CONGRATS, ZEN!!!
You are a freakin' rock star, lady! Taylor - I totally hear ya. I have come to a total stall and it's SUPER discouraging. Thank GOODNESS for the long weekend! |
Lets see if I can be super good over this weekend and come back Monday at....215....yeah, lets try that...
|
Wooooooo! Goooooo Stuffed Bunny!
You got this - I'm sure it's in the bag :) |
A bed... What's that for again? :?:
I feel like a zombie, but I had a wickedly fun weekend. *falls asleep at her work desk* |
Ok, so I had to get a new scale and it is different by a few pounds, so I've "gained" a pound or two. UGH!
|
I am weighing in with my trainer in little more than two hours. >.<
I hope hiking 2 days in a row will help me get rid of some poundage. However, TOM is about to start and I had 4 glasses of wine last night. ...Trying to stay positive.... |
Hi ladies!
I saw this thread and decided to jump in! I FINALLY feel like I'm getting close enough to ONEderland that I can start pushing myself to get OUT of the 200's! 13 lbs. more and I'll officially weigh less than 200 lbs. I'm pretty excited! :-) 199 is my next "mini goal", and I'm really hoping I can get there by July 4th. Good luck with your goals, everyone!! |
Hey Ladies! I'd LOVE to be out of the 200s! The only time I have been in the last 8 years was when I was pregnant and had morning sickness so bad I couldn't keep anything down. I've love to do it without the morning sickness and keep it that way. Big breath in, hold, release. LETS DO THIS!!!

Question for all you lovely ladies - How did you first start working out?
I am sooooo embarassed by my fitness level (or there lack of!) and wondering what you guys did to start out and get the ball rolling??? Hope everyone had a great weekend! |
Hey Angry Mittens! (lol, cute name!) :p
Don't feel embarassed, everyone starts out that way! When I first started working out I'd be struggling to walk on the treadmill at 2.3 mph. And run? HA! The only running I could do was chasing after the ice cream truck. :o It was sad how terribly out of shape I was, but if I hadn't been so out of shape, I wouldn't know how far I've come! I still weigh over 200 lbs. but can easily walk at 4 mph for 45 mins. and I can even RUN for 2-4 mins. straight without dying! :carrot: Start out slow- do something you're comfortable with. Maybe start with a few fast paced walks, dancing around the kitchen while you clean, or go on a short bike ride. Keep in mind that ANY TIME you get your heart rate up for 10-20 minutes straight, you're exercising! Find something you enjoy (or can tolerate) and try to do it 3-5 times per week. The first few weeks will be hard, but as soon as you see what a WONDERFUL difference exercise makes on how your body looks, you will learn to love and respect the exercise you do. Good luck and let us know how it goes!!! :) |
BLARGH!!
I want outta the 200's so bad I could cry!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yeah, I started walking on the treadmill, using the eleptical(sp?), and just started with the upper body equipment at my gym. It's slow going, ;).
You'll get there Taylor, mark it down, drink your water, and keep on fighting. It takes the scale a bit to catch up with us, I swear it can be a week or two behind,. |

 Don't toss it against the wall, just give it some time so that you can get a baseline on that scale. It's a minor do-over, ;) Cute pic by the way, :D |
I weighed in at 227 this morning. I can't wait to be out of the 200's
