HAHAHA. Great job!
My bf and I are avid Foodnetwork fans so we pulled a couple recipes from the Foodnetwork website (www.foodnetwork.com) to experiment with. Our favorite recipe thus far is by Alton Brown. We are planning on making our pilot recipe with granola, brown sugar, honey and peanut butter. We don't want to waste a bunch of yummy add-ins like nuts and such if it doesn't work out. I will post back here to let everyone know how the first batch turns out!
OKay, for today's awesomeness... I feel like I "have it" today. That little extra sparkle that makes you just feel a little extra pretty, a little extra confident, etc.
I am wearing a dress that my mother made for me when I was in high school (3 or 4 years ago) and it fits beautifully. It is black and has roses and skulls on it. I'm wearing it at the office and I don't even care. Also, wearing it with some fancy designer shoes and a size medium black sweater.
this sounds kind of hilarious and probably a little tmi? but I noticed yesterday when I was running that my stomach doesn't bounce as much anymore. It's awesome!
One good thing about me today is that I reached one of my mini goals! I fit into Size 8 (USA) skirts. I bought 3 online from 3 different brands and one is a little tight, one is perfect and one is a little loose. I think that qualifies as a undeniable Size 8.
Even better is that the closer I get to my goal I get, the more "Zen" about everything I become. I don't stress about losing the pounds like I used to. I know they will come off. I am starting to truly dislike food that was once a huge weakness; ie: pizza and ice cream. I wish everyone could feel the way I do about weightloss right now.
I love reading other posts about positive things, so keep posting! It's a huge mood-booster for me. I get excited for your accomplishments (all of you)! <3
I beat a major major major sugar craving by chewing a piece of gum. I had frosting in my hand at put it back for some spearmint gum!!!! yay. No more sugar craving.
I picked up and put down a tart 3 times. lol. I won the battle!
I may be sick right now and even though my energy is kaput, I'm still maintaining that I'm strong enough to not "need" a chocolate or treat of some kind to make myself feel better.
