Awesome that he still works out with you even if he doesn't have that much to lose Supportive signifcant others ftw. My fiancee has bad ankles so I don't force him to walk with me, he is bigger than me but really don't need to lose much weight, he's a really big guy. Giant! He could lose maybe 30 pounds then if he lost anymore he'd look weird, despite weighing 310.

I like being red. Such a vibrant, sexy color imo. I always feel like a scarlet woman when I wear red. Now I want to go buy a red slinky dress when I hit goal

Yeah, mtiger, I hear ya about the difficulty in losing and keeping off weight at my age.....like cruiseCat I am 44 heading into a fitter 45 hoping for a fantastic 50 like Bette K!

It is hard, but already I have accomplished much and can see and feel the rewards! Not that losing weight cures everything--but it doesn't hurt things, that's for sure, lol! And yes, Kelleigh, I also hear you about the multiple "chins"!!! Starting to see the last of them go now, thank god----just a little bit longer and hopefully gone for good!!!

Cool Early Birds . . . Worms . . . etc.

Hi Red Team . . .
I impressed myself by getting up almost early enough to do a WW low-impact aerobics workout this morning (um, I was kinda late for work since I did the workout, but isn't my health supposed to come first? ). And to top if off, I just came back from the gym and did 35 minutes on the treadmill. It was only 1.84 miles but it's better than a week ago when I could only do 1.47 miles in 30 minutes.

Hope everyone is off to a FANTASTIC start!

Hello Everyone!
I am a 26 year old female from Seattle, WA. I am a social worker by profession. I was 215 lbs 5 years ago, and then in 2005 I lost 90+ pound to put me at 120. Since then I have gained 30 pounds back and would like to reclaim my previous loss. My goal is to reach this point by June 30th when my brother will be getting married and I'll be seeing many people that I haven't seen in a long time. I'm looking forward to making some good headway towards that goal on this challenge.

Well I couldn't help myself so I just purchased DDR for the Wii, I look forward to that when it gets delivered, I loved my old dancing games but they were PS2. Such great exercise!

How is everyone doing with a positive outlook for the new year? I'm loving the 'fresh start' January always brings and am looking forward to the weekends challenge of not binging which is always hard for me after christmas and all the choccies!!
Maybe I need a snack attack plan! Any ideas my fellow Redsters?

Hello all. This is my first BL challenge. I tried one before, but just wasn't quite ready to do all that it takes. However, I'm totally committed to losing the weight this time around. I'm a mom of two and have been married for 5 years. My husband is also trying to lose weight so that helps tremendously. I plan on adding in exercise some time this week, but I don't know exactly what I'm going to do. My goal for this challenge is to lose 10% of my weight which would put me at losing 19 lbs. We'll see what happens.

Looks like everyone had a great day yesterday, lets keep it going.

I am still weighing in at 191, pardon the TMI but if I could go poo, I would weighless. It was been days, I am eating bran, yogurt, taking a probiotic supplement(which has always done the trick in less than 12hours), veggies, drinking water. Nothing is working. I have some Correctols in the cabinet but that is too harsh for my system. I am bloated, gassy and feeling miserable.

Good morning Red Team. Happy Tuesday. How is everyone doing?

Hang in there Willow; it will all work its way out eventually.

Today is the third day of the second month of my new lifestyle. I am falling into the comfort zone, and exercise is harder to get to and get through, food is easier to justify, and nothing is sorting out so the stress level is sky high.
Higher then than before in fact, since I might actually have a new home soon, but I still can't get a mortgage. I hate banks. You would think that someone who wants to buy a house they can afford and but 22% down would be the kind of client banks would flip over..

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a better time than me.

knobhdy - Sorry you're having such a hard time getting a mortgage, they're probably just scared at the moment. It's the same round where I live, offer them a hefty deposit and they act like a scared hamster being offered food, it's infuriating.

Hey Red Team! It's so great to see all y'all doing well. I know if we can all keep up our enthusiasm we can beat BLUE!!

Had a great breakfast this morning (plain oatmeal with banana and walnuts and a glass of milk). I've got all the rest of my food for the day (with the exception of dinner--not sure what to fix yet. Maybe something with ground chicken?)

I'll be back later!

Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is having a good day so far! I didn't get my 40 minutes on the treadmill in yesterday, but I have high hopes that I will still get my 200 minutes in for this week. I will just increase my time a little for the rest of the week. I am looking forward to TBL tonight, it always motivates me to get up during the advertisements and exercise!

Good morning RED team.

I'm one of those that really needs to get my workout in first thing in the morning. By 9am I have already been up for 5-6 hours (that's right up between 3am and 4am) and if I don't work out by noon I have no motivation and want to nap; working out gives me the energy I need to get through the day.

RangerChic - Hope you don't mind but I snagged your TBL Proud Team Red Member graphic.

Glad that everything is doing so well.

Willow - Try not to worry to much. I'm sure everything will work itself out.

Knobhdy - Sorry to hear about not being able to get a mortgage. Seems to me that a bank would jump on the fact that you're putting down 22%. Who knows though?
