Aww thanks! Bjeweled! I think you are too!

I have done the shred since last week, I'm going to do it today. I need to. It's like I can feel my muscles shrinking!

Oh and um I met this dude online, and he's trying to force me to tell my weight. WTC? Um no! Why would I do that? Stupid boy, I asked him didn't his momma teach him better than that?

Hey girls!

Sorry I have been MIA today - I have been really busy today with errands etc.

But I did get to the gym today for another 40 minutes and burned 500 calories. Go. Me.

The boy wants to go to Outback for dinner. >.< the good thing is I knew that to begin with so I have kept my calories for lunch and breakfast to a total of 700 calories and went to the gym where I burned that off so I can enjoy myself tonight. But no worries - I wont get that deep fried onion of DEATH. Those things actually make me vomit....I am gonna get a small steak, bake potato with no butters, steamed veggies with no butter/sauce, one glass of wine and a side salad with no crotons, cheese and dressing on the side. I think i will be okay!! He also loves that bread so I may have a piece or two with no butter but hopefully I can actually say not to it.

Personals later...I am gonna go make myself pretty for my man!

In other news, does anyone ever just feel bored with food? I'm so sick of cooking for myself and really and just sick of all the foods I like. The only meat I really eat is chicken, and really, how many times can you make chicken? Every time I start thinking about what to make for dinner I get really anxious because I know there aren't many options for me and I'm sick of everything!! Grrrrrrrr............

Hopefully the weigh-in won't be disappointing. I know I JUST re-started this business so I don't even really know what it's going to say, especially after the binge-y week when my boyfriend was gone. I'm really nervous :-(
Hey girl. How did the weigh-in go? I got one whole week-1 day for weigh-in but I'm already tempted to weigh myself every time I go to the bathroom. Blah. I'm really nervous about it because...the same reason as yours...because I don't know what to expect.

I know what you mean about food... Well, have you tried to look at recipe from other cultures? For example, for stir-fry, there's Asian, Mexican...Sure, both are stir-fry but taste totally different. Also, even in Asian, Korean, Chinese, Japanes all taste differently. Also, the only meat you really eat is chicken...have you tried the chicken sausage? they are really good and can be used in so many different dishes. If you need any help in Asian recipe, please let me know. I will be more than happy to help ya with that.

Go Taylor!
I also did 30 minutes of more work out! Little short of an hour!

That's sweet of you to make yourself pretty for your man... I should start doing that, too...but I don't even see him on weekdays..and on weekends, he let me sleep in... so... hmmm...

Yay on everyone and their exercise. I really tried to find motivation for at least cardio at the gym today and just didn't have it in me.

Dinner was so good, I have a happy tummy. I am kinda looking forward to my weigh in this week. I have been pretty much OP except for the chocolate bar I ate so far, so I am hoping for good numbers.

Hey girls,

I made it to the gym. 30 minutes on the elliptical, that's it. But I went so whatever. Tomorrow is belly dance and so I am looking forward to that mostly.

Guys I know I can't be leading him to think that....but if I told ya'll the long version you'd be here till tomorrow. Don't worry I'll figure it out...it just gets me down sometimes to know it is inevitable. I am terrible for this, I know. Just confused and scared. Anyway enough of that.

Tara WTG on the gym. And I am glad to know you are Korean...because I would love to have a pork bagolgi (i guess that is how you spell it) recipe. I am nervous to weigh also cuz I just got back to working out since before the holidays and I probably build muscle first and yada yada

Arts I know exactly how you feel. I am gonna BE a chicken soon. I eat it about 95% of the time. I just look for recipes in all types of places to change it up. Thanks for being kind and supportive.

HWGA Dang gurl you are racking in the boys....

Taylor Have fun and good job at the gym. You'll be fine.

Jewels and Troy You guys are right. Thanks. Troy ....I want a lawyer daddy.....

Troy I didn't see your post at first about the tires. Good gracious no wonder you needed dad. I went the ef off...so kudos to you.

tara -- my boyfriend is korean and has tried to get me to eat some korean food....just not my thang. I think since I didn't grow up with it my mouth just doesn't "Get" it. And stir fry is a little tough because I don't really eat a lot of veggies (I KNOW, REALLY BAD!). I actually have a condition where I have more tastebuds than most people, so veggies taste extremely bitter to me. I can eat some cooked, but not stronger ones. It's really really frustrating. Every once in a while I go through recipes on foodnetwork and put them into my "recipe box", so maybe I should try that again. I also have a slow cooker and some good-lookin new recipes sent to me by a lovely 3FCer, so I should try that out.

I'm really really discouraged about my weigh-in. I'm back up to 205. 205!!!!!!!!!! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!! I'm not giving up, but I'm just so so so disappointed in myself. I thought I was stronger than that and more able to take care of myself. I was hoping to be a "healthy" weight by now, and I'm even further away than when I made that goal!!

I did do 45 mins on the treadmill today instead of my usual 30 just because I was so upset. I really don't know how I let this happen. Part of me wants to cry...

arts Korean boyfriend? Cool! What about beans? Do you like beans? I LOVE blackbeans and you can use that for many different great recipes. Don't be discouraged about the weight, though. It's good to hear that you are not giving up. Let it be the motivation to be stronger and to keep going... Also, maybe it's water retention because you started working out again. I heard somewhere that when working out, muscle tends to reserve water to protect itself from the tear. Maybe try to drink some more water...? Well, I know you will be in Onederland in no time, though!

Cake I would LOVE to give you the recipe for bulgogi. I usually make beef one, though. Do you like the spicy version or regular version?

Troy I'm sorry to hear about the tire. Michigan has SERIOUS pothole issue and I have to deal with it everyday, and even had flat tire from it. So when dealing with tire, it frustrates me greatly! It's crazy how the place messed it up, though. You would think one knows what they are doing if that's their job! And I don't think there's anything wrong with going to dad about that. I wish I knew a lawyer personally, let alone be dad.

tara - yup! Half korean, half Russian/Jewish. Crazy combo. He's crazy, as well. I like beans okay, but only in things..I can't eat them by themselves. The texture of them is so weird!! But I like them in chili, etc. Water is pretty much the only thing I drink. We don't keep juice in the apt, I don't drink soda, I can't STAND milk by itself, and I ALWAYS have a water bottle with me. I'll try and up my intake for the next couple days, though.

Classes start back up tomorrow, so hopefully I can keep this business up while I'm in school this semester. That's what fouled me up in the past couple months...I got too caught up in school and completely forgot about the whole weight loss thing. Since I have 4 of the same 5 classes (the second half of them) this semester, I'm hoping that it won't be such a jolt to my mental state...

Wow 9 pages. Well I think I wrote personals to almost everyone. That took a long time.

Today was another long day. I had lunch with my sister (bribe in order to get her to bring my power cord), her first comment to me was wow your boobs are swollen. We went into the casino to park and the parking attendant didn’t believe I was over 21. It made me feel good. Then I went to class, first class was only 30 minutes then had to wait an hour and a half until my next class. I went to get a pop (I needed a caffeine buzz to make it though my next class) and everyone I saw said how exhausted I look. Hopefully I’ll get a good night sleep tonight. But eating was good, I actually have no appetite because of the pain pills. But I’m forcing myself to eat at my normal meal times so that I have energy to heal.

CakeBatter – Sounds like your off to a great start to your week. Hopefully it keeps up. Great job signing up for belly dancing. I really want to do that one day. Build those ab muscles. Good determination on working out despite having everything against you.

BLCarter – Your avatar is a cute photo. I’m sure you can do it by V-day. Keep up the good work.

DisgruntledOne – I agree with you I would milk it to avoid the cold.

Shantroy – I’m such a clutz if it makes you feel any better about falling. Good job at kicking a$$ at the game. I understand the roommate thing. Mine and I have very different styles and she really wants to go shopping with me when I do my after shopping with me. We’ll see how it goes. Was the place that did the tire rotation the same place that put the tire on? Because then yes I agree you shouldn’t have to pay but if it was a different place they the place that put the tire on should be responsible for paying. That sucks I hate stupidity.

Rachel – I hate Mondays and at this point I hate Tuesdays too. Good job being down ½ a pound. To answer your questions. I’ve been on the forum for like 3 years, I’m a 3rd year law student, in my last semester, and I’m sadly single. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift/implants 4 weeks ago to help “reconstruct” my body since the weight loss.

Bee – Did you hear anything about the job? Good luck!!! What type of job are you applying for???

Bjeweled – Have fun on vaca … where are you going?

HWGA – Love the new avatar. That sucks about the smoking. Hope you’re feeling better. Great job on being a player … I wish I could be one too.

Taylor – I can’t believe how busy this chat is too. (But it always picks up in January). I normally go shopping once every two weeks. I haven’t been good about figuring out how much I’ve been spending. Great job on the elliptical. I miss being away that long. And I love the new photo. Also you probable went to Outback but make sure if you go again ask for no butter on the steak … yes they melt butter on their steaks.

Arts – Good job on getting back on the wagon. That is great that your friend is back but sad that the 52 inch tv you were “storing” is gone. I sometimes of get sick of cooking. Try adding beans as a protein or lean pork to mix up the chicken. At least your only up 3 pounds. Hang in there you’ll get it all off again.

Hipp – I have had lots of food dreams. I don’t know exactly it is but my friend who is a vegetarian use to also have food dreams about fried chicken. It just happens sometimes. I also have had dreams that I’m fat again. Actually my doctor said to my dad that the first thing I did after my TT was feel my stomach to see if it was still gone. I don’t remember but I wonder how often I do it at night.

Sabrina – Good luck on the job search.

Tara – It’s great to see my MI girl back!!! How was Korea. Glade to see your back on the wagon. I know what you mean about freezing. My friends have been great about not letting me walk that much, I’ve gotten a ride home from class every day and my roommate’s boyfriend drove me to work yesterday and she picked me up. I love wii and wii fit they make workout so much fun. I believe you can do it, hang in there. I love pad thai too. The thai take out place in the ren cen just closed which is probable good for my diet. I’ll have to try that.

Leigh – Great job walking 4.5 miles and the stroller pushing the stroller helps build strength.

Nish – Thanks for the advise everything is closed and my stitches are mostly gone. But I also haven’t been able to shower in 4 weeks. I can’t shower with drainage tubes and one is still in. It’s gross sponge baths suck.

Heather – Woo Hoo!!!!

Cali – I love the exercise high …

Porkchop – Welcome to the forum. You’ll love it here there is a ton of support.

Jahjah – I hate the scale everyday. I don’t always think it is very accurate.

Chele – I use to love Clementine too but they don’t love me they cause me such bad heart burn.

well it took me forever to get caught up and i can honestly say i probably won't stay that way for long. Living alone is doing what it always does to me, I work out and clean a lot. I went to this boxing club tonight and it was AMAZING. I have never had such an amazing full body workout in an hour in my life. It's definitely my new hobby.

cake: like troy said I was the one who was in the same situation. I just moved out after graduation and we said our final goodbyes on Sunday. he's moving to Colorado to play indoor football and even though it was EXTREMELY hard, I know it was best for the both of us. For the longest time I felt like I was the one suffering but honestly he was too because I wasn't loving him back the same way he loved me. The hardest part was knowing he wanted to be together forever and I didnt.. I'm still in love with him but I had to be fair knowing I was wasting both of our time.

hwga: I was just wondering if you had heard from ghost. I didn't know if maybe you had an alternative way to communicate with her other than here.. its crazy she just dropped off the map.

Sorry I can't get to everyone else.. honestly I can't remember after reading 8-9 pages and its past my "bedtime" since I have to get up at 6 these days. I also haven't seen Iconised, Elwing, or Ursus in a LONG time.. where did the rest of my girls go?
