:bravo: Matilda and Rtsmme!

This is turning out to be a wild weekend by my imaginings (which is a fun words all by itself, ;)). Not only do I plan on doing the family thing and making my Sis kick my butt exercise-wise, but I am also visiting a friend whom I haven't seen a few years. A partier that Lady, so that will be... interesting. :p

Do you ladies have any plans for the weekend? :D

Thanks, Song. I think I'll do that for this long weekend, I'll get my sister out and about and that usually involves some nice walks. I just canceled my gym membership because I never go anymore, but I can be her +1 this weekend at her gym. Might just have to hit the beach as well, ;).

:welcome: Audrina! So what are your plans?

Paramedic, Ugh, I feel the same way about the obese/overweight number that I flirt with daily/weekly.

Thank you! :)

My plans are to be diligent about my fitness routine, one hour a day, five days a week - I'm going to add an additional 750 minutes of exercise this month, take the stairs up to my condo [five flights] every time I can, drink at least 4 glasses of water a day and focus my diet by eating more lean protein.

I'm also not going to weigh myself for two weeks, I hope that seeing a bigger [hopefully] jump in my weight will motivate me to keep working hard. July is the month I get out of the 200s!

I have no idea when the last time I weighed less than 200lbs was, but I'm sooo excited to break that number and be in the hundreds.

Thank you for the warm welcome. :^:

Wow! I love the stairs idea! (That's one downside to where I am at, though there is usually a step up into a building, if even that e.e, but that's nothing compared to those 5 levels ;) awesome). I should be taking notes! Bravo on coming this far and Onderland is right around the corner, :D.

audrina 06-30-2010 03:27 PM

Thanks! Yeah, I realized that even adjusting small things such as parking further away so you have to walk, climbing the stairs all add up to making such a huge difference. Every little bit helps you know?

Looks like it's right around the corner for you too! :)

I def agree that it is a lifestyle! I have been at it for a month and a half as well and I'm starting to feel like the spark in me is just slipping away. I was so into this when I first started,I just need to get my spark back! :)

Good luck!

Thanks, logging on here daily helps me ALOT!

I second that, Mati. I've been hopping on 3FC nearly every day each week since I started, it sure helps to keep reminding me of why I am not diving daily into a candy bag anymore. Now if only it pushed me to exercise as well, ;).

Since its the start of a new month I am going to try to get back on track with my exercises. I have been mowing the lawn, doing tons of housework and other things that I guess I could consider exercise. But I need to get back to doing my actual exercise routine...my treadmill has missed me LOL And I would love to get back to the 2 pounds a week loss not less than a pound, I just dont get how I see some women losing 3-4 pounds a week!

And to my counting calories friends do you count fresh fruit and veggies as part of your calories?

Yes, I do. I try to account for every single calorie I consume and what I burn as well. You'd be surprised how many calories are in certain fruits and veggies, however, I don't feel guilty when I go slightly over my daily calorie allowance because I snacked on some veggies or ate a peach.

Hey everyone. I'm New to this and SO ready to be outta the 200's! I just weighed in today at 230.2 and I hope to be out of the 230s by the 4th! I would like to never see a 2 in front of my weight again

Song of Surly 07-01-2010 04:16 PM

Back down to 204.2! So, not completely back to what I was prior to the beach trip, but at least I know some of it was just water weight. A relieved sigh over here.

Yay for fun and healthy weekends! I'm planning on camping/going to the lake this weekend with my sister, brother-in-law and a few friends. So excited to see if I can water ski again this year. Last year I weighed too much, and my arms were too weak. Now that I have some stronger arms and am almost 30 pounds lighter, I think I will definitely be up on those babies again. I've just got to stay away from those smores.

And I agree. There's nothing like 3FC to keep me accountable. It's been a life-saver when it comes to keeping my head on straight too. If I had gained those three pounds at the beach and didn't have 3FC, I would have probably been in a little bit of despair, but what I've learned from 3FC completely helped me put it into perspective. It's all about getting back on the horse, not being a jockey from the get-go.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and, if you're in the states, a happy July 4th!

And welcome, Noelle. :D

Rtsmme4life 07-02-2010 09:48 AM

Congrats Song! Hope you have luck skiing! :yay:

Happy 4th to you and everyone else! :sunny:

Noelle85 07-02-2010 01:04 PM

Thanks Surly :) Oooh I just got outta the 230's into the 220's Happy Happy Joy Joy

kaelah 07-03-2010 06:28 PM

UGHHH. So I was a bad girl and stepped on the scale midday, after eating and working out, and I see 216. BLAH. I know that I packed on the majority of this weight in the last month or so. I wasn't planning on stepping on a scale at all until next week but curiosity got the best of me.

Anyway, I read the last 15 pages or so of this post and you girls are awesome, so I thought I'd jump right in. I'm Kayla, 23, and calorie counting and working out to DVDs and walking/jogging at the park to lose weight. I've done it before- two years ago I dropped 25 lbs in about 2 months. So, I'm ready to do it again but STICK WITH IT this time.

My goal is to be in Onederland by the end of the month. I'd love to be in the 180s by the time school starts back up (I teach) in August. That may not be a very realistic goal, I dunno, but I'm gonna work my *** off to get there!
