Check out my new avatar - this looks EXACTLY like me!!! And if you believe that, I've got some land in Florida...

I have brown hair, though, does that count? Anyway I like the little pic and maybe it will motivate me to work out. I now have to live up to the standards of my avatar.

Smile Phew!

I knew I should've dropped bread crumbs on my way out last time. And SmartButt I think our new location does mean we have to exercise. Come on now rules are rules.

BTW SmartButt we could be twins, I had to look twice when I saw your avatar because for moment there I thought you had taken a picture of me and posted it.

Well nothing much to report here. Enjoy the movies AngelEyes, not out here yet. You all just think of me over here putting up with summer. I think that picture was put in purely for the southern hemispherers.

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie. I just got Jillian's book this week and am making plans to start after Christmas. I found out I am a balanced oxidizer and someone on this board said that that is like the Zone, so I checked out books on the Zone from the library. I'm trying to get my meals in order for next week and figuring out her circuits too. I have done several Body for Life challenges with lots of success, but I have pretty much gained it all back now too. I plan to do the workouts from home. I'm very excited and hope to be posting regularly once I get going. I also wanted to add that I've ordered her 5DVD set and can't wait to get it. I also ordered a heart rate monitor (Polar F11). All of these things were my Christmas gifts. I think I made some smart choices.

Just back from the movie.....it was fantastic!!! I hadn't read any of C.S. Lewis' books but if my ds lets me, I'll read his copy. I was surprized at the computer graphics,...out of this world!! Without telling too much about the movie, some parts were quite violent(graphic) and the movie was only a PG rating. I know that there were even little kids in the movie theatre (3-5yo) and how they will go to bed tonight without nightmares is beyond me!! Overall we had a great time and reccommend it. Proud to say that I also didn't have any popcorn!!!

I had my weigh in this morning. Down to 178. Only 2 more pounds until my Christmas goal.

It's definitely getting easier. I've been working out everyday and I've never felt better. I'm very excited for Christmas break too. I teach so I'm looking forward to some much needed time off.

I hope everyone is having a great week. I don't know if I'll be able to post until after Christmas...so Happy Holidays to everyone.

Isn't it just so horrid having nice summery weather for Christmas Day Oz. 26 degrees (celcius) here is going to be lovely. We are planning on eating outside under the gazebo and feasting on seafood and salads. I'm hoping to fit in a long walk before hand as the gym is closed on Sunday. How inconvenient is THAT!

Didn't want to jinx it I guess. haha...SO I'LL TAKE IT!!! All of you were so right.....time, patience and perserverance!!!! THANKYOU for all your support!!!!
I finished ALL my wrapping last night... but need a few sweets for the boys in their Christmas stocking. Not much mind you as they still have their halloween bag still full. Then I'm off to the gym. WOOHOOO
Have a great day!!!......its almost Christmas.

KathyHegg....sure sure rub it in!!! lol, but exactly how nice is it to eat a turkey and all the trimmings while the sweat is dripping off your nose? Do you really eat seafood on Christmas? actually, that sounds like heaven!!

Y'all can run, but you can't hide! First you move the thread, then I can't remember my password. Talk about diet sabotage!

I haven't lurked in a while so I've been catching up tonight.
Charles - you're amazing!
Teacherlady - you go girl!
All y'all Aussies - I'm so jealous! Here's how next week looks for me...Texas (not too chilly) - Oklahoma (colder) - Iowa (COLD) - Wisconsin (COLD) (Why couldn't I have married an Aussie?)

Christmas is hard on me - it's a constant struggle not to take my emotions & turn to my old "friend" this time of year. Normally I would pack on some major pounds right now, but instead I've actually lost a few!

Have a Merry Christmas - y'all drive safe!

Well I've done Christmas with all the Turkey and baked veges etc, and we had the air conditioner going full blast. As for having seafood for Christmas lunch, I'd say that probably half of Australia would be doing it. Of course that means that the price of seafood rises considerably. but hey, its healthy and all being fresh its relatively low fat.

Last night I was driving to the store and was coming up to a house (down a dark country side road) that was sooo decorated with ton's of lights.....shooting stars, trees, manger, house trimmed etc etc....well as I got closer, there the owner was dressed up in a SANTA SUIT WAVING TO ALL THE CARS!!! What a sight!!! I started tooting my horn and waving....now THAT is fun!!!

I got an early Christmas present this morning....DOWN ANOTHER POUND!!! Somethings gotten into my scale!!!....but I'll take it. I haven't had a chance to finish my food journal for yesterday but it seems like I'm sure eating alot!!

Merry Christmas to everyone!! and if you're travelling, be safe! Happy Holidays and Joyeux Noel!!
