off the treadmill, on the road

I believe that we have spring, finally. That means no treadmill unless there is torrential rain. I ran two miles yesterday. I had been doing intervals to get back in the groove, and I was able to easily do my two yesterday with no discomfort this morning. I think I will start the one-hour runner program in June.

Morning Chickadees and Chickadudes!

I ate horribly this weekend. It was so bad that I didn't even log my stuff so I'm gonna have to do it today.

But that was then and this is now so that's that!

Starting weights are starting to pour in, looks like I'm gonna be busy building teams today since the weather is going to be horrible...

Starting business law class tonight and I'm so not thrilled...

I'll be back later!

Hi everyone, figured I would stop in and introduce myself to all of you who I haven't "met" yet. I'm Sommer, but you can call me Fawn. I'm a homeschooling stay at home mom to 3 wild monkeys (ages 9b, 3g, 2b). I have a fabulous hubby who has been employed as my "pusher" for this challenge. He is already working hard at his job

Anyway I look forward to getting to know you all!!

Just wanted to pop in and say HI!!

I am excited to be joining TBL challenge this time...I always seem to miss that deadline somehow, so I'm glad I got my name in there ON TIME!

a little background--
Had gastric bypass surgery in July of 2005 and I've lost about 120 pounds. I am at a plateau and I've been here for over a year now. I want to lose another 30 pounds or so.

VERY EXCITED to be here!!!!

Woo, getting closer to the start! I'm excited about it too, being new to the whole TBL challenge thing!!

My sister just called me, she found out she's having a boy in September... Hurray for more little kids to chase around! (Well, I knew she was pregnant, but finding out the sex is just SO exciting!) I think I'll make him a little baby blanket...

The weather here was gorgeous Saturday, I got my vegetable garden in the ground. We don't have a whole lot of space but we made do. A couple of zucchini plants, some tomatoes, herbs, and wax beans. It was great fun and hard work too, but I sure do love that sense of accomplishment every time I pass it by!

Hope everyone's having a great start to their weeks!

OnTheTee - I just wanted to check in with all the earthquakes going on in Illinios (I understand we are up to 18 in 3 days now) that you are doing ok. I hope Meara is doing well too. I am going to check out the Writing Diet book you mentioned.

Thanks!

Noticed you are in VA too. I am in Northern VA Suburbs (Stafford). It was wonderful on Saturday, but all I can say about yesterday and today is I hope your veggies don't drown in all this rain

Hi everyone - I've been here at 3FC for a while now, but have never done a TBL challenge. But, I've let me weight slip and could use a little extra motivation to help keep on track through the summer. So, the timing of this was perfect for me!

I look forward to finding out what team I'm on, and getting to know you all better!

I snuck on the scale and I'm up...oh well. I plan to weigh in Saturday morning. I hope that looks better. Good news is this is Day 28 of being binge free.

I'm in Woodbridge (well, working in Chantilly, living in Woodbridge). My puppies did NOT enjoy their very first thunderstorms yesterday

I'm in Newport News, VA so I'm closer to the beach!

We didn't get any thunder until around 11 pm or later... they kept calling for hail but it ended up staying in North Carolina....

Today however is more rain and we are getting more tomorrow.... looks like the flower beds wont be happening until this weekend.
----------------------------

I just looked at the list after lunch and I realized we had 253 people sign up this round!

I hope you all are prepared to post in you chat threads, they are gonna move really quick in the beginning but as things thin out it will get better I promise.

I noticed a few people were wondering about a fourth team since we have so many people. We only have 3 teams because of an arrangement with the 3FC's that allow all of us to moderate our own team threads and challenge stuff. So I can't just nominate a fourth team or anything. We usually lose over half of the challenge participants before the finale, so a fourth team is not necessary.

Please make sure you post your starting weight in the weigh in thread before the deadline! I know some people posted there's in the sign up thread and I can't use those numbers or numbers posted anywhere else! Thanks!

I pass you everyday on my way to work. Our dogs were fine, one is deaf and blind, and the other just got in his crate a went to sleep.

Nice to see a nice group of VA folks out on the challange.

I did not even feel the one last night. I am not sure it even reached all the way to Indy.

Somewhere in your Excel-extravaganza, do you have our percentage retention from last challenge?
