I'm pretty much all finished my christmas shopping! still need to help santa with the stocking stuffers... but the main stuff to everyone is all done.
And a second positive, I'm enjoying the season without obsessing with diet. I'm not super indulging in lots of bad things... just accepting mentally that i may only be able to maintain for the next couple weeks rather than lose. It's an inner peace kind of success.
I baked 21 dozen cookies yesterday and only ate one.
21 dozen cookies?!!?!! my god woman! you're a baking machine!!! lol
what is that.... *gets calculator*.... 252 cookies and you only ate 1? after baking that many, i can imagine you may not even want to SEE a cookie for a long time.
I was so well organized I didn't even realize how many I had until they were all baked. I ended up with
4 dozen gingersnaps
4 dozen sugar cookies (that I iced today)
2 dozen (plus 8) shortbread cookies
4 dozen pecan sandies
5 dozen snickerdoodles
and 2 dozen coconut macaroons
I ran this morning. It was 38 degrees out. I am so glad I didn't wimp out!
And dang if it doesn't look like I'm starting to get some definition at the front hip bones, you know, that kind of indentation that changes how your abs look? Hard to explain. But THAT was a nice surprise this morning
I have a sore throat, I have to work straight through until christmas, I'm unhappy with my job, I ate pizza and chicken wings last night, And lost some weight.
