Darn weighed* not either lol

Yay mnemosyne you should celebrate, we are half way to the next thread!
Glad to know I'm not the only one who needs a little bit of chocolate everyday. :) And I completely understand about the snacky snacks. Salty Crunchy goodness get thee behind me. I had yesterday off, so I hit the gym twice and treated myself to a heavenly double chocolate cupcake. It was divine. I'm thinking I need to add some strength training to my exercise routine. I wanted to wait until I got to onederland, but I'm really worried about my midsection and whether or not it's going to snap back a bit. I guess I won't really know until I drop quite a bit more weight, but maybe if I start working on it now, it will help a bit. Hope everyone is having a great weekend! |
Hope everybody had a good weekend, or is still having one if you're on holiday. I'm down almost another pound today, so I'm hoping if I can have a good week, I'll be able to get into the 230's the week after.
|
Isn't it funny. . . I was so thrilled to be in the 240s and now all I can think about is 230S! Last week at the gym, I weighed myself and it was the first time in a long time that I could push that stupid little metal bar down to the 200plus mark (instead of 250 plus),
Sisters, off we march to VICTORY!!! |
Jumped up to 247 but I really hope it's water weight. Can you gain 4 lbs in one week? I can still make 10% if I lost 1.95 lbs a week till April fools day.
|
I'm still in mid-re-boot, meaning that I went off plan in a controlled way over the weekend I'm doing low carb, and I chose to eat carbs but stayed reasonably low calorie. So of course my weight was up a little bit, ~3 lbs or so, but I know it was just some water weight.
I am hoping that restarting my plan like this will break the stall I was having and I'll end up with a net loss. Ok, what I'm really hoping is that I will end up with a net loss that will take me into the 230s! |
Daimere It's unlikely you jumped up 4 pounds of fat in a week, it's probably mostly water and or hormones. Keep at it, I'm sure it will go down again next week.
MissKoo I completely agree, I was thrilled to be in the 240's when I first got here, but now I can't wait to get the next decade. And since that thread is both the 30's and 20's we'll be there even longer :) |
I'm back after a couple crazy weeks and trying hard to put together a couple of on-plan days. Weighed in at 247.2 today.

Finally!! |
WooHoo AprilSnow. That's AWESOME. Congrats!
Daimere - I am up too! Water weight. I always gain the week before, you know? I had a killer migraine yesterday, too, which is also hormonal. We sort of have to winnow through these frustrating fluctuations, alas. And I totally agree with MissKoo and charliee. When I got here, I was thrilled. Now I am thinking: I won't know it is still working until I get to the 230s! That is so silly, the games we play with ourselves. But I can't help it! I just try to balance out the games with consideration for myself and we will see. :) |
Thanks mnemosyne!
You keep going and join me there soon, and everyone else too! There are a bunch of people there heading into the teens and I'm going to need some company, esp. with a 2 decade thread, I'm going to be there for a while!! |
Two days in a row I weighed in at 245.3. I think that's all the water weight from last week.
|
I went to the salon today. And my hair looks so good that I didn't want to go to the gym and mess it up. I kept my calories lower to compensate, but now I'm feeling a little guilty. I'll have to try and make up for it tomorrow. Today I'm just gonna "whip my hair" :)
Congrats April Snow, hopefully we'll join you there soon. Hope everyone had a great day, it's almost the weekend! |
thanks charliee - I've been watching your ticker, wasn't sure which one of us would make it first, you are so close too!
and lol about whipping your hair with your new 'do. I bet you look great! |
