So far the trick has been treating every workout like it's a scheduled class that I can't miss. I also have an ap on my phone called Lose it! (it's a free ap!) that I use to track everything I eat. I like to write, but I don't always have a journal on me whereas I always have my phone... I also just started this month so I chalk up some of the loss to that...

21: 229 it's official!! And an official weigh in day, so I get to move my tickers! Somehow, I only came in at 954 calories yesterday and I was pretty stuffed. YAY red cabbage with a small drizzle of balsalmic vinegar!! It's truly become my go to staple

Some of you may remember what I went through last year. All of the stress and upheaval caused my thyroid to get out of whack. I have been working really hard to maintain my weight. I have not been completely successful, but I guess it could be a lot worse. Since the Summer, my Endo has had to increase my Synthroid at every re-check. Today I had another appointment.
Quick update from the Endo. My thyroid numbers are still not where she wants them to be but they have improved She wants to re-check in 4 months. I am still struggling with my weight, so I told her about my diet and exercise. I wanted to discuss this in case she thought I needed to make some changes. I told her that I normally workout 7 days a week, once in a while I have to miss a day, though. I also told her that I workout 45 minutes to 1 hour a day. She agreed that I cannot increase that any. I told her about my calorie range and that prior to this issue I was still losing in this range. I asked her if I should lower my calories some. She said "No". She said "What I want you to do is to keep doing what you have been doing all along . . and to have patience with yourself." She said that I have been very hypothyroid and my body has been through a lot this year. She also said that once my numbers are right, it still might take a little while for everything to get back in sync.
So, the Dr's advice is to keep doing what I have been doing and to have patience.
