Happy Friday all!

Yesterday was pretty good for me, but I didn't get a chance to weigh myself this morning. I am out of eggs so am having chicken noodle soup for breakfast. ;-0 Yesterday afternoon I was really hungry, but drank a couple cups of Green Tea and it seemed to help! If you notice the ingredients in some of the supposed "diet pills" available over the counter, Green Tea is frequently included and I think there's something to that (plus it's a great antioxident).

Yesterday:

B - HB egg
L - small salad and Bean soup
D - half a baked pork chop with Uncle Ben rice (yes, carbs in the rice)
white wine

I've got lots of work still to do as I have new hardwood floors and am putting the baseboards in myself. Yesterday I accidently shot a nail from pressure gun through my thumbnail ;-( Glad no one was there to hear what I had to say when that happened!

How is everyone doing? I'm optimistic I'll hit my goal on Monday of 1 1/2 pounds!!!

Hi,
I have to make this quick. I was off plan today. Very stressful day. My husband has had some head issues ( pressure behind eye, head hurts all over, blurry sight and high blood pressure. His is always on the lower side.) MD sent him to eye Dr. Eye Dr. runs test an xrays and finds something behind eye, putting pressure on nerve. They also found a lump in his eyelid. Eye Dr. now is sending to see another MD for cat scan and remove lump for testing. He goes on Feb 1st. Back on plan tomorrow.

On another note. Yes, I have the BFC book. My breakfasts have been bad. I just haven't planned ahead. I'm so much better when I make my meals ahead. I'll work on it this weekend. Have a good weekend! Liz

Hi Liz,
Sorry to hear about your husband, I hope everything will be all right. I will keep you both in my prayers. My day was off too, I have to have an MRI Monday for a lump under my right arm that is very sore. My Lymph nodes have been swollen for more than a month now. I had 2 rounds of antibotics and 2 rounds prednisone and still it didn't help. So I am stressed worry about what it is.
everyone have a great weekend.

Izzy

Good morning all,

I'm sorry to hear about your medical issues and hope to hear good news from the testing. Things like that really put things in perspective, don't they?

I tried to be good this weekend but DBF brought over pizza and that is one of the foods I find hard to resist. ;-( For the week I was down 1 1/2 pounds but had hoped to do a little better. I've packed a good lunch (big salad with roast chicken) and I plan to bake some fish for dinner, so I'm back on plan. Have spent the entire weekend putting baseboards back up but it's finally starting to look nice.

Hi Everyone and Thanks webwoman,

Last week was an extremely stressful one and I did not do well on BFC. I have my MRI Tuesday morning. I wanted to cancel it, but was afraid to. I hope that I can get my mind and heart back into my weight loss journey. Right now it doesn't register in my head, it so busy trying to make sense out of all the crap that I am going through. I lost 1 pound, not so good. But I will get back on track soon. I hope everyone had great results with your weigh in. webwoman congrats on your weight loss. 1 i/2 to 2 pounds is a realistic and achievable goal. Keep going, you are doing good.
Ok have a great BFC week.

Izzy

Hi everyone,
How are things going. Well got my MRI and it was good news...no cancer.
But nowits time to get busy making up for days wasted worrying and eating.
I want to feel better and losing weight will make that happen. So I am taking a look at how and what I can change. I want to see some good numbers next week.

Hi girls,

That's great news Izzy and I'm sure a load off your mind! I was thinking about you yesterday and I hope they figure out what's going on. Yes, it's time to jump back on BFC and get the scale moving in the right direction again!

I didn't weigh myself this morning as DBF and I made dinner together (chicken piccata - yum!) and I had some pasta with it, but will weigh on Friday morning. So far I'm only down a half pound this week, but there's still 4 days left to lose!

After work will drive to a Sam's club and pick up a new bookcase for my family room. Since I replaced the flooring, now all the furniture looks old and tired. Hey, it's only money!

Have a good day everyone and don't forget to drink your water!

Hi!
Izzy - Wonderful news.

I'm on plan and feeling great. For breakfast today, I had black beans, broccoli and cheddar cheese. My husband thought I was nuts.

Have a good night. Liz

Good Morning All,
Thank you for your well wishes , I appreciate it. Now getting back into the plan has not been easy. I was reading a post on another BFC tread in which
a lady has lost 60 pounds sense October 2011. HOW do they do it. I see others with same stories and I am amazed. I know it is ALL up to ME. The difference is simple....THEY ARE DEDACATED!!!They committ and NOTHING stands in their way. They offer NO excuses for not doing all they can. It doesn't matter if they are sick, broken hearted, etc. THEY JUST DO IT!!! Why can't I??? Ladies it sounds like you are doing well, you will see results. Just keep doing it, day after day. Have a great week end and keep it BFC.

Hugs
Izzy

Hi Carol Sue,

Thanks for the well wishes. Its great to hear from you, I see you are doing well on BFC. Thats Great! I wish I had stayed committed to BFC, I would be where you are now. I am slowly getting back on plan. Today I am cooking my meals for the week. and I hope this will help me stay BFC. I can't help thinking how many times I have started then fall by the wayside, while others kept going and are now close to goal. I AM SO DISSAPPOINTED IN ME!But you inspire me and give me hope.
Thanks bearscubden, I appreciate your kind words. You are doing well and just keep going and you too will be a success just like Slmn11. I see we are close in starting weight, maybe we can keep each other in check. Tomorrow brings lots of challenges and another chances to get it right. Remember 1 day at a time is all any of us can do. Just committ to that day, and soon they will add up to big changes.

Hugs
Izzy

Good morning chicks!

This weekend was so-so for me...I did well on Friday and most of Saturday, but had superbowl junk that put me over yesterday. I had a small bowl of chili for dinner but also had chex mix (something I can't resist), crab dip with crackers and some breaded scallops. I didn't get stuffed but didn't bother weighing myself this morning because of the water retention from the salt >:

Hope you guys are all staying on plan - I'm eating healthy today and will weight in tomorrow. Izzy, every day's another chance - drink plenty of water and big green salads before anything else in your meals. Try the green tea trick in the afternoons. We have to get slim and trim for Spring weddings!

Have a good one!

Good Morning Chicks,

Yesterday I cook must of the afternoon, preparing for this week. I even went for a walk! I am committing to one day at a time. I am changing my bad habits day by day and soon I will have everything down. It takes a lot of effort to stay true to one's self. I hope everyone will have a great week.

HUGS
Izzy
