Hey Red team and potential Red team members! I just wanted to let you all know that when the next challenge starts there are alot of us who are going to be going through Trainer Bob's new book "Are you Ready" and working through it together. Just wanted to give you the heads up in case you wanted to grab a copy and go through it too. I'm sure we'll have lots to talk about dealing with the book, and even more that is not book related. So don't feel like you HAVE to get the book to participate. Can't wait to see who makes the mighty RED team!!

I believe the blue and black teams are planning on doing this too.

It doesn't take 45 min to take a shower and shave your legs? Huh...

Just kidding....I'm "tree hugger", "spotted owl" friendly sitting up here in the NW. I put energy saving light bulbs through the house 7 years ago and they are all still in place. We have some sort of thermo/hot water/weird science type of heating through house, rarely kick on the heat and have no a/c....just bought the H.E. front loading washers and dryer and turned the Hummer into a water park for the neighborhood kids. Again, just kidding, there are no kids in my neighborhood.

Happy Wednesday Folks ! ! !

Beth - of course you can brag...30lbs? Way to go.....

Purple - I know nothing about dreams, but I know the feeling you are describing. Stay strong and give those in your dream an extra hug today...they might look at your weird, but it's ok.

ArmyWife - sounds like you have a plan for success, I know you are going to kick to tail in this challenge. Also, a couple of days ago someone wanted you to send along their thanks to your husband for his dedicated service to our country. Please, you and anyone else reading this who has a husband, wife, son, daughter, friend, neighbor, etc., do thank them for me also. The jobs they do, the risks they take for us is so very important, and greatly appreciated.

Onthe tee - 6 cu yards o'dirt....how come you get to have all the fun?

Girlygirl - yep, I'm doing it...I've even said it out loud at home...there were hesitant stares, but all was well once I explained that I wasn't leaving my current job until I had a solid plan and possible new job in the new career secured. The good news is, I have 25 years of IT experience and I have a degree in Elementary Education (certified in KY, OH, IN, and WA). If this doesn't work out I have skills to fall back on. The bad news is, I have been checking all the career and job seekers boards for openings as a "millionaire" and nobody has posted any of those positions lately.

Diva - AM I TYPING TOO LOUD??? Sorry about your bummer of a day...hope today turns out better. Also, I saw Jillian on "Days" (through the magic of the DVR), that "big loser" line made me laugh also. I used to be a faithful Days watcher (probably one of the reasons I had to repeat a couple of those college courses)...the only person on the show I recognized was Maggie...where was Marlena, where was Rachel (oh wait, Rachel was "Another World").

dixie - isn't that the way? While I am sure you appreciated what you got, you spend so much time with your workmates you would think they would know a little bit about what they could do to really show their appreciation. 7 years I have worked here, the most common "thank you" I get is a coffe card....I have never bought/drank a cup of coffee in my life. But I say thank you and mail the card to my sister. Again, the "thank yous" really are appreciated.

zinke - Dorito's in the trash? I hope you have a better day today.

EVERYONE ELSE - burning calories, doing stuff...keep up the good work, this is going to be a FANTASTIC challenge.

Vanetta, I think Marlena has gone away (off camra) to rethink her life with John Black. he's gone through a major personality change and isn't the same man he once was. He doesn't remember who he was, so she is sad.

I have not watched days since about 19XX (whenever John Black came on the seen as "Roman" or vice versa), and I am pretty sure the same was true then.

OK, I just bought Bob's book online a few minutes ago. I'm excited to read it and discuss it with you guys, but feeling a little guilty about spending the money. Oh well. We'll call it my 30 pound reward.

I welcomed my 11th grandchild, 9th grandson into the world this morning a litle after 3. He weighed in at 7-10 and is 19" long. He is certainly a cutie patootie. I welcomed grandchild #10, 8th grandson into the world 9 weeks ago. That one was a toddler. He weighed in at 10-14 and was 24" long. He's already in 6 - 9 mos. clothes. It'll be a nice change to have a "newborn" around.

Hence the late night at the hospital there was no exercise yesterday and I'm afraid to say probably not today. My eating was all over the place too. Maybe I can get back on track tomorrow. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

Have a great Wednesday.

My oldest was 11 even and 23.5 inches. Those deliveries are never fun. We totally skipped the newborn and 3-month clothes.

Hello everyone! I am signed up to join the challenge and I just wanted to say "hi". As you can see, I've been around for a while but not had much success. I look forward to seeing some results this time around, I'm off to a good start. Nice to meet you all!
