friday... oops! Umm I have to wake up REALLY early tomorrow for a garage sale. I am selling all of my clothes from a 7 years ago- they are all childrens sizes so I don't plan on fitting in them ever! Other than garage sale and workouts, I just plan on hanging out by the pool. Congrats on needing a belt!!
I have a feeling today is going to be great! I need to go to the store because the only healthy food I have in the house right now is canned tuna, spinach, and squash!
Hmm what can you make with that a really odd casserole? Lol or maybe a tuna spinach salad with a side of squash
Yeah I am gonna go to Trader Joes today and pick up their breaded halibut, mmm 200 calories and 7 fiber in nummy fish, its 3 smallish pieces but since I can't eat that stuff out anymore (everyone seems to deep fry it in the same oil as shrimp and I am allergic to shrimp).
I think I posted my calories for yesterday earlier but.....um ... (clears throat) I am weak!!! I had wheat and it was in the form of 2 cookies last night arghh!!!
Actual calories yesterday 1791
Fiber 20
I must say though after weighing in this am after eating more than I planned and still seeing 189.5 I decided to go ahead and change my ticker before Monday, kinda rewarding my self for all my hard work by showing its paying off!
Scale is not moving for me this week. Lots of stress at work (and at home). I've been doing OK on food, great on water and exercise. Just got my weight lifting plan set with a visit with the Personal trainer at the Y this morning. NOW to figure out when I can fit THAT into my week. I'm thinking early AM, but the daycare doesn't open until 8AM. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

RockNRoll- Thanks, never owned a belt, but thought it's time. I don't plan on buy anymore clothes until September so gotta make due with what I got, though I think I will pick up one more pair of capris.
Good luck with your garage sale.
Edzard- I love breaded halibut too! I got my bag from Sam's Club. Don't worry bout your high caloried day. It think it's good to have one of those in a while.
Looks like we both changed out tickers!
QueenJane- Don't worry, you will lose again next week. I didn't lose last week, also due to stress and stress at home. Real life does get in the way of our goals too! Off to a new week!
I am having a low day I know you cant expect weight loss every week but after losing 7 lbs it was horrible to see the scale read I gained a pound I have been working so hard and staying in cal range all week. I walked for an hour 2x this week and did an exercise video today. its hard to get in exercise with a 6 month old. its so frusterating!!! not 2 mention watching my husband eat a baconator, spicy chicken fires and a soda for dinner last night and not gain a lb drives me batty. (by the way thats how I used to eat now I find it disgusting) my husband weighs 150 and he was just able to reach that this year after trying for years he was only 130. can you imagine TRYING to gain weight (he wants to be a cop or corrections and needs a bit more weight on him) I am surrounded by tiny people my sister in laws are all size 5 and under, my sister is size 3-5, i stopped shopping with my one SIL when she announced SHE LOOKED FAT in a XS shirt (she is 4'11 95lbs and a size 0). sorry I just really needed a vent
Irishfairy, I understand! My family can just eat and eat greasy foods and whatever else they want and nobody seems to gain an ounce. My size 4 sister complains about her curves and it's hard. Just remember that YOU are the one working not only to lose weight but to get HEALTHY, and you're doing such a great job! Try not to get too discouraged about the lb, that could be from anything. Just don't give up and hopefully next week your scale will reward you for it. (:
Hey Tinky my SIL had a good idea! Go to one of the Value Villages on Monday and they always have a certain colored tag for 99cents. Just buy a pair or two of pants from there to get us through the weight changes. I think that is what I will do soon since my Lucky's are falling off! I put my phone in my back pocket and it was pulling them down rofl. Anyway thought it was a good idea cause if your gonna need new pants every 10/20 pounds depending on body style you don't want to invest much! Plus if you aren't fond of the style its incentive to get out of it and go buy others in the next size down!!
Irishfairy- feel your pain, my Brothers wife is tiny eats tons and talks about how with watching this carb or other its hard but she can lose a little. Dang girl lose much more and you will blow away!

Edzard- I never even thought about that..that's such a great idea. I mean it's not like we're going to be in them long! I will have to pay a visit on Monday, that way I can drop off my clothing....LOL Thanks again!
Don't forget carbs aren't always bad, where are they coming from? Sugar, that may not be so good lol. How much fiber are you getting, that is a good way to see if the carbs are coming from whole grains/foods.
