Oh Daimere your post made laugh. I know it's not where you want to be, but you're less than a pound from moving the next thread. So huzzah for that!! Besides, it could just be water from eating out on Sunday. Fingers crossed.

Well, I ate out today.So I might be a few days from seeing scale movement!

Down to 239 today. Whoo hoo! I changed my ticker, but I'm gonna stick around till the weekend and see if it stays down, I've been up and down all week.

Well, gals it's been 2 months since my healthy lifestyle plans came to a screeching halt and I'm back to my starting weight. I'm feeling so much negative emotions right now but I want off of this 'poor me-oh the shame-I couldn't dare start over' blame train I seem to have been riding for the past few weeks and I figured a good first step would be getting back on here.

Glad you are here, Faye. I'm on a comeback from a huge weight gain and my weight is finally coming off again. All my first steps are first steps now! Just putting healthy food on my table today and concentrating on that.

I got thru Day 1! Ignored free Thai food at work, said no to loaded nachos and cheese fries at bowling. I've forgotten how good these little victories make you feel. |
Ugh. Scale hasn't moved in almost a week! Grrr. I guess I'll have to look on the bright side and be happy it hasn't gone up! I'm going to cut back on the salt and eat a little more fiber and see if that doesn't help me out. I've been very good about keeping my food journal up. We'll see.

I've been stuck in the 240s for about a year now. When I went to the Dr in December I was 245.. When I went two weeks ago I was 240. Time to kick my healthy eating in over drive and get myself down in the 230s

@Sinderelly, you can do it! My mini-goal is to get into the 230s before my trip back home the first week of April. Only four pounds to go! I started reminding myself to get enough fiber (I'm low carb and I don't eat as much fiber as I used to - but I feel ten times better and thinner on lc). I'm going to stay OP and exercise as much as I can. Let's see what happens.

Nice work Sinderelly! MissKoo, I too need to get more fibre in my diet. I wondering if adding something to my protein shakes is ok? Or if I should just stick to high fibre foods. Speaking of shakes, I found this site on the weekend with a recipe for a Shamrock protein shake. Oh be still my heart, I love love loved it.
