Yeah blues team we won again.. and josephine you animal biggest loser again.. wow .. there has to be something sadi about vegetrainism.. lol hey were you a veggie before you tryed to lose weight ? or have you always been one..?

lol nori hey you could get some equipment that folds and stores under the bed couldnt you?? .. what a pain.. in the bum no room for equipment .. mine is going into our family room atm i have the kids mini soccer table in there that can go and i can put it there .. i usually have my elliptical infront of the tv .. which is inline with my bedroom door and in front of the outside sliding doors .. ( which we dont use to go in and out ).. here is a pic to show where i mean.. this is the floor plan from when we built on and the furniture how i planned and now have it .. lol i plan everything before i do it with furniture so i know how its gonna work .. lol yep im a freak i know

so yeah im gonna put the treadmill in front of the outside doors again until i can afford the elliptical.. there is a power point behind the couch and one by the soccer table so it will work well.. i think.. The tv is in that brown cabinet in there so i dont htink i can put both machines in view of it.. . maybe ill whell them over to where the soccer table is ( mum is gonna have it at her house i think) and leave them there until i use them and put them in front of the tv.. ill have to see.. the couch cant be moved.. its a huge modular thing .. so the exercise stuff will have to ..

my house used to be small and all our furniture minus the familt room stuff was squished into the house lol before we built on .. Leah room now was our room and in there we had the furniture in the study too , desk filing cabinet and bookcase then our bed a tallboy and the bedsides ( the tallboy is now in the shed lol) .. Leah had the study as her room.. and you could barely fit her bed in there and she had her wardrobe and tallboy too ( her wardrobe as sold becuase our room had built in cupboards and the tallboy is in the cupboard.. )and where the doors are now to the family room was her window the soccer table was in the middle of camerons bedroom and you could hardlt get around it .. so it was tiny house with too much stuff .. we built on in the begining of last year and it was complete in april last year.. it has made a huge difference to the way we live.. but we have no heating or cooling in the new part of the house ..

Yes, I was a fat vegetarian -- it is easy to be a fat anything as far as I can tell. But I'm am a new vegan (I went vegan in April), so perhaps removing dairy and eggs from my meals has helped me control cravings better, I don't know. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. I do like how I physically feel better as a vegan.

Big milestone for me this morning, I dropped into the 150s! I was 159 even on the scale when I got up! Yeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaw! That gave me some extra get-up-and-go while I was out for my morning run! I was practically bursting with the news!

"Hi, Mr. Seagull, do you see me running? Yes? Well, I'm 159! That's right, I'm a 159-weighing-running machine!"

"Oh hello Mr. Raccoon! Have you heard I'm 159? No? WELL I AM! What do you think about that you little trash-can tipper, you?!?"

"Excuse me, Mrs. Blue Heron, but surely you can tell that I'm no longer in the 160s! Just thought I'd point that out. ONE-FIDDY-NINE! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

So, um, yeah. You guys already knew I was a bit nutty, right? I didn't just give anything away, right?

Josephine --- We always new you were a little off, but now we realize that "little" was just so not the right word when it comes to your mental issues, your body yes (congrats on the 159), but your mind NO.

that is awesome!! Congrats.

On my runs, I want to start carrying a pistol. I am tired of people speeding through the neighborhood. I want to shoot out their tires. I am pretty sure I would only have to do a couple before everyone complied.

COOL Amy! I'm so jealous, I'm like Nori I barely have room for the stuff in our house that we need much less exercise equipment. I do have a treadmill, but it's in the back garage. I'm lucky my hubby lets me take up some space in his garage.

Interesting article Nori. I've never tried Pilates before, I always feel like a whale trying to move around on the floor. I really need to start working on my strength training, because I don't want to lose all this weight just to be flabby, I want to be toned!

Well, I had a pretty good OP day yesterday. I've been really good a tracking my calories (I switched from WW for something different). I'm feeling pretty good. Plus I went to get my haircut yesterday and I was telling my hairdresser that I originally wanted to grow out my hair to donate it to Locks of Love, but I just couldn't take it being long anymore because I couldn't do anything with it. She told me that it was long enough to donate, but it would make my hair a lot shorter than I'm used to. I felt like I really needed a change, plus donating it was something I really wanted to do, so I DID IT! I'm sending in my hair today to Locks of Love and I feel great after my haircut. I feel like I kind of got a brand new start. I will have to post pics later, because I'm at work and I don't have a camera. I LOVE it!

Well, gotta get to work, but I will try to check in later.

GO BLUE!!!

I really need some help.

I am a former LAWL / Pure Weight Loss client and continue to use their plans to help me manage mt portions and food types for the day. I am presently doing Purple with lites, according to my center (before they shut down) I am supposed to go to Gold with Lites when I get to 190. On both these plans, here is what I get:
2 Proteins
4 Veggies
3 Fruits
2 Starches
1 Dairy
1 Fat
2 Lite (these are Luna Bars)

When I move to the Gold, my portion sizes go down, for example, instead of 6 oz of beef, I will get 4 oz, instead of 8 oz of chicken, I get 6 oz, but I am not there yet.

I am exercising ALOT more than I was when my center was open and now I seem to be stalling out on my weight loss. I had a little bit of bad time where I was not eating POP, but I was not too far off plan to be considered totally off plan. But I am once again eating POP (with the occasional day where I am short a veggie, but good everywhere else) and journaling to make sure I am on track, but my weight loss seems to still be a little stalled.

I am concerned that I may not be eating enough. I tried giving myself an extra Fruit and and extra 1/2 a protein when I do a heavy workout (more than 50 minutes in a day), but that doesn't seem to be helping either.

I need some advice. I am at a lose and concerned that my body is trying to hold on it's fat for a rainy day because I am not feeding it enough, but I am also concerned that if I am wrong then I will be eating too much and continue to gain.

I don't know if I should change plans or not and if so, then what do I change too.

HELP! PLEASE!!

Kelly - you have such SO much weight, I am a big fan of yours. I really admire your determination, I can't recommend anything on your diet - because you ARE doing awesome. I have almost no control with food, I am - 'better foods, smaller choices, move more' - That's my diet, although it only allows for about 2 lbs of weight loss a month.

Vix - first off I love the avatar, you just look so happy. Secondly, thanks for the kudos. I know I have done well and I am excited to be in real girl clothes, not big girl clothes, but I need to make sure I reach my goal this time instead of almost there and quit. I have done that before and it just leads me back to massive weight gain.

I have lost of wants, I want to be a size 10, I want to be under 175 lbs by my birthday, BUT I also have needs.

I need to be able to play with my VERY active son, I need to never be an embarissment to him or to me, I need to have people see my not the shell as so meany people have problems getting past that, I need to never wear clothes that have a W or and X FOLLOWING the size, I need to be healthy enough to see my DS grow-up.

I REFUSE TO QUIT ... I REFUSE TO GO BACK TO WHAT I HATED ... I REFUSE TO FAIL 1 MORE TIME. This is my mantra. I know with all the help you all have given and will continue to give, we can figure this out.

THANKS!

Morning everyone
Today is supposed to be hot and humid

Nothing much to report as of right now. I know it's boring I did go for my first Cardio Tennis class last night and it was fun. Although after we came home little after 10 I was SO tired. We started the class 5 mins late. The instructor was barely out of high school kid and easy to follow. We had only 6 people in our group which was good cuz we all got plenty of time to play tennis. The only thing was I wished the class was more organized. It turned out that it was his first time teaching this Cardio Tennis class and Tennis Patrons organization didn't tell him much except that he'll be teaching that class. So day 1 was kinda "ok what do we do next?" We altered between playing/learning tennis and some cardio exercises. I'm hoping next week is going to be a little better.

Jo, interesting post and congrats on saying goodbye to the 160s forever!!!
Amy, it's great news you found a treadmill for a good price. We got one few months ago and needed to create a space as we don't have much. Happy for ya
Kelly, I've read that once you start exercising more and increase the food intake appropriately it takes about few weeks to get the body to adjust to the new routine and when the body realizes it's getting enough food and does not need to store extra you'll start losing again. But you have to give it time to adjust. So initially you will gain if you increased the calories cuz you increased your exercise. Give it some time. You're doing so well and have a great attitude keep up the good work.
Jen, glad you got a new haircut. A change is good at times Definitely share pictures when you get a chance.

Jill, How are you doing?
Rhonda, how are you feeling? I read you got cramps?

Hi everyone! Another busy day at work...can't wait for next week for a long weekend! Of course, that just means trying to figure out how to cram extra work into fewer days....oh well, it always work out one way or another!

Jo--Great job!!!!

Jennifer--Good for you! I can't wait to see pics! I donated my hair a couple of years ago and am thinking about doing it again. I bet it looks great!

Rhonda--How are you doing?

I am off to my drs appt soon. I hope I get some answers.

I also need to make a hair appt soon....not sure what I want to do w/ it, so I have been putting it off, but it is really driving me crazy, so it is time!

I actually did LAWL too. I did it before I found out I was preggo with my son. I think that it will take some time for your body to get used to the extra food/exercise. I always felt too restricted on the LAWL diet (even though it does work). Give it a bit and see if your body adjusts. Good Luck! You are my hero!!!!

Pinto- Cool Cardio Tennis! Hope the next class goes a little more smoothly for you.

Rhonda-How are you doing?

Good morning, Bluesers!

Dee - How are you? Is the sinus stuff clearing up any? We miss you.
MJ - Hope work eases up for you soon and I hope the doctor can provide some answers.
Fran - I keep hearing awesome things about pilates. One day soon, I'll have to look into it. My daughter's chorus teacher has been taking pilates for a couple of years and has 4pack abs. I think that's so cool.
Amy - Congrats on the new elliptical and treadmill!
Josephine - Congratulations! Your excitement is contagious...I want the 150's, too!
Anna - You + pistol....I don't know. That might be extremely dangerous!
Jennifer - you went from long to incredibly short? Wow! I can't wait to see the pics.
Kelly - I'm sorry that I know nothing about LAWL to help you. I hope the weight starts coming off again for you soon.
Anjuli - Sorry to hear that cardio tennis wasn't very organized, but glad to hear that you did get a workout.

Today is on-plan day 4. Yesterday was a good day. I stayed at 1500 calories and did my walk. I didn't make it through the full 3.9 miles as I got caught with bad stomach cramps about 2/3 of the way into it. I ended up with a bad case of diarrhea. I have no idea what brought it on. Today, I need to concentrate on drinking the water. The last couple of days, I've felt very tired. I want to see if the water helps.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day.

Go Blue!

Kelly - why don't you hop over to maintainers and ask your question. They've all been in your spot before (Anna kinda is also) and I'm sure they'd have some ideas. I do think you're at the point in the game where you do need to mix things up. Work at maintaining for a few weeks and then kick it into high gear again. I really do not know. Because sadly last time I lost 100+ pounds I just starved myself to get there. I'm bowing before you! You are amazing!!

Amy - I don't' have any room under my beds! JK! Actually, I prefer working out at the gym. I have full access to weight lifting equipment and I spend nearly as much time on that side of the gym as I do on the cardio equipment. Now that my gym recently upgraded - to the tune of 10 million dollars - the possibilities are limitless. There is too much for me to do now!! Love it!!

Josephine - Congratulations! You are hilarious.

Rhonda - look at you, all OP for 4 days! WTG! Glad you are feeling better now!

Well, I'm off to the gym. Hopefully it's a bad day on Wall Street and nosy man will not be there!!
