Well, I'm going the wrong way here as well. I attribute it to not going "potty" past few days which in turn is making me retain water. I went to Walmart last night and bought Fiber Choice tablets. I'm hoping these help. I eat plenty of vegetables and drink lots of water yet I get plagued with constipation more often than not. Anyone else have these issues?

thinkthin- I definitely have "potty" issues, especially when cutting carbs. So far I have been using Good Earth's Slimming Tea, Vitamin B6 and Magnesium. So far- so good.

HUZZAH, SmallSteps! I'm so glad that you had a breakthrough, because you were really discouraged there for a bit.

thnknthin1~ Fiber Choice tablets may take a few days to work, but I would stick with them as they will probably help. Also, I drink one-two mugs of green tea every day and have found that it helps with my digestion (I can tell what days I didn't drink tea...). However, drinking too much tea can have the adverse effect and cause constipation, so if you decide to try drinking tea make sure you don't drink in excess... Good luck! I hope you feel better soon!

I'm hoping these tablets do the job. They definitely make my tummy cramp up on occasion. I eat plenty of vegetables, you would think I would be more regular than I am. It's crazy (and aggravating) to watch my weight fluctuate so much because of this. grrrrr

Oh how I wish the scale in my bathroom and the scale at the center always said the same! I swear- sometimes my bathroom scale is more- others it is less. ::shrugs::

My official weigh-in is on Saturday and I would LOOOVEEE to see 229! A new decade! Refreshed hope!

thnkthin - I notice I have bowel issues if I cut back to much on fiber, I aim for 35-45 per day and in the last few days, those numbers had dropped into the 25-30 range and my scale went up. Increased them yesterday and they went back down. Of course, everything had to come out first. Ugh.

Angihas2 what are your sources for fiber? Do you eat whole grains or is it mainly from vegetables? I'm doing the low carb thing so I have to rely on my fiber coming from vegetables which can be difficult to reach 25-30g.

thnkthin - usually from veggies, sometimes brown rice or quinoa, I do eat Fiber One either as a snack with skim milk/soy/almond milk or tossed in some yogurt.

Angihas- Did I read in the other thread that TOM officially arrived? No test needed for the morning?
