Chloeone .... although i strongly dislike both cottage cheese and fish. what else do ya have for me?
Well, I used to strongly dislike tuna but now I weigh 130 lbs. Just kidding. All I meant was that you should probably sneak some protein in there somewhere. By plunking those few things in there, I didn't change your menu much just made it better. UM ... a salad with chicken cut up in it, a couple of slices of deli meat with celery carrots etc. The Lean Cuisins aren't a bad option if you're in a hurry but I'd rather you ate a meat with lots of vegetables.

Well I gave in to going out of the office to pick up lunch. Intentions were good til I got there and then ordered a sub. Oh! What I had put on it was healthy but way too much bread it was ww but still it was good size. I tried to make up for it afterwards with having a lower cals dinner. But no way! I couldn't even bring myself to count the cals up. So today is another day I have had my healthy oatmeal, sprout bread toasted one piece and my coffee. I have stuff to make a nice salad for lunch and I'm taking a grapefruit for my snack a.m. and have to grab something for p.m. afternoon snack oh yogurt will do. I am planning on making some seafood for dinner with steamed or sauted spinach and garlic. Trying to be good is never easy we slip and fall sometimes making sure we get back up is the important thing with out staying down long. Bobbo I do like to knit and quilt I just don't fit it into my schedule often enough. Well off to work I go!

Chloeone? Wasn't it good? Yum! I should get some spinach.

We're off to pick up the college boy for his reading week today. I'm not sure I'll do very well since that encompasses having two restaurant meals but hey ... I get my baby home for a week! I'll call it a 'zag' day.

Soundsl ike everyone is doing awesome!

Yesterdays calories were 1265. I am still aiming low the rest of the week since I splurged so much on Monday. I am hoping to see some loss this week, but I won't be shocked if the scale doesn't move.

I got hubby to agree to look at treadmills this weekend. I am so excited!! I am tired of waiting for the weather to get better or the days to get longer. I am ready to get started. So I spoke with him and he agreed that I could get a treadmill with our tax/bonus money! woohoo!

Hello everyone My calories for yesterday were around 1000. Low I know but I was still filled on it, besides the weekend is coming up. LOL So as of this morning I am down 15 lbs since I started. YAH!!!!

Has anyone seen Diva???? Or am I just missing her posts???

I am trying to be just a strong as she is and quit smoking also. So far I have 1 day smoke free. I am on the patch and that is helping so much. The only thing is that I am chewing gum like crazy so now I am adding in all those calories but those aren't as much as a candy bar so that is better!! Also I am drinking alot more water. Yesterday I had 3 1/2 bottles which is a lot for me. I ususally have to force 1. Alright I better get some work done!!!

A Quick Good Morning to All!
Yesterday's Stats:
Calories...1,229
Fat...25%
Fiber...61 grams
Protein...32%

Breakfast:
Vitamins/Salmon oil/fiber supplements
Fiber One, dry
Coconut Cream Pie w/SF Cool Whip. I didn't have time to eat much as I had a dentist appointment. Good excuse to eat the pie, right!

Lunch:
8 oz.Apple/Squash soup (I have tons of this made up in the freezer)
Apple/Cabbage Cole Slaw
Applesauce with SF Cool Whip and sprinkling of Fiber One on top (Can you tell that I love Apples?)
FF Milk 8 oz.

Supper:
Left over Pork Roast, Apple/Cabbage slaw, large Arugala salad with Olive oil/Balsamic vinegar dressing and tons of spinach. DH was hungry for something different and he came home with a 16oz. bag of frozen spinach. (We ate the whole thing) We plant spinach in our garden in the summer time and use it in fresh salads, yum!

Evening Snack: Darn that pie, I just couldn't leave it alone. I ate the last two pieces last night and wish I had more today. It's one of my favorites and the crust was made with Fiber One so my fiber was high. Good thing each slice was only 100 calories. I also dropped another .5 pound this morning.

DIVA... WHERE ARE YOU HIDING?

Time to make Breakfast, then off to the Fitness Center. We're expecting a foot of snow and high winds tomorrow so we're getting Friday's exercise in today.
Hi Everyone!
P.S. Becky, everytime I see your name I think of my cousin named Becky that lives in Alabama.

Morning lovely ladies. I came in at 1700 yesterday, which is quite good for me. Down a pound, but still 1/2 pound higher than my tracker (its taken me a week to get it back down from a continuing "upward fluctuation"..sneer). Will be working from home today so knowing me I wont make it to the gym. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Just wanted to wish everyone a great day and best of luck sticking to your plan.

The scale is not being friendly this morning. And then I had a carb fest for breakfast. I caved in to a craving and had a bagel. It was so yummy, but it didn't fill me at all, so I ended up eating a cup of oatmeal, too. Thankfully I know this won't ruin the whole day. I'll still come in under 1400.

I've really just been exercising and eating right. I try to eat around 1400 - 1600 cal on days that I exercise and 1200-1400 calories on days that I don't exercise. I exercise about 5 days a week, but to be honest, I usually eat around 1200 - 1500 calories on days that I exercise. This helps to even out the playing field, because on the weekends I might be higher (1800 or so). I think my maintainence calorie level is around 1900 - 2200, so I figure that a daily calorie intake of 1400 -1700 will allow me to lose 1-2 pounds a week. However, I'm trying to lose 2 - 3 pounds a week, and thus I figure if I exercise and burn around 200 - 250 calories a week, and cut my calories to around 1200 - 1500 then I will lose 2 pounds/week. It seems to be working thus far. I hope I didn't confuse you.

Stats for Wednesday:
Calories: 1474
Fat: 30g (19%)
Carbs: 211g (50%)
Fiber: 31g
Protein: 109g (30%)

That must have been a small bagel! What are you eating that your intake is still under 1400 calories?

No small bagel. 280 calories. My calories will be low because I don't get dinner tonight--it will just be a snack. That and my lunch will be low. Here's how I figure it so far:

B~bagel 280 + cream cheese (2T) 100 + oatmeal 200 = 580 (yikes!)
S~yogurt + 1/2 c frozen banana 130
L~leftover chicken & spinach manicotti 460
S~apple 100
S~triscuits & 1 wedge laughing cow cheese 155
total for the day 1425. Not to shabby as long as I can stay away from the glass of wine that would go really, really good with the cheese and crackers!!!
