Finally jumping over from the 250-260 thread! Hi everyone!

Welcome! May you have short and sweet stay in 240ville! MissKoo, Hope the fiber does its job! Charliee, that shake looks rockin'! I want to try it. I'm iffy about the cottage cheese though. I had a slip up last night and ate after dinner so I weighed in this AM to check out the damage so to speak. It's only halfway thru the week (I weigh in on Fridays) and I'm down 5 lbs!!!!!! I know its probably a combo of water weight and post-TOM weight but its exciting to see the scale move down instead of up! Faye |

I was really iffy on the cottage cheese too, but the recipe said that she promised I wouldn't taste it, so I gave it a try and she was right. It was really good, I'm eager to try out some of her other shakes. If you try it let me know what your think. |

I get extremely scale obsessed when I try to lose weight. Sometimes its helpful, sometimes its not. I'm going to stay away from the scale until Friday though and only take that weigh in as my official one (which is why my ticker doesn't reflect the 5 lbs down!). |

Welcome and congrats fadedbluejeans. It's always fun to make the jump from one decade to another. Congrats on your mid-week loss, Faye - that's always encouraging. As for cottage cheese, it is basically tasteless. I made a holiday dip at Thanksgiving time with cottage cheese blended to smooth in a food processor instead of the mayo/sourcream combo and that was the one we ate, mostly, and no one could tell the difference. I did put a bit of mayo in for the tang. I like your idea for a scale, MissKoo. But I weigh in every day and just deal with the obstacles that come with it. It keeps me on track. |

I'm hunkering down for the big snow storm. Faye, I'm in No Va, as well. Expecting 8 to 10 inches of snow! Stay safe! Funny, last "snowpocalypse" I was rushing out to get enough cookie dough ice cream to last through the storm. This time I made a big veggie/squash pizza. I'm a different Koo!:cheer3: |

MissKoo, have you tried the cauliflower crust pizza? The recipe is on these boards somewhere, but I can send it if you can't find it. I tried it last week and it was really good and pretty easy to make. |

I weighed in at 240.0 this morning! I was really surprised and excited. I thought the drop to 242 was my woosh for post-TOM, but apparently I was better over the past couple of frustrating weeks than I thought. |

Koo, Yea on the new you!! So the snowpocalypse was a bit of a misnomer but I got the day off and enjoyed it, maybe a little too much food-wise I'm weighing in tomorrow officially and I'm gearing up to go to the gym and get my LAST CHANCE WORKOUT!!!! I'm thinking 1 hour zumba, 1/2 hour spin or elliptical. Overall, I had some slip ups this week but I'm hoping to see 242 or lower on the scale tomorrow. Fingers crossed gals and guys! |
