My positive thing for yesterday was that I resisted some
serious food temptation... Like I mentioned earlier, I hurt my back over the weekend, PLUS this is finals week for me, so I'm really stressed out... And it's like, all of a sudden, all I want to do is
EAT. In the past, during finals week I would buy a bag of French Onion Sun Chips, energy drinks, tons of candy, etc in order to "get me through it" while studying/writing papers. I'm a total emotional eater, so it's sooo easy to slip into the attitude of
I *deserve* these chips because I'm stressed/my back hurts/etc. I was in our student convenience store last night with one of my friends, and lo and behold, he bought a ton of junk for himself because he had a paper to write! I was like, grrr, it's so unfair that other people get to do stuff like that, but I don't!

Heh. I was so tempted to buy something, even just a tiny bag of chips, but I didn't. So I'm proud of myself for that! Though I still have 2 more nights left of my finals week (= 2 finals and 2 papers) before I get to leave Thursday night, so here's hoping I can stay strong.
