Thanks Chick!! Hi Charles. Where do you and Chick know each other? from BL board?

I took ds to Burger king for lunch today and really enjoyed their grilled chicken salad. Had to read the lite dressing pak though....almost half calories/fat was from it. 120 calories for salad dressing!!! I used about 1/3 of the pack.

I should have weighed in this morning, but the darn scale kept giving me about 5 different readings all varying from -.5to+3.5 pounds. ITS DAYS ARE NUMBERED!!! So I'm choosing tommorow as my weigh in. Can't see that it makes any sense just to pick a number when it was going CRAZY each time I stepped on it !!!

Hey there. Yes, I have seen Oz over at the BL site. I just wanted to say major congratulations on your weight loss chick in the hat. That is quite an accomplishment!

I wish you all the best.

Thanks for all the encouragement and dancing veggies. I have been trying really hard. Actually all of the sudden I have been super motivated. I finally figured it out. I did the Biggest Loser strength training when I got home. I'm exhausted. It's hard! But, I love it. It makes me tired, but feeling great at the same time.

I'm off to grade papers. Have a great night.

Great job Teacherlady!!! Those workouts are paying off, WTG!!!

I am stuck. That darn scale.....GRRRR..... My calories have ranged from 1250 to 1600 with a couple of 1800's (as per Jillians book) and my excercise has been really good. I have never never been able to run on the treadmill and now I'm doing 3 miles. SO THATS SOMETHING!!! The only thing I can say is that I haven't been this weight for a LONG TIME and my body wants to hold on to it!!! I have one more weigh in before my Christmas challenge is over....so we'll see.

Never mind though.... I feel great, clothes are fitting so much better and I've even discovered new 'old' clothes buried deep in my closet....I've given away to charity, larger clothes but I can feel a sense of frustration wanting that number on the scale to move. I know it will, but still ? Okay, move on......just having my coffee and then heading to the gym. Everyone stay warm and on OP.

angel-eyes 25 lbs. lost - clothes fitting great - you're feeling good. And that scale will drop when it is good and ready but until then you are looking good.

I am not being nearly so virtuous as you and teacherlady but I am trying. I am not giving up the good fight and I am getting better. I have a new strategy, I wore my skinny jeans all during thanksgiving to keep my mind on not letting my belly get too big. So starting today the skinny jeans are no longer to be passed over. I wore them all morning and they aren't fitting quite as good. So tomorrow they better be feeling a little better because I am putting them back on. No elastic waistbands!!!!

haha...ledom....I do the same thing!!! I have a pair of 'britney spears wannabee's' jeans and I wear them on days that I know in advance that might be challenging, or the day before weigh in....to keep me on the straight and narrow!!! haha...too funny!!!!

WHAT THE ????? phew...I found you guys!!! I didn't know we were moving and I was getting a little nervous there.

How is everyone doing today?

Today is my rest day, so ds and I are going to take in a movie. I love just going on a 'date' with him as his older brother is still in school. We don't get to do much twosome stuff as the other one feels left out, dh and I are trying to give both of them some 'one on one' time. We are going to see the "Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe", I've heard some pretty good reviews about it. Other than some wrapping and ironing....(grrrr) thats pretty much my day. Hope everyone has a good day, its almost Christmas....hang in there!!!!

Default moved

They had posted a thing at the top of the threads, the sticky'd ones, that said "moving" and they explained we were going to be moved somewhere else since the show is over now.

Originally they were going to move us under "ladies who lift" which I didn't care for, and a few of us posted saying please don't! I was hoping they'd just add us to the "Fitness" category, but we got stuck into the "Exercise" subcategory of that. It took me a little while to find it too.

I don't think it will catch anyone's eye the way it used to, so we probably won't get any new people posting. So don't you guys abandon me!

Have fun at the movies angel-eyes.

Smartbutt - I bet people will find us. Once the new year starts I think a lot of people are going to want to try Jillian's workouts. I'll be right here with you singing praises to Winning by Losing. I am planning to reread the first 3 chapters today because I find myself in need of one of Jill's' pep talks.
