Morning all - popped down to 196 for a few days and then back up to 197 today. Go figure. I am trying to keep perspective that I didnt gain it all over night and I am not going to lose it all over night. But I have to admit that after 5 months of watching 2-4 pounds drop off every week, this game of losing a pound gaining a pound is driving me bonkers.

So, I am going to continue to eat on plan - sometimes when you are detoxing you can hold weight. But in the meantime I am going to do some things for myself that will make me feel like I am still moving forward with my total makeover.

Today I am going to the dr. to get the skin tag things under my arms taken off, and tomorrow I go to the dentist to get my teeth whitened. I am starting to feel almost attractive and I think these little things will help as they are things that really bother me.

Onward and downward, ladies! (for the scales)

Happy Monday, everyone! I feel kinda bad that I only log on M-F, but it's just so much easier for me to keep up with the forum at work. I have a nine month old who pretty much demands all of my attention when I'm home! :)

Anyway, I FINALLY got my whoosh. I guess it just took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust to daily workouts in addition to eating right. I'm at 193.2 this morning, woohoo!

Kat117 02-26-2013 05:44 PM

Step right up folks! Come on closer and take a look at this incredible device! It is mystical and mysterious and I dare anyone of you to try to figure out how it works.

That's right folks, I dare you to take your chance on this incredible piece of logic defying, brain befuddling, emotion tangling machinery.

That is right! Step on up and experience for yourself the one and only device in the history of mankind that has never failed, not even once, to make a woman cry!

It is the one and only, here for a permanent engagement, SeeSawing Scale!

Come on folks, give it a try. You will never see the same number twice in a row!

I will give you my own proof - Sunday I was 196, yesterday I was 197, today I am 196 again. Look at how amazing it is! Buy your tickets here before your neighbors get them all! Come Ride the SeeSawing Scale!

^^^ Heh ;)

That thing's making me feel sick! Up 6lbs overnight!

Question: Has anyone who's not counting calories (especially if you're not really "dieting"!) ever done a maintenance break before? I'm finding mine difficult, but a necessary evil...

going2bskinny 02-26-2013 10:15 PM

Kat117 02-27-2013 11:28 AM

oh we have added a new number to the seesaw scale routine!

I saw 195.4 today! Now.. let's see if it stays there.

allieballiebee 02-27-2013 12:38 PM

LOL, the dreaded seesawing scale. :) I was ready to chuck mine out the window until this week. I've actually weighed the SAME thing two days in a row now, which is pretty much unheard of for me. Anyway, 192.2 here. Hoping the trend continues!

going2bskinny 02-27-2013 06:06 PM

yay congrats kat I actually had some good news from my seasawing scale as well just now it said 197 woohoo now to stay there as well :O I think it will I could tell I was dropping water weight last night I had to go to the bathroom a lot now I just need to stay away from the salt.

congrats allie too wow your so close :O you should be excited hehe

the shiv 02-27-2013 06:44 PM

Ok, whatever I'm doing is NOT working. I thought it was little fluctuations, but now I'm back at 204 again I need to go back to the drawing board. Start the whole thing again. I took 16 steps forward and 8 steps back, and I'll just keep on doing that if I have to. As long as it goes down more than up, that might have to do.

And I will hopefully see you again soon!

allieballiebee 02-28-2013 10:08 AM

*headdesk*

194.8 this morning. Stayed under 1200 calories, but maybe had too much salt/not enough water? Sigh.

Kat117 02-28-2013 02:56 PM

195.4 again. Perhaps we put too much pressure on ourselves to get out of the 190s as fast as possible to give us "padding" away from 200?

All I know is that I fully expect it to be higher tomorrow and now becuase of what i ate. *sigh*

You can't get yourself down that you gained 1.5 lbs over the course of a day. I weight naked in the morning and I know I gain at least 2-3 lbs during the day, but you can only compare apples to apples. You have to pick a time of day and the amount of clothing/shoes you will wear and compare those daily/weekly numbers.

allieballiebee 03-01-2013 10:35 AM

193.4 this morning. Down from yesterday, but still up from Wednesday. Argh. Anyway, new month, new goals. My goal for March is to be under 185. That's less than 10 lbs. Doable, right? I hope so....
