Well, I thought I needed to lose 1.8 lbs to get to a 50 lbs loss. When I got to WW I realized I needed to lose 2 lbs. Believe me when I say I don't usually let tenths of a pound bother me. This tenth did. But, I faced the scale and won!!!! I was down exactly 2 pounds which means I've lost the first 50.
Now it's time to start on 51 and damn, they lowered my points total again. I was just getting used to the last reduction in points. Ahhhhh well.
CAROL: HURRAY for DH's results. What a relief for both of you. My friends that foster dogs until a forever home is found would happily call you a "Foster Failure".
DEB: I love califlower and adore 'spargus. I had califlower and chicken for lunch. Good for you daughter finally realizing you were serious about the cake.
ANGELA: What did you think of the house?
Gotta scoot. Really just stopped in to share (uh, brag) my news!
The house is even more great than I thought. I don't want to crowd up the board with pictures, but I'll give you just a couple.
It also needs work, but maybe not really all that serious work, except I need to know about the wiring. DH doesn't know it yet, but I think I have to have it inspected, and also get a contractor to come in with me and give me an estimate on the projects I know I'd have to do. (On the wiring, they put in a new board sometime recently, but it kinda looks like maybe the homeowners did the work themselves, and so it's not clear how much might still remain to be done by an actual electrician....)
I could go on and on about how it's SO COOL, but I'm so torn. I really want the house. I'm really scared of the commitment. There you have it in a nutshell. A newer, more ready-to-move-in house would be less scary, but I also wouldn't be excited about moving into it....
Oh, this is a weight loss board isn't it? Another POP day. I'm finally back where my tracker says I am.
The fireplace, some of the pristine original woodwork, original leaded glass in the dining room...Hey, now I know how to post pics! Does this slow loading for anybody???

angela- the house reminds me of the one next door. They have the same amazing woodwork, very similar fireplace! The same man built my house but was during the depression so he didnt go so fancy. Its beautiful!! I understand you wanting it. Just be sure and have everything checked out!!!!
My daughter came back in last night with the doughnuts. She forget to leave the rest at her sisters house. Im not even tempted now!!
Jan 27th, 4 yrs ago was my highest weight of 306.8. 3yrs ago in march was my lowest weight..213. Now here I am stuck in the middle.
I am not happy that I wasnt able to keep the weight off or that i never got to goal. I am happy to be here and not have gained all my weight back plus some!! Thanks to each of you for the support and friendship through the years.
Angela -- Beautiful features!! Get it thoroughly checked!
Debbie -- We're glad you're with us! And I understand. I lost 125 pounds 6 years ago and have gained half of it back. Back down I go. I'm mad at myself, but that doesn't really help anything...
Carol, that's great news! And for you, too, Judy! Angela, that is a lovely house. We're in an apartment until forever, because it's tied to my job, and although it's nice being able to have other people take care of all the maintenance needs, there are days I just don't want to have any neighbors, and to have a lawn all of my own.
Congrats, too, to Deb and Angela on recovering their losses It's harder the second time around, as I've just learned, so well done on your stucktuitiveness.
I've thought about doing the WW thing as well, and if I remember correctly, it worked for me back when I first started, but I think I'm going to stick with what I'm doing now -- now that I've FINALLY gotten a little bit back on track. The best part for me is that his taking this seriously has really sparked my competitive side, and now I want to take it seriously! I'm feeling better about this journey than I have for a long time...
