Hello Everone and good to have you check in Mary.
Be
SMARTabout any plan. I read this in an article and I hope it helps.
•Specific –Be Specific about what You want, to lose weight or get fit; or both.
•Measurable – Define how much weight you want to lose, or how much fitter you need to be.
•Action – Define exactly what you will do – specific diet, exercise plans etc.
•Realistic – Set goals that you will be able meet, do not try to lose too much weight too soon.
•Time-limited –Set a time limit and then assess your achievements at the end.

I also think that if you Journal daily, it will help you find out where you are falling short. Be honest with yourself about the food you are eating and how much. Be accountable to someone other than your self. It will help keep you on track. To lose weight you must be willing to change your diet and lifestyle. So your action must cover both of these bases.
For those that are Diabetic, use the low G.I guide and it can work with the BFC plan or just about any other plan. I know it can be confusing but with effort and planning; you can do it.
