Good Morning Red team!! Sheesh I feel like I'm neglecting my team lately because I never have time to respond to everyone! But as usual I'm flying by the seat of my pants. Have I ever said how much I hate Tuesdays and Thursdays!
Today will be my first attempt at finding fast food that I can eat. My youngest has a luncheon in her classroom today and I have always allowed my girls their pick of "special" lunch for these things. I have no intentions whatsoever of straying off plan though, I've worked my tail off this week just to make up for my splurging last week. Alright, the oldest one is ready to go, so we are off! Have a fantastic day today everyone!! Tomorrow is weigh in day for me...yippee! LOL! |

I'm just busy bookbinding. I have 2 art shows in 4 and 5 weeks so I have to bust ***... but I'm getting over a dry spell art wise so that's good. Half the reasons I do the shows it to scare myself into being productive. I think the glue smell is getting to me today so it was time for a break. My weight isn't moving this week and it's annoying the heck out of me. Guess I lost too much the last 4 weeks. Normally I'm only about 10lbs a month. -muse |
Hey muse!!! Gosh I'm so glad to see you this morning!! Although, it looks like you were up in the wee hours!! LOL...did you get a nice long break from the glue? 10lbs a month is pretty darn fantastic, I'd say doing more than that your body is gonna need to catch up! Way to go though!!

I've been crazy busy, plus the fiber optic line to my area was cut by some contractor down south (once again) so we've been without internet access. Plus no banking, and the computers at work, the shops, and everywhere go down when this happens--it's a real pain. BUT I've been eating pretty well and exercising. I felt crummy when I got up this morning, but had a date with Leslie and that made me feel much better. Keep your fingers crossed for me, ladies, because I think I might make goal this week. Keep going everyone! |

Ann..I think I'd die if all the computer lines were down LOL!! OMG...almost to goal! I cant wait to see that post!!! You can do it!! this is the week!!! Well, I'm in a really pissy mood now! I'm the pta president for my youngest daughters school so it falls on me to find volunteers for different pta functions. Well today was hearing screening and I rounded up 2 volunteers to take care of it, even talked to one of them last night at 8pm to confirm, left messages for the other. Well I get a call this morning at 830 (when the volunteers were supposed to be there) from the school telling me...no volunteers...so off I go to do it myself. So aggrivating! I'm just the type of person where if I say I'm gonna do something I do it, and if something happens that I cant, I do not wait till the last minute to let someone know, or just not show up at all. I had planned on spending my entire morning in a quiet house getting ahead on my tax homework so I could focus on a paper I have due next week. So my whole plan was shot and I'm behind again. Sorry to unload on you...just needed to vent that out! I'm so riding my bike to class..rain or no rain..just to work off my frustrations LOL! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, please find a minute or 2 to let us know how you are doing. |

Diva, stay strong, it's a 24 hour job, but we can do it! I had a so-so day yesterday. I was a little down in the dumps. I didn't eat just tons of food, but made the wrong choices. AF is also in town, so that might have had something to do with it. Today I've been doing really well. I started out the day with some yoga, then I took the baby to the park where we ran 28 minutes! That's my longest ever, I was really proud. Ithink the weather being so cool had something to do with it. My next goal is 30 minutes. I also have a 5k at the end of the month, so I hope to be able to do that as well. I hope everyone has a great day! |

I'm here. I got back from Richmond about an hour ago. I did well. I got veggie soup and chicken and broccoli (sp?). I didn't eat the rice that came with it. Next week and the following week I will be at two separate conferences so I need to be really careful. I will take snacks with me and do the best I can.

Well I weighed in this morning and I'm down 5 lbs from last saturday...too bad 4 of it was a gain! So I'm gonna wait another day before posting my weight...see if i cant eek out a little more today! Well I woke up to a surprise today! My dear sweet hubby to be's Mom, G'ma, sister and neice surprised us with a visit. They drove ALL the way down to TN from North Eastern PA just to visit with us for a day and drive back up tomorrow! LOL! Who does that?! But it was a very nice visit. We all decided together that it would be easier and more convenient for everyone if we wait and get married up there on the 4th of July weekend, because we are up there every year anyways. So we have changed the wedding date. This works for me too because it gives me MORE time to lose weight and at this rate I could actually be to goal or damn near it by then!!!!

HI ALL!, I'm doing good, just survived a week from ****. I had to do my job plus another ladies. I'm very proud of myself, I had to go to work two hours earlier than normal and still managed to exercise everyday. I can't remember if I posted this earlier, but I'VE FALLEN IN LOVE! With running that is...I used to ocassionally do it and now I have a craving for it. Used to crave sweets but now I can't seem to resist running, all apart of the NEW & IMPROVED ME. Everyone keep up the good work! THE RED TEAM ROCKS.

Diva...so glad you had a nice visit and got a little stress relief. You can definetly be at goal by then, and looking SMOKIN I might add! Bridgette...that is so exciting!! Way to go on turning your life around! Not sure if I'll ever crave exercise but I wont turn it down if it happens thats for sure LOL!! Keep up the great work, I hope this week is less hellish for you! No big numbers for me to report this week. But still a little loss nonetheless. Hey Red Team! No loss for me this week, but I did go buy some new clothes, all in a smaller size than last time I bought anything (August)! So I guess I'm doing something right, even though the scale is NOT moving.

sorry red team I had a bad week and no loss for me. I am glad that I didn't gain :o. I am trying to get back my motivation it has been hard with all the stuff going on in my life. I am going to do my watp video right now and then go to bed early so I can get up and exercise before my dh goes to work.

Looks like this is gonna be our slow week Red team, Veronica, Kellie and I are in that wait for the body to catch up mode! Its okay...we are still kickin some butt girls! Do you realize how much weight we've lost so far? 117 lbs! Can you believe that! Thats more than a 7th grader!
So what kind of goals do you girls have this week? My goal is to take the time to retake my measurements. Also to pick up the exercise. I'm thinking I should be able to do something...SOMETHING...5 times this week. What are you going for? ~melissa |
My goal this week is to get that water in...I've been doing horrible in that area. Also to stay OP despite all of the temptations that will come my way this week. I've done some pre-planning so hopefully that will help.

Preplanning is going to help you!! Failing to plan is like planning to fail! You can do it!! Just remember your goals, when the temptations hit, remind yourself why you are doing this!!

Hi everyone. I've been trying to catch up on all the posts. I know I've been absent for a bit, but I'm back. I didn't lose this week, which I wasn't surprised. I haven't been working out. I need to really focus and get back on track.

Only 1 pound this week. I've been on and off the scale all week and I really thought it would be more. Oh well, 1 pounds is good. I think I may stay off the scale this week. That way I will be excited when its time for weigh in. I am still not able to exercise for another 3 weeks so it may continue to be 1 pound or maintenance for the next 3 weeks. Once I start exercising then I will lose more.

My goals this week are to: Weigh myself once and forget the scale exsist Exercise everyday, even if only 30 minutes Stay on the plan Last week I did good M-W and then I weiged myself everyday) and by Wednesday hadn't dropped anything, got discouraged and all my good plans went straight out the window. I did the soup thing for 3 days pretty much and didn't lose anything, and I sometimes wonder why am I putting myself through this when I clearly can't lose... I dunno, maybe it was the sodium? Anywho....Now that I have more time to lose this weight, it doesn't seem like such a "hurried" thing, so I am going to relax and just do this. I haven't had the courage to take it outside since I fell and I think my theighs have gotten bigger. Exercising indoors is all fine and dandy, but I don't own a treadmill or anything like that yet, and I just feel like I am working myself harder treading my butt up and down these hills. So crossing fingers...I hope I don't chicken out...again... |
Looks like this is a slow body catch up week for most of us... to be expected though we've all been doing well it needs that adjustment time. I'm down -1 this week which given my loss the last few weeks I'm happy enough with.
Law - better fitting clothes means you've lost fat just maybe not lbs... which is GREAT because fat loss is what we all want in reality! Been busy myself this week - my shows are coming up sooner then later so I've been down in the studio a lot. Have a good week! -muse |

Diva....no sense in torturing yourself in this journey. Sometimes when you really restrict yourself you end up making things worse because your body holds on for dear life. Its hard to grasp, for me anyway, that you really HAVE to eat to lose weight. You've got time, you'll reach goal....eating less and moving more thats the only way to go! OMG! I completely forgot that I ordered this, but a few weeks ago when I ordered the Women's Health magazine, I also ordered the "The Wedding Workout" & "Train For Your Body Type" with "Jessica Smith DVD's! I'm so excited! So I get to chicken out a lil' longer with the outside thing and do this Wedding DVD! It's cardio, plus upper & lower body workout in one! WoooHoooo! I MAY still do the walking thing later this afternoon, if I can talk my kid into going with me, hehe.:D
Forgot to add: I also got a Book called "Body for Life for women" by Pamela Peeke. It say's it's a woman's plan for physical & mental transformation. Anyone ever read it? |

I feel good! I just did the:
Woman's Health- Wedding Day workout 30 minutes Arms & chest and cardio workout. I love the way it's set up. The have the premade workout's, which is best for me and the custome. I did the premade one. They have them set up for daily workouts so there's structure which is exactly what I need right now in the way that I eat and the way I exercise. They have the premade set up into a Strapless dress workout, or a Waist snugging, short cut. I am going for the strapless even though my dress really isn't all that strapless. It goes like this: Mon- Upper body & cardio Tues- Tummy & core & Cardio Wed- Lower body & Cardio Thurs- Upper & cardio Fri- Lower & cardio Sat Upper Sun - rest Problem will be getting dude to go away for 30 minutes or so on Sat's so I can workout, hehe. Shouldn't be too hard. I may still do my 2 mile neighborhood walk too because I just feel like I should be doing a little more. Even though it was challenging and I DID sweat. :) |
BTW, Here's the 2 dresses I am lloking at. I am leaning towards the 2nd one more, but I think they are both beautiful. I'm doing Ivory since this isn't my 1st marriage, hehe...

Yeah, the first site is down right now for some reason. They look very similar, and I have just founf out the first one has a store about 50 miles from here, so I may actually go with the Eden dress instead. Spending that much money, I would just feel better doing this in person, lol!

I'm never sure if yall get tired of hearing me ramble, but I just wanted to check in. :) Today I Did the:
2 mile WATP- 30 minutes (ran in place some) 10 minute Abs (The Wedding Workout) Also staying on track with the food. I even bought a WW meal and dessert for a meal one night this week while the guys have a nice fattening meal, lol. :) |
Diva - Those dresses are beautiful! I like the straps on both of them. I don't have enough up top for those kinds of dresses.
I think either one will look gorgeous. I'd like to see pictures when you do decide to buy it ;) |
