angel-eyes I am so not surprised at your lb. When you are doing the workouts and eating right it works! I understand you have been experiencing a plateau but now that you have busted through that there'll be no holding you back! Glad to hear about it because it reminds me what good success is possible.

Good job KC -it IS hard right now. Glad we have each other for support.

Just back from my hike. I have been doing this hike for years. I remember when I was the one who was always the last to finish. It is so nice to realzie how much I have strengthened cardiovascularly as well as my muscles. I was having to backtrack every now and then so I could be social with my friends.

Anyway, I am happy to be back on track and happy to hear your good news angel-eyes. Merry Christmas to all of Jillian's girls and Jillian, Jillian I miss you! I miss the Biggest Loser too, it was so good to have a weekly boost of encouragement when the show was on.

Moonlightstar - I also am looking to lose around 45 pounds by June. Right now I have lost 10 pounds in the last few weeks. My 9 year anniversary is on June 7 and we are going to Florida to celebrate. It is the first time my family will see the ocean. We are taking our kids to Disney World. I do not want to go to the beach fat. So...here I am working as hard as I can to lose it forever.

Since I got serious and started eating and excersing right it has been a lot easier than the other times I tried. I've been having some medical problems that has slowed me down, but those are finally getting fixed. So it's time to take it off and keep it off.

I wish you lots of luck. It's hard, but this group is very supportive to talk with.

Merry Christmas to everyone. I got the best present ever and achieved my 10 pound Christmas goal. I did have a good year for gifts though. My husband got me an awesome color palm. I love it.

I'll talk to everyone tomorrow. Have a great night.

Hello!!! and Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I hope everyone had a great day. I had an awesome day, it started out nice and civilized....the boys woke us up at 7 am. So a nice easy start to the day. Dh was listening when I said I was having problems with my CD player while working out and got me an IPOD !!! wooohoooo, he helped download tonnes of tunes and already today I braved the elements and went for a good 45 min brisk walk. YEAH!!!

So nice to meet you moonlightstar. The support and motivation on this site is incredible, I pop in often throughout the day. I know you can do this!!! BTW, I grew up in the Ottawa area, so what a small world!!!

Teacherlady.....Congratulations on your 10 lb loss!!! If you keep it up there is no way you'll be 'beach fat' as you put it....but skinny fabulous!!! Enjoy your new palm.

ledom.....Isn't it great to feel the empowerment of your muscles? I can feel and sense mine (if you know what I mean) and now walk alot taller and prouder for it. Thanks for your inspiration and support!! HOpe your Christmas was a good one.

Default Missing TBL

Ledom! Oh i sympathise with you completely! I miss my weekly dose of biggest loser sooooo much. It was such an inspiration especially when i was psyching myself up to go to the gym. I used to watch it, get pumped, then head straight for the gym.
I am hanging on until february when the aussie version starts nightly on channel 10!
Until then i will have to keep watching the epps that i taped. however they do get somewhat repetitive!

If I remember correctly....another BL show will be starting soon towards the end of January, they were showing clips of it at the finale. Until then....there is the discovery health challenge starting just after NewYear's day!!! Won't be long

Default merry xmas

Hi all, I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I think after all the junk I've had (bad bad me) that my weight scale below most likely isn't accurate. I'll just consider it a technical error for now

One thing that made me snap back to reality among all the celebration was when I opened a present from the BF. He'd bought me some lovely soft warm pajamas - size L/XL. Now, don't get me wrong - that's the size I need, and they fit. But it reddened my face to know that my boyfriend had to go ask for a large/extra large for his girlfriend. I told him "baby some day you won't have to buy me the huge size" and he hugged me and tried to tell me they must just run small, or some other cute thing men say to get their significant other's out of that mindset.

Anyway, with some money I received as a gift I'm going out to finally buy an aerobic step tomorrow. Then I'll have everything I need to properly do Jillian's front and back workout DVDs. Well, except the energy!

Talking Happy Holidays!!!

Shaunarae, I like the christmas gifts. I just bought a polar myself. Now if only I would put it into action.

Teacher Lady.. my goodness you're doing awesome! Congratulations on reacing your christmas goal. I read your progress and think to myself, what are you doing woman, you could be where this woman is. Great work!

Kathy.. wasn't christmas a perfect day. I would say it was way more than half the Aussie population that has seafood for christmas though. Almost everyone will atleast have a bowl of prawns on the table. We are blessed.

AngelEyes.. super to hear you're numbers are on the decline. You are so going to love that ipod too.

KCMcD.. Glad you found us again. Put down those snowballs that seemed to be directed at the Aussies. You had a loss too, awesome! Now how is that video coming along? I heard there are open casting calls coming up, any near you?

Ledom.. I miss BL and Jillian also. Everytime I think about the show though I get a sick feeling in my tummy because I came so close to getting on the darn thing. I was worried I may not be able to watch the next season but saw some commercials for the Aussie version and I got all excited. YES!

I am a little obsessed though. Last night I dreamt that I moved into a house down the road from where they are currently filming the Aussie BL (yes I now know where that is - perhaps what prompted the dream?) and I'd watch what they did. Bob and Jillian came past my house and I was introduced to them, I got down on my knees and did that praising thing. Both of them said hi quickly and quietly then left. They walked by again and ignored me.

Anyone a dream interpreter? What does that mean? Do I need a psychiatrist? I'm about 1/2 drive from Jillian, it's killing me. She needs to come over and kick my butt when I need it and motivate me when I need it HELP!!

Moonlightstar.. Good luck with your weightloss. How's that elyptical going? (I know it's not an elyptical but they didn't have the right picture so I improvised. )

Navy.. It's going to be great having BL on everynight of the week. Woohoo Maybe we should check out this thing on the discovery channel. Doesn't look like we're going to get the BL specials but maybe this disco health challenge. I'll look into it.

SmartButt.. It seems my weight tracker thing has a technical error also. Wonder what would happen if my current weight was higher than my starting weight. Maybe I'll try it. I like the sumo pic and how sweet you are to worry that your boyfriend had to go and get that size. He sounds lovely.

Hmm long post.. sorry I had to catch up.

OMG! Day 1 Workout 1 about killed me. That was so hard and I am already sore. This is definitely going to make some major changes in my body. My HRM went way too high during the jumping jacks. It's amazing that you think you can take a breather during jumping jacks and jump rope, etc., but those are the ones that were the worst.

OzLoser, you can do it on your own. I was so upset that they had the program here and I am pregnant so I cannot participate. There are good personal trainers everywhere, perhaps you could hire one??

Smile Hi guys

Shauna, way to go. If you're sore now you're going to be aching tomorrow. A good ache though.

Moonlightstar, happy reading.

Oceangirl, thanks mate. It's the 24 hr emotional support that I craved. I have a personal trainer at the moment but it's only for 1/2 hour a week and that's not going to do much. They are so expensive aren't they? I've been dieting for so many years I should be an expert I just have to knuckle down and do it. I know I complain a lot (sorry everyone), it's just a release for the anger I feel for myself. I'll figure it out but if for some reason I fail for another 12 months BL Oz has signed on for the first 3 seasons.
