Evening all...so you had to do again. Chilly tonight and possible frost tomorrow night. We have been blessed with such a mild winter down here that we have only had the heat running a few hours last month. But we make up for that with a/c electric payments.

Donna is busy surrounded by her Brit boys. She is finishing up Lovejoy and then will curl up with Doc Martin. Think the posh accents melt her heart!

Karen...I love Myfitnesspal.com It makes me laugh when it tells me if I continue to eat this many calories I will weight such and such by Jan 28th. Heck, I have stayed under 900 calories for 15 (yup FIFTEEN DAYS) days and this morning am down 13 lbs which is below the projected weight. I am not changing my weight until in the 100's.

Played bridge today. I had one of those days where I knew where every card was and played really well. Missed 1st by.5 point. Orthopod apt tomorrow. Please please do my knees asap.

Lynn...looks like my hair cut, too. but with all our different hair colors it looks individualized. Love mine...wash and wear....I blow dry a minute to puff it....

Right now I need Cajun scolding me....am not hungry, am not craving anything special, but I want to dive head first into something and graze. Guess I have the munchies....like so many in Colorado these days.

Who would have thought but my DBF with the 2 cancers has started hellous treatment and no nausea. Doctor thinks a cast iron stomach from years of junk food has helped her......LOL

I have sent her 3 turbins. Sparkles and bangles and bright colors. She said she was wearing them now so nobody will notice when her hair goes.

Gayle...I have a German 2 wheeler which has the chain thingy way low .so I can get my leg over it with out falling over. Looks weird, but lovely to ride...sighhhh....soon maybe.

Rosey...love the wee pizzas. DH says thank you

I ate cake! It's over and done with and next week I will budget for it.
I am shooting for 1200 calories a day.
Guess I need to hit the stores this weekend. I have orders for more scarfs. I truly can't keep up. Good problem to have! I may buy a new couch with the extra cash.

Hi Everyone,

Got to the gym around 6 am. Started to get my Nook & my glasses & realized I had left my glasses home!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH! Came home & did my class. I will go back to gym when I finish this post.

Made my FL plane reservations yesterday. Frontier Airlines has a nice system where each day of the calendar shows the price to fly on that date. I was able to set up a round trip for $185. Karen, I will be arriving on the 11th and returning on the 25th. Should we try to get together?

Going back to JC tomorrow. I am SURE that I will have gained – last visit before Thanksgiving. Cannot wait to get my supply of JC sweet treats. I do MUCH better when I have one to look forward to each day.

I just looked up & out the window – it is snowing!

Have a great day,

Lynn

Hi Bobbi,

I have not worn my hair so short for a LONG time. I am VERY happy with it. Even looks good when I wake up!

Hi Gayle,

Thank you. So far, so good with my class. This is the 2nd time I am using their new system & it is a LOT easier this time.

Hi Karen,

I blow dry only on special occasions. Luckily, with this cut, air drying is enough.

Hi Gramie,

When I make a decision about sweets it is totally about the quality of the sweet. If I decide it is worth the calories, I eat & enjoy. If not, I take a forkful & give the rest away or, if at home, I throw it out.

Good morning ladies. It's a chilly 32 this morning. I feel good this morning. Motivated!! Tomorrow is camp day. Trying to plan my menu for the weekend. We are going to have a cook free weekend. Other camps are cooking Friday and Saturday night. Yay. I'm bringing some vegs with me because they tend to cook a lot of carbs. My youngest brother is coming to spend the weekend with us and hunt. This is the last weekend to hunt. Then dh will rabbit hunt and finally I will camp to relax.

Karen3 did you get over your grazing spree. I didn't yell too loud did I? Lol.

Lynn good luck with your JK weigh in. It may not be as bad as you think. Thinking good thoughts!

Grammie I discovered I'm an all or nothing kinda girl. When I'm dieting it's at 100%. When I fail I give up and binge eat. It takes me long to get back on tract. For you to eat the piece of cake and jump back into your plan is awesome. I'm trying to learn this. I camped this weekend and did mess up Saturday night but the very next meal I was on plan and it didnt hurt me. That's progress!!!

Sorry I'm out of time!! Hi to all
Hugs

Morning...just wasting time until the orthopod appt. Last night I finally got a couple of Lf string cheese and as soon as I sat down Dash was sitting inches from my face sniffing the air and giving me the sad sack stare. My graze after laughing hysterically was a bite for me a bite for him. Stayed on plan with Dash/Donna hitting me and Cajun yelling in my ear...best behavior modification I have ever experienced.

Lynn...I'll know more later today about what is my Feb schedule.

Time for a shower and use silly putty on my face

ps 3pm...yop need new knees but need cardio doc clearance. No problem as he has been aware of my knee problems(he has same wonky knees and same orthopod)

Hi Rosey,

You inspired me. I just had an eggplant/tomato pizza. The trick was to get everything hot at the same time. I heated a thin slice of eggplant & several thin slices of tomato in a little olive oil in my fry pan. At the same time, I heated a whole wheat tortilla in paper towel in the microwave. Put the veggies on the tortilla & covered with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Put the whole thing on some aluminum foil & stuck in my toaster oven (on broil) until the cheese melted. Sprinkled some salt & pepper on it & voila! - an eggplant/tomato pizza!

Thank you for the idea.

Lynn

Good evening---Karen, so glad that you like myfitnesspal... I really like it and it just seems so easy. That makes you want to keep using it. I try to keep my calories under 1200 and so far I have been able to do it. Most of the time I am under 1000 which works for me.

Super cold here today--wasn't supposed to be and temperature wise it was like 50 but the wind was terrible.. Made it feel like it was 30!! But took my little Mustang and made it to bible study-- looking forward to the nice weather when I can put the top down. .Shoot it hasn't even been warm enough to put the top down in the driveway to get pictures! I'm so ready for spring!

Busy day today and I am super tired.. think I'll try to make it an early night but wanted to stop in and at least say Hello to everyone.

Take care and maybe tomorrow will be a better night to post.

Hey gg's. Pack day. Going to the camp this afternoon when I get off work. My youngest brother is coming to spend the weekend with us.
Diet still going good. Let's hope I can do well this weekend. I'm trying to remember if I mess up to jump right back on the next meal. You'd think I would have learned this by now.

Be back later!!
Hugs

K3...Dash Rules!

Busy morning for me, going to Y, then Walmart to find a little bed for our new puppy. We purchased him yesterday, they had 3 females and 1 male. I had a cute little female picked out with a petite face but was told all the females bark. The chubby male doesn't bark so we took him instead. He'll get bigger than the girls but we don't care, he's cute. We named him Oliver or Ollie for short. Charlie likes him and the little guy isn't intimidated by Charlies size.

Hi Everyone,

Got weighed at JC this morning – up 2 pounds since before Thanksgiving/Christmas/month in FL. I am hoping I can lose at least 1 by my weigh-in next week.

Going back to my nutrition/exercise tracker Diet Power to make sure I am keeping on track.

Have a GREAT day!

Lynn

Hi Cajun,

Not too bad – up just 2 lbs since before Thanksgiving.

About getting back on track –
Here are my best 10 ideas to get "back on track"

1) Go find someone on any 3FC Board who is in trouble & give them 10 ideas.

2) Go to www.dwlz.com & spend some time playing around there.

3) While you are in www.dwlz.com, download Weight Commander and spend time playing with it.

4) Make yourself a pot of herbal tea, put it in your best teapot and pour yourself several cups while you are on the computer.

5) Find a good meal recipe that is around 400 cals/serving; make it; package the servings in separate baggies; eat one.

6) Think of a good challenge you would like to set for yourself & post it on the 50+ Board. We'll join you in the challenge & it will be a lot easier to do it!

7) Identify 5 things you did today that were good/nice. Write them on an index card and put it on your refrigerator.

8) Go to at least one 3FC Board that you rarely visit & read through 1 page of messages.

9) Think of a goal that you could meet this week. Challenge yourself to do it.

10) Turn off TV, turn on some good music, lie back and spend 10 minutes imagining how you will spend a day after you meet your weight goal - be specific - start with when you wake up in the morning and go through day until bedtime.

Hi Karen,

I can maintain at 1200 (with exercise), but to lose, I have to go down under 1000.
