I agree... can't wait to get out of here (no offense to my 150-something friends )! STILL 152 today. Sigh. Yesterday I only ate 1200 and went hiking... no change. Today is my first half-day of work and I'll keep this up for the next 5 weeks so I plan on exercising A LOT.

i went out and bought a ton of healthy food and picked up a pound of ground turkey. i heard it was a healthy substitute for ground beef so we'll see. i'm praying the scale moves tomorrow. come on 150!

As long as it's ground turkey BREAST, it's fantastic. If it's just normal ground turkey, it's probably ground with the skin on... in which case it's about as bad as ground beef fat-wise, I think... I think.. I learned that on the Biggest Loser, hahaha. God, I'm lame.

And... KUDOS for not eating the pizza! Fight the power, sistah!
I hope the scale moves for you tomorrow! Check in! <3

A little OT, but I read in Michael Pollan's In Defense of Food that the link between dietary fat and body fat has been pretty much debunked, with one exception: trans fat. So unless there's a big difference in trans fat content betw. ground beef and ground turkey, you're probably ok eating whichever one you like better, as long as your'e not eating way more calories of one than the other. But that's just if you believe Michael Pollan.

Hmmm. If there isn't any skin mixed in with the ground turkey (if it's turkey breast) then there's probably VERY little fat in the turkey at all... but if it's got the same amount of fat as beef, then yeah, I agree. Probably not really a huge difference which one you're eating.

150, woman!!! You're SO close! I can't wait to see you over in the 140s thread in a day or two! If THAT doesn't motivate you to be perfectly OP, I don't know what will!!!! YAAAAY!!!!!
As for the turkey... well, you can look the ground turkey BREAST next time, and it'll be super super low fat for ya.

Skinny:
Yay for being a wee bit down! Congrats! You'll be down to the 140s in no time!
And yeah, I think we miss this thread, hehehe. Not QUITE enough to gain the two lbs back, but enough to be big ol' imposters in the 150s thread, hehehe.
